Bluemercury ~ store opening event in TriBeCa NYC.

Store with a Freedom Tower covered by clouds

Hi Loves!

I am so excited to share this event with you. And let me say this is my very first event that I was invited to. Loved every second of it.
Bluemercury opened up their 10th store in NYC. This time all the way in TriBeCa.
Bluemercury is a chain of a luxury beauty products and spas founded in Georgetown, Washington, DC.  Founded by Marla and Barry Beck. Bluemercury carries makeup, skincare and fragrances from well known brands like Nars, Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier,  Chanel, La Mer, Clinique and their brand M-61 Laboratories and Lune + Aster.  Currently there is over 85 stores across the USA.

Even took place on June 2nd. I went there with my husband's cousin Snow. I always like to have a company whenever I go out :) Snow was kind enough and agreed to go with me.
It was amazing. We got to try some of the products that we didn't even heard of! It was a great playground for beauty bloggers :) And in that playground they spoiled you with wine and cookies :) Yum!  I might have a one glass too much of that wine LOL.But thats ok, right? :)
And also I didn't want to leave empty handed so I bought myself something. Bouncing between Chanel and Bobbi Brown counters I finally decided to grab my very first Chanel Lipstick :)
Actually I really wanted a bronzing and highlight palette form Lune + Aster it is called Moonrise Glow and Contour and it's beyond gorgeous. I was swatching it at the event and OMG is a must.
with all that said here is a highlight of the event. I did post some on my snapchat :) Make sure you follow me (villemo20) so you won't miss anything :)

Store is amazing! Not far from Freedom Tower so if you are visiting or around make sure you check them out! Large selection of products and well organized. People working inside are super friendly and they do know what they do!
Store location: 275 Greenwich Street, NY NY 10007. Open 7 days a week.

Saturday Afternoon ~ NY Aquarium ~ Coney Island

Last Saturday finally I had a chance to visit New York Aquarium in Coney Island.
I always wanted to go but I never had time. Since my friend have a seasonal pass we decided to take our kids and just go.
I will make a separate post about Coney Island one day too :)
Wish we cold go week day because the place was crowded ! First We were cruising around and looking for place to park the car.  Then We went in without waiting in line ( thank you pass).
As soonest you come in you have this humangest tank on your right side. It is huge and it have a lots of different kinds of fish in it. then either you go outside or you go down corridor and see more aquariums. The first room have three small tanks, second have another three  and the third have also three and then ... you go outside. Really? one huge tank and then nine small and that you call Aquarium.... ok, moving on.
Outside you can see Sea Lions, Otters, Walrus Penguins and then the sea creatures I was most excited about - Sharks :)
And again I was disappointed... The water in a shark tank was green and you could barely see them.
I think there was 4 spices of sharks. It was kinda cool but nothing exciting . I was expecting more.
The only fun  part was a Sea Lion show with Diego and Osburne  :)
Other then that I would not be going back until the Ocean Wonders is build.
Someone told me that they didn't fully rebuild after we were hit by Super-storm Sandy in 2012.
Another thing, bring your own food and drinks! the prices are out of the world! Small cup of ice cream coast me almost $6! ( you will Sophia holding it in one of the  pictures), water and soda priced $3.50 plus tax so it come up to around $3.81! per bottle! Insane... same with hot dog and pretzels ...
