I went out to celebrate with my hubby's cousin. We ended up at Chevy's - mexican bar/restaurant.We were lucky and hit a happy hour! We got like 4 drinks each and a food!after we decided to take some pics around Times Square, since the bar was located on 42nd street.
As always TS is spectacular! The lights the billboards the people!

Washington DC ~ Cherry Blossoms Festival 2016

Hi!

I been planing to put this post up last week but didn't have enough time to fix the pics.
Anyways Easter Sunday we took unplanned trip to DC. Its was a time when famous Cherry Blossom trees were blooming so we decided to go and see it.
This was my first time in a Capital. We drove past once on our way to Virginia few years ago. Washington is beautiful! I really wish we could have some more time to do a bit more of sightseeing.
The thisng is when we went the weather was not good.It was cold, gloomy and windy. We didn't do much walking. My Sophia was complaining that she was bored and she wanted to go back to the car, same my mother in law she does have  knee problem and she cant walk a lot).
Once we got the car we had a lunch and drove to see White House.Unfortunately there was no parking and after driving 1.5 h in circle we decided to go home. So I guess once my parent get to visit me we will definitely go back. The drive is round 4h form NYC.
Here is some pics :)
BTW there will be a post from Times Square. I just have to edit my pics :)

Pumpkin Picking

I was waiting the whole year for this day to come! I always get excited for fall and pumpkin picking :) I know i sound so childish but some things really make me happy .
Anyways yesterday we drove form Brooklyn to my favorite farm in New Jersey.  The distance is around 60 miles, and it took us a bit longer because we took the wrong exit ( happens a lot when the driver is not familiar with the area, WELL  I AM but you know no one ever listen to passenger  :) haha ). New Jersey have a special spot in my heart. I spent there more then a year (before moving to Brooklyn) and I loved  so many great memories. Makes me happy every time I go back. I swear can  even tell the difference in the air hahah , how weird I am!
but anyways back to the farm and pumpkin hunting.
We went (like last year) to Casola Farm. The Farm is pretty big and have a great attractions for kids and adults. Nice and big pumpkin patch loaded with pumpkins any size, hay rides, pony rides, petting zoo, wild west show, face painting and night time hunted house, hunted hay ride and hunted corn maze :)
Also food court with decent food and drinks :)

I must say kiddos had so much fun. My daughter went with me last year and now was time for her cousins to tag along.

Here are some pictures form our trip :)
