Green Smoothie




Here is an idea on what to do with your leftover lettuce. I bought a lettuce for my sandwiches I made on Sunday. I have a lot left and I was thinking of what to with it. Well I haven’t drink smoothie in a while and someone told me that lettuce smoothies are really good. I just needed few fruits to add and voila J my green drink is ready.
It only takes few seconds and tastes really good J
Romaine lettuce is a nutrient rich leafy green that is good for your heart and low in calories. The vitamin C and beta-carotene content help to lower cholesterol and prevent build up on artery walls, which reduces the risk of heart attack. Being low in calories also helps you lose weight while keeping you full.

So what do you need for you leafy green smoothie?

Simple :
Lettuce or any other green veggie like spinach
Banana
Grapes
Pineapple and pineapple juice
Ice (optional)
Blend all in blender J

Easy huh? And it does taste really good J
Of course you can add anything you want. This is what I had at home.

  5. Wygląda rewelacyjnie, musze się przyznać, że nie pijam zielonych koktajli z warzywami :/ wiem, ze to błąd. Robię wyłącznie owocowe, ale spróbuję ze szpinakiem bądź sałatą :)

  7. A jakos cały czas nie moge przekonać sie do dodawania zielonych warzyw do koktajli Soki warzywne uwielbiam marchewka +jabłko albo na ostro burak +papryka Ale sałata lub szpinak ... Muszę chyba nad sobą popracować :)
