My Summer SPF Edit ~ High End and Drugstore

Sun damage is number one cause of premature skin aging.  Not to mention skin cancer. So went to my skin care drawer and pulled out all my sunscreens or basically anything with SPF in it.
I am not going to make a long introduction coz we all know how important is a good sunscreen.

Here are my top favorites

* Jan Marini Antioxidant Daily Face Protectant (SPF 33) ~ I discoverer this brand thanks to BrandBacker. This sunscreen protects skin from harmful environmental damage and prevent visible signs of aging. The lightweight formula features a universal sheer tint with clear matte finish. Glycerin keeps skin hydrated while rich antioxidants neutralize free radicals. Micronized zinc and titanium block harmful UV rays and soothe irritation. * Peter Thomas Roth Max Mineral Naked SPF 45 Sunscreen ~ one of my newest addition to my SPF family. All mineral lightweight lotion with zinc oxide and titanium dioxide provides board-spectrum SPF 45 protection. Vitamin A, C and E and safflower extract help nourish skin appearance while providing antioxidant benefits.  I like the tint and they way it blend with the skin. Again it can be use under the makeup. * La Roche Posay Anthelois Clear Skin (SPF 60) ~  absorbs pore- clogging oil even in the heat and humidity.  It is formulated with a unique oil absorbing complex with Perlite and Silica , providing anti shine properties and keep skin matte. It is not greasy or sticky, it don't leave a white cast. I love how it keeps my oil at bay and it is perfect for NYC humid and heat weather. I also use it on my daughter and it didn't break or irritate her skin. Definitely a keeper. You can buy it anywhere they sell La Roche Posay products: Walgreens, Target etc. Price $20

* Insta Natural Vitamin C Moisturizer with SPF 30 ~  I love Insta Natural skin care. as the name suggest they are natural and don't use chemicals in their products and they are based in Orlando :) Hoping to visit them one day :) I got this Moisturizer last year and I can tell you I use it a lot! The moisturizer is formulated to prevent common signs of aging and protect skin against daily sun exposure. It is mineral based and contains ingredients like Vitamin C, Niacinamide, Hyaluronic Acid, Sunflower Seed Oil and Zinc and Titanium Dioxide . Here is the link to review from last year (here). * Lancome Renergie Lift Multi-action Ultra Sunscreen SPF 30 ~ Powered by linseed extract, this moisturizer works lift, firm and improve wrinkles and visibly reduce the dark spots. It absorbs quick, its oil free and it wont clog pores. SPF 30 provides additional protection against environmental skin damage. It blends nicely into the skin, no white residue. Leaves skin hydrate, radiant  and comfortable. I like to wear under or with no makeup at all. You can get it at Sephora, Macys, Ulta , etc. Price $99.

Let me show you my two must haves in my skin care :) InstaNatural products have been one of my favorites for a long time. I started to work with this brand hmm I think like 2 years ago.  As the matter of fact I posted a review of my very first three products here on the blog in 2016. You can see it here. Yup they were in old packaging LOL.  I personally love the new revamped packaging of their products. White with green leaf, beautiful and minimalistic. As the months and years go by InstaNatural adds new products :) The have a whole lot of range of different oils, that I will be talking next month of :)

The serum comes in 1fl oz/30ml bottle with dropper  Easy to use. The consistency of the serum is not so runny. Like some serums can be like water so you have to be careful with them. this one is on a bit thicker side. It does have a light natural scent to it, which don't bother me. Once I apply to my face, serum sinks in right away. There is no greasy residue or what so ever left. It is gentle, I have a sensitive skin and this product wear nicely and I didn't notice any breakouts or redness. I been using it only night time and I can tell you that my skin feels more hydrated then before. While testing Glycolic Acid Serum I didn't use any other products in my night time skin care routine.  

Overall I think this is wonderful product. Feels light weight and like I said sinks in right away and leaves skin looking and feeling hydrated. This will be a perfect product for upcoming cold wintery months, when skin will need that extra kick of a moisture. I am actually thinking of buying one more bottle for my mom. I know she will love this :)

Next stop we have a SPF 30 Vitamin C moisturizer. I have this baby since summer and I can get enough of it. It is fantastic. Hair Routine including CHI Onyx Euroshine Hair Styler

Let's talk about my hair today.

 I want to show you more less how look my hair care/hair routine.
As much as I love my hair curly I always go for straight hair. During summer I didn't want to put too much heat on it so I stopped straightening it and instead I left them curly/wavy.

My hair straightening iron is 6 years old and it is about time to change it. To be honest I don't like it anymore. I don't do a good job at straightening hair plus it dries them a lot! and breaks them :(  Yet another reason for me to get rid of it. And for hair, it was not straight the way I wanted. So yes, bye bye my old hair styler  and welcome home CHI :)

CHI Onyx Euroshine Hair Styler ~ my new toy. I always wanted CHI straightening iron. I read so many review throughout the years that I knew one day I will purchase it. Before I start any review you guys should follow me on my IG and Snapchat. I am there regularly and always post demos and other things. I did a small demo of the iron and show before and after pics of my hair. I will insert pics from my snap here too. not the videos tho. Sorry...

after two, three uses I been completely obsessed. This flat iron gives me a salon quality results. Straight my hair within minutes, minutes! I remember my old iron i was waiting 15 min for it to heat up.
I like that it didn't burn my hair. It left my hair shiny and silky soft, Yes1 this flat iron did just that. Even the ends were in much better shape then before! Another thing that I really like is that LED bar. It shows you temperature that you can control by pressing up or down button. I like my temperature on 410f/210C. The CHI Onyx Euroshine comes with a thermal mat that you can put the iron while in use. I also have to mention that I LOVE the long cord! My plug is far form the mirror and now with that long cord I can straighten my hair so easy! WooHoo!

Now before I even start straightening my hair I always always have to brush it through. I use Not Your Mother's KnottY To Nice spray dangler  for easier brushing. Then I spray my favorite Thermal Spray by InstaNatural. Then I separate my hair and start the straightening process. Afterwords I use Savannah Hair Care Shea Butter Treatment Oil on all over my hair and White Sands 24/7 serum on my ends along with White Sands Smudge creme. I use a Crave Naturals brush. I actually have to get new brush soon :) Been eyeing few so let's see.

For now I have two skin care products and one hair care. let me tell you the hair product is a must have! but on that at the end :)

Lets start with Skin Brightening Scrub ~  its form their pro radiant line.  Facial scrub that restores youthful radiance to aging, uneven, sun damage skin. Comes in small tube (50ml/1.7oz) Under the cap there is a nice pump, which I don't have a problems with. Once you pump the orange looking product  comes out. The little exfoliation beads doing a great job at getting rid of all the dead skin cells. My skin after looks really clean and more even. Right after the redness goes away LOL. I am a bit t harsh when it comes to scrubbing. Instead of doing it gentle and I get a bit carried away LOL. Don't judge ....  I do like this little guy.

Vitamin C Facial Toner ~ Pore tightening Vitamin C Facial Toner is all in one hydrator infused with anti aging ingredients to leave skin feeling refreshed and balanced. Vitamin C in the mist helps renew skin by neutralizing UV related damage. Witch Hazel - purify oily skin and tighten pores.

Overall I really been enjoying this toner. Comes in a spray bottle (120ml/4oz) and its really easy to use. Few sprays all over my face, then I go over with a cotton round to wipe off after it been siting on my face for few seconds. Feels really light and make my skin looking refreshed. I use it twice a day (night time and day time), right before I apply moisturizer. 

I also notice that in the morning makes my makeup apply smooth and even. Also it smells great too!

Argan Oil Thermal Protector Spray ~ its a intensive blend of premium ingredients that form a powerful heat shield for the hair to keep it looking soft, hydrated and beautiful.

Now how I use it. First I spray on damp hair before I blow dry it. Once they are dry I comb them and prepare for straightening process. I usually separate my hair into 3 layers and then each layer into smaller sections. I comb through the section spray the thermal spray and comb again and go with my straightening iron.   I repeat the process until my hair is straight. I love the way my hair feels after. They are silky soft, smooth, shiny and the most important looking healthy. Even with all the oils as an ingredients I don't get greasy feeling. They also don't get frizzy much ! huge plus! 

InstaNatural Argan Oil might be the best thermal spray I ever used. I LOVE it.

April Favorites ~ Makeup and Skin Care

I just realize that I haven't post my favorites this year... And there is another post I skipped ~ "Month is Pictures" I think I should bring both of them back ? What do you think?

My April favorites will be more of my favorites since January haha! Well since I didn't post any I will include products that I been loving in past few months. 

I just want to warn you, it might be a lot :) 

Lets jump in it then :)

Makeup 

* Loreal LUMI primer ~ My Oily skin kinda likes this product. I though I would look all grease and all but nooo. It gives me a dewy look. Just let it sits for few minutes before applying foundation. Kept my foundation in place and well I like the glow once in a while , you know without feeling greasy.

* Pur Hydra Fluid Foundation ~ same here it should suit my oily skin, but once I use a matte powder all is good! It gives nice hydration to the skin and that is why I like it :) This will be perfect for summer days :) 

* Dior Air Flash Spray Foundation ~ now this is my go to!  Gives me full coverage and matte finish. I freaking love this foundation. It works the best in a colder days. I would not want to wear it during heat in the summer tho. Definitely a must have for oily skin :)

* Lunatick Cosmetics Labs ~ Mystifying Mattifying powder ~ clear, pressed powder. Gives nice matte look and won't leave a white cast on the face. I been really loving it and well the packaging is on point !

* Bella Pierre Contour and Highlight Pro Palette ~ I get so much use of this palette. 3 highlight shades and 3 bronzers. Highlight shades are great to set the concealer and to highlight face and 2 bronzers are great to contour with. 

* N.Y.Color Sunny Bronzer ~ at first I thought it might be to dark but it is great to just warm up my face. I don't use it for contouring it is too warm for that.  

* Makeup Revolution Vivid Bake Highlight ~ One of my go to highlights. I am a highlight junkie and I like to glow to the moon and back :) I been really enjoying this one and the other below.

* Colourpop highlight in Lunch Money ~ cream highlight. Gives me a nice golden sheen which I been loving so much :) the best way to apply is with your finger :)

* Colourpop Blush in Between The Sheets ~ this blush  beautiful!you  guys if you ever order form colourpop get this blush :) Its gorgeous muted pink-coraly-brown, that looks just beautiful on. I use stippling brush to apply. 

* PUR Fully Charged Mascara ~ holy grail ladies! I am in love! this mascra rocked my world! My lashes never looked better I am telling you. I will have a full review soon. I have to take few more pics ":)

* MBA Cosmetics single eye shadow Aruba and Angel Kiss ~ Angel kiss is my most used one.on a days that I am rushing I just apply all over my eye lid and I am ready to go. Aruba is gorgeous metallic shade that I am obsessed with. I will have more on it soon :)

* Coastal Scents Z palette ~ CS hot pots! OMG the pigment !!! They are amazing! I will have soon more of it, like swatches and review. The post is in writing :) so stay tuned

* L'oreal La Palette Lip ~ ummmm the best lip palette ever! I did a review on it a while back . check here.  

* Milani Rose Femme Lipstick ~ I been rocking this baby on my lips for a past month. Brownish mauve that should be suited more for Fall season and not Spring LOL. But what the hell I love it all year round :)

* NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Zurich ~ NYX lip creams are amazing! Beautiful dusty rose that is your perfect everyday wear :)

* Vintage Cosmetics Lip Gloss ~ who would I be if I didn't add some sparkle to my lips huh ? Vintage Cosmetics lip gloss in Rosebud gives me a gorgeous shimmery lips :)  Sometimes I wear it over a lipstick and sometimes alone :) Depends on my mood :)

Skin Care

* Insta Natural Acne Face Wash ~ I have if for about few weeks and I really been liking it :) Cleans really nice, my skin feels soft and smooth. Keeps acne at bay. Love the fresh citrusy scent as well. I will have a review soon on Insta Natural skin care.

* Amarte Wonder Cream ~ Amarte is luxury Korean brand. When I say luxury I mean it. I really love their overnight express, and recently I tried Wonder cream and well I love it :) I really like that it leaves my skin feeling smooth and calm. Absorbs quick and don't leave a greasy feeling. Review on my Amarte Skin Care line soon :)

* Pixi Hydrating Milky Mist ~  deeply hydrating, smells good what more can I expect? Love the mist pump. Goes so well in pair with Hydrating Milky Serum. Once I spray on my face I like to pat it down and follow up with serum and viola I am ready to go :)

*SkinDeva Hyaluronic Acid ~ Serum that I apply twice a day. Clear, absorbs quick. Leaves my skin soft and smooth and whats important hydrated. Its an anti-aging skin treatment that keeps wrinkles at bay. I don't have wrinkles yet but oh men I really like this stuff. I do feel like my skin got a bit more firm though. :)

* Dr.Brandt Oxygen Facial Mask ~ When I feel like my skin feels tired and dull I use this mask and it fix it up right away :) I been loving it and this one of the best masks on the market. Full review here.

* Victoria's Secret Body Lotion "Total Attraction" ~ love the amazing floral scent ~ bright freshness of cherry orchid and lily blossom. I actually am a big fan of Bath and  body Works lotions but this one I got as a gift a while back and OMG it smells amazing and my skin feels really nice!

* Savannah Shea Butter Treatment Oil ~ I received a huge box of Savannah Products back in February and this one is so far my favorite!  I love to apply it on my hair after I am done with straightening. My hair feels amazing! They look glossy and feel silky soft. It didn't weigh down my hair or anything , plus it smells wonderful. Again review on their hair care line soon. :)

* Essence Nail Art Express Nail Drops ~ Hello Lover! hahah! this product is awesome girls! It does help with drying my nails. I been using every time I paint my nails :)
