All day curls with Madam CJ Walker and White Sands

Hello there!

Yes another post on hair care. Are you bored already? No then keep on reading and find out how I keep my hair curly all day. 

Summer is ending and I will go back to my usual hair style , which is straight hair. Summer time i rarely use hot tools that is why most of the time my hair is wavy/curly. I like to air dry. 

But well my curls don't last too long. by the end of the day you can see how  dull they look. 

I found solution in two products I been recently send. 

Madam CJ Walker Defining Butter Creme and White Sands Infinity Finishing Spray.

Madam CJ Walker Defining Butter creme is created for more curlier hair then my, but somehow it did worked well. Rich formula absorbs quickly and seals in moisture. Jamaican Castor oil moisturize and revitalizes hair and scalp. Murumuru oil makes hair manageable and soft. I actually like my hair after. They felt soft and curls were fine. plus it kept my hair frizz free (big thumbs up for that). I used it on damp hair and then  like I mention before I let it air dry. I was happy with the look of the curls :) Overall Madam CJ walker products are great for when I need my hair curly. If you have a really curly/coily hair try this! you will be happy with the results and the look of your hair. Plus it smells good! It have a notes of amber and musk and I been loving it.

To keep my curls curly all day I went over with White Sands Infinity Finishing  Spray.  what i like about it is that is not sticky like all other sprays. Don't you just hate that? this spray is truly awesome . im not a big on spray, coz I find them leaving my hair plastic looking and you know they are really sticky! I hate hate hate when my hair feels like that. I didn't notice anything like that with white Sands Infinity spray. it hold my curls in place the whole day, it did control the frizz and it did make my hair looking shiny. Gives firm hold but I can still run my fingers or brush run thru my hair.Hands down the best hair spray out there! Thanks White Sands for sending it to me and making me addicted ! Plus it does have a nice scent to it :)

Let's talk about my hair today.

 I want to show you more less how look my hair care/hair routine.
As much as I love my hair curly I always go for straight hair. During summer I didn't want to put too much heat on it so I stopped straightening it and instead I left them curly/wavy.

My hair straightening iron is 6 years old and it is about time to change it. To be honest I don't like it anymore. I don't do a good job at straightening hair plus it dries them a lot! and breaks them :(  Yet another reason for me to get rid of it. And for hair, it was not straight the way I wanted. So yes, bye bye my old hair styler  and welcome home CHI :)

CHI Onyx Euroshine Hair Styler ~ my new toy. I always wanted CHI straightening iron. I read so many review throughout the years that I knew one day I will purchase it. Before I start any review you guys should follow me on my IG and Snapchat. I am there regularly and always post demos and other things. after two, three uses I been completely obsessed. This flat iron gives me a salon quality results. Straight my hair within minutes, minutes! I remember my old iron i was waiting 15 min for it to heat up.
I like that it didn't burn my hair. It left my hair shiny and silky soft, Yes1 this flat iron did just that. Even the ends were in much better shape then before! Another thing that I really like is that LED bar. It shows you temperature that you can control by pressing up or down button. I like my temperature on 410f/210C. The CHI Onyx Euroshine comes with a thermal mat that you can put the iron while in use. I also have to mention that I LOVE the long cord! My plug is far form the mirror and now with that long cord I can straighten my hair so easy! WooHoo!

Now before I even start straightening my hair I always always have to brush it through. I use Not Your Mother's KnottY To Nice spray dangler  for easier brushing. Then I spray my favorite Thermal Spray by InstaNatural. Then I separate my hair and start the straightening process. Afterwords I use Savannah Hair Care Shea Butter Treatment Oil on all over my hair and White Sands 24/7 serum on my ends along with White Sands Smudge creme. I use a Crave Naturals brush. I actually have to get new brush soon :) Been eyeing few so let's see.

Got some new hair care products that I want to talk about :) Love trying out new hair care products and see how my reacts to it. So far they don't complain :) 

In the mail I received three new hair care products and I really been linking all of them.

Before washing hair massage  this into the scalp  using fingertips and let it sit for 15 minutes. Rinse and follow with a shampoo and conditioner. This treatment supposed to removes all buildup and fakes form the scalp. And does it really work? I believe it does! 

I actually have a dry skin/flakes right on my hair line - Forehead. Especially on the right side I notice a white flakes that I could get rid off! Shampooing didn't help. And if I scratched it, it would just fall down in white snow ... you know what I mean? That is the reason I wanted to try this Wonderful Scalp Exfoliator and see if it can help me remove the flakes. After first I notice them gone... but not all. So after third time I can say I'm free of those white flakes! Woohoo. My scalp also feels better. Less itchy, hence the flakes are gone  :)

. And I feel after these 3 times I am running really low. My hair is long and I guess my head is big LOL ! I used a lot of product so for three/four times to spend $32 is no no for me. I guess if you have less hair (shorter hair) it might last you for longer, or maybe I put to much ?  Anyways I do like the product, it did help me with the flakes but just the price point is way to much for me to spend (now ..maybe later I can who knows). 

If you have scalp problem try this one out :) Did I mention that it smells amazing?  It does have a notes of warm vanilla and white flower. It really smells delightful.

Frizz Fighting Coconut and Moringa Oils Curl Refresher Mist ~  in between washes hair needs a boost of moisture to maintain frizz-free. This mist revive flat waves and curls with moisture form refreshing, shine boosting mist. I been really enjoying this mist. I kept my hair curly for a week just to see how it would work. I sprayed it on third day and I my co worked notice .... shine! Actually my UPS guy asked me what did I do to my hair ? I asked him what did he mean by that ? He said that they look shiny! ooooo Yes that's the new refresher mist i been trying out! wow so I guess it works! 

After third and fourth day I sprayed evenly on my hair and run my fingers threw to separate curls and make them look more presentable. Another thing I notice was less frizz. Hurray! Now I want to try it on my straight hair and see if it can keep frizz on bay :) Again the scent is amazing! White Sands Texture Smudge Creme ~ just look how cool looking product this is. This water-based styling and finishing product. Perfect on wet and dry hair. It can be use to texture or straighten hair.  I used it both ways for straightening and it help me with my curls as well. At first I was scared of the intense color but no worries once you apply to hair it is colorless. Since its water based it really lightweight and it wont make your hair flat looking or greasy. I personally prefer it for styling. I put a small amount of creme on my hand, rub them together and style my curls (I do it on a damp hair) and then let it air dry. It did control frizz a bit as well. Overall this product is good. I prefer to use it on curls then my straight hair though.

Abba " Curl Prep" and Color WOW "Pop and Lock" ~ my solution for curly hair

Summer is almost here and with that my curly hair season is coming back. I like to leave my hair natural during warmer months and use less hot tools. 

After washing I usually leave my hair to air dry. My natural hair is wavy/curly. And I be honest I hate it. I hate when they tangle and then I have problem brushing it. But I get lazy too so I just leave them as they are. I have never really used anything to make my hair more curly.

All you do is mist it evenly onto damp hair. It made my hair more curly than before! I actually love how they look. Plus they do look healthy and hydrated. After I splash my hair with a bit of water, then I separate them and once they look ready I spry the Curl Prep. My curls and me are ready to go :) Definitely recommend this to all of you with curly hair :)

Another awesome product  found in Ricky's Box was Color WOW Pop and Lock. At first I was thinking that this will be my least used product. I was looking at the bottle for a qute sometime and trying to figure what to do with it ...  I put it aside and let it wait. Than  while I was cleaning I discovered it all over again and this time I said to myself I need to give it a try :) And OMG I love it! this give such a nice shine to my hair! wow! they don't look greasy or whatsoever. they look glossy and shiny! Especially my curls! works so good on them. Pop and Lock Shellac lock in color and makes it pop! the lightweight glosser helps seals the cuticle to tap color and moisture and lockout the dryness. A UV filter adds an extra layer of anti-fade protection for color that stays true. Pop & Lock creates a crystal clear matrix that dries to a glossy, mirror like shine that give hair wow factor. Can be use on wet or dry hair. So far I been using it on dry.

 After I spry with ABBA Curl Prep Spray I go over with Color WOW Pop & Lock. 

Love how my curls look healthy and beautiful! definitely my new summer must haves :)
