I dyed my hair PINK...Twice!

Hi loves! Sorry for not being here all these weeks, my daughter spilled water on my laptop and it died. Right now I am laptop less and looking for a new one ;) I will try ti get back to my regular posting asap :) As I have so much fun products that I need to share my thoughts with all of you.

Ok so this is a little more funner post :) Last  month i decided to change my hair color. I was blonde for over 15 years. and 15 yrs is a long time. I dyed my hair every month and the white blode I had before I had my daughter ... ummm 10 yrs ago .. I could never get it back. My hair looked all brassy and yellow and ugh just no. 

One time like 2 yrs ago I bought a different color, more like a professional thing that hairdresser would use when you doing your hair professionally. But hey I had long hair back then and price I would have to pay would be enormous so no no. 

I made it myself I burned my hair but hey the color looked really nice. I was continue doing it until they closed down the store I was getting it from. So back I went to my Revlon. 

Also 2 + yrs ago I bought Unicorn Hair by Lime Crime. It was at IMATS. And I totally forgot about it until last month. I was like thats it I need to try it and see how it will look. 

I had my sister in law do it for me one Sunday. annnnnddddd I like it! such a fun change! I adored the color! My hair was this rosey-pinky color that looked so good! But after 3rd wash it was Fading away unfortunately. I really would love to have it a permanent version of that color.

 But any who there it came the 4 wash and I hated my color! So i went out to CVS and start looking and thinking I will get Revlon again and just go back to blonde, but then something else caught my eye.

Schwarzkop Got 2 Be Pretty in Pink Creative semi permanent hair dye. It was a bright pink that I could make a pastel. So im like why not. lets try it. I came home, my hair was already washed so that a plus. I mixed not even half of the tube with conditioner and start applying. I kept it on my head for 20-30min and then wash it off :)

GUYS the color was intense! I actually liked it. Such a fun bright pink color! It looked really good especially on my lighter hair. I really do enjoy it and guess what I still have more then half tube left! Which is awesome! coz one pack that cost $13 can last for atleast 4 application :)

* Refreshing Coconut Clean Dry Conditioner ~ I adore Marc Anthony's  Coconut line. Seriously the dry shampoo is one of the best on the market. And now a dry conditioner! like what?  it gives an instant hydration, refreshes blow outs and revives natural curls by locking it moisture. This weightless dry conditioner removes frizz, leaving hair touchably soft and with incredible smoothness. It has nice fresh coconut scent and really adds shine to my hair. Spray from roots to the ends and brush it :) Nicely refreshed hair, here you go. 

Essential ingredients: Abyssiniam Oil and Vitamin E.

I haven't see this one on Ulta but I guess CVS might have it. Not sure of the price but I believe it should cost between $8-$9. 

* Strengthening Grow Long Dry Shampoo Foam ~  this quick drying, water-less cleaning foam removes buildup and excess product. Leaves hair feeling freshly cleansed and refreshed with extra volume. Perfect for second, third, fourth day hair. 

Personally I have not yet try this one and the one I will mention after it. It does sound like a awesome product but uhmmm reviews on ulta website don't sound so good. We will see :)

* Strengthening Grow Long Texture Spray ~ this lightweight dual purpose spray, can prep the hair for styling or can be used as a finishing spray for effortless tousled texture with modern matte finish. Big on volume with lasting results, extends your just-styled look a day or two. Ugh I don't know I am not fan of any spray as they just glue my hair together and make them so heavy and so gross. you know like the hair spray from 90's that my mom used to use. You spritz some on your hair and nothing will budge them. Bu then you need to wash them coz the spray basically glue your hair.  I think this might be a slightly different spray. I not sure have't try it yet. But lets see how it will work on my hair this week.

Beauty Favorites 2017 ~ March

yes! I am keeping my monthly game strong so far! I haven't miss a month hahah!

better late than never :) I am already planning my April Faves hahah! there is so many products I been loving ! 

Let's just jump to my favorites :) I have few products to mention :)

MAKEUP 

Let start with a glow! Oh guys I love a good highlight :) Here are two that I been using on and off past month. Pixi Beauty AspynOvard London Lustre ~ soft, velvety texture with a luminous sheen. I been obsessed with it since the first time I got my huge pr package from the brand. it looks amazing on. Second my most loved last month was by the brand 100%Pure. Gemmed Luminizer in shade Moonstone Glow, and holy moly I love it! first off the packing is gorgeous! Pink tin that hold this beauty inside. The highlight is simply stunning! Icy pink that looks really good on my fair skin. I am so grateful to Octoly and 100% Pure for choosing me to review this baby!:)

Kiss NY Pro eye shadow palette in Demeter is simply beautiful. Love the color selection. I like how they names their palettes after Greek goddesses :) I am a huge mythology fan if you didn't know :)This palette will get more use in incoming months as well :) Yes the colors are very spring like in my opinion :) ELF Cosmetics Lip Exfoliate~ after winter my lips are in super bad condition. I been  using ELF's exfoliate few times a week hahah! seriously tho for a price this gem does a great job at removing dead skin cells from lips and leaves them soft. Once i am done I reach for Milani's Moisture Lock oil infused lip treatment. Now I heard so many mixed reviews but I like it. Add shine and well after exfoliating my lips add moisture. 

SKIN CARE

L'Occitane Immortelle Oil makeup remover, this stuff is amazing! I been using it on and off and I still go back to it. The best oil makeup remover. As you can see I am almost half way done with it hahha! two pumps and all my makeup is gone. It don't leave a greasy residue and it won't make your eyes blurry. SebaMed Face and Body Wash, well for me is just a face wash. I like it. very gentle and cleans away all the dirt and left over makeup, works great with my Soniclear Petitte by Michael's Todd beauty. This brush is life! You can check a review that I posted few days ago :) Hydrating Milky Mist by Pixi Beauty, if you don't have you , you have to run and get it. I can not live with out this! I spray it before makeup and after and few times during the day :) a must have for me :) did I mention its really lightweight and smells amazing? I just received a pr from PIXI including all their mist, so yes stay tuned for a blog post next month., all about multi-misting :)

PERFUME

A new category ? why not. two my most loved fragrances are by Estee Lauder -Modern Muse  La Rouge and Modern Muse  La Rouge Gloss. To be honest I can't pick my favorite out of the two. Both smell amazing. 

Modern Muse La Rouge Gloss is more fruity and La Rouge is more rosy-berry vanilla kind of scent. I actually will be getting another Modern Muse perfume very soon. So I might write a post next month on it. I will own 4 bottles so I can compare and tell you which I like the most :)

HAIR CARE

I have not change much in my hair routine. But there are few products and tools I been loving for a past few months. Bio Silk Straighting Titanium Iron, this a new launch for Bio Silk and you guys so worth every penny! Straights my long, really long hair fast and it makes them look so beautiful! Before I start with it I use Bio Silk Thermal Mist or Living Proof Mist. I find both working really good on my hair :) and yes I like them both :) Madam CJ Walker Bressica Seed Hair Oil is a MUST HAVE! I been putting it on my hair every other day and I see so many changes! my hair is not as dry as before and they feel silky soft and look healthy!

I have super delays in posting. As few of you know I work full time and I do blogging mostly weekend. One of my co workers left for Vacation for 3 weeks and some one had to replace her and do her job. Yes that someone was me. I was basically doing 3 jobs at ones. Now, hair care and new additions to my hair care family.

I didn't see much change in a hair color. My hair did feel clean and soft :) Shampoo lathers up pretty well for sulfate-free formula. I do like when shampoo lather up. My final thoughts on the BioSilk Titanum tools is that both are amazing. Before i start using BioSilk blow dryer I was using CHI one and I tell you I like this one better :) I still continue to use CHI as well. I keep BioSilk next to my vanity and CHI is in a bathroom :) 

Both the dryer and the flat iron are really lightweight. They both work great on my hair and they are fast. By that I mean the dryer dry hair withing minutes and the iron straightens my hair withing minutes. I say I need less than 30min to get ready and note that i have a long hair. Both come with 2 fl oz Hot Thermal Protectant  Mist. 

 Not only it smells amazing but it actually keep my hair safe from the heat. 

Another great product is Silk Therapy Thermal Shield , oh my this smells soooooo freaking good! I just want to spry it on my hair all the time. It does protect my hair from all the hot tools and it makes them look all shiny and healthy. I use this right before I start with flat iron. I spray a good amount of it onto my hair and start styling my hair. It can be used on a wet hair but I personally dislike it. I feel like my hair is harder to comb through. Once my hair is dry I spry comb and then go over with flat iron. This is the way I like it the best. 

CHI Rose Hip Hair Care

Ok so I have never try any hair care products from CHI. I do use their styling tools daily but never hair care. 

I recently go their new line Rose Hip and I love it. First off the scent is amazing. When i sprayed dry shampoo on my hair, my daughter walked to the room and asked what spray I used coz she want to smell same. It does smells delicious.
What is rose hip oil? Well rose hip oil comes form the seeds (of specific verity of roses) which are the fruit left behind after the rose have flowered and dropped its petals. Rose Hip Oil is harvested from the seeds and its vitamins, antioxidants and essential fatty acids that are known to be very beneficial to skin and  hair.
The whole line is great for color treated hair, rose hip oil, vitamin C and antioxidants prevents color loss and increase shine :)

The key ingredients in the line:

* Rose Hip Oil ~ easy absorbing oil that aids in preventing of color fading.
* Silk~ helps strengthen and protect hair cuticles
 * Vitamin C and Antioxidants ~ rejuvenate hair and offers a color boost.

Comes with pump so it is really to use. You don't have to turn the bottle upside down and squeeze shampoo. On my long hair I use few pumps. I am afraid that i might run out soon LOL.

* Color Nature protecting conditioner ~ restore moisture into color treated hair and eliminate dull and dry hair. Same as a shampoo it comes in a bottle with pump. The consistency i a bit thicker then my other conditioner. I usually apply conditioner and hair mask same time and leave it on my hair for 5-10min. After my hair become super soft and manageable.

* Color Nature Recovery Treatment ~ helps to replenish moisture and strength hair with vitamin c and antioxidants that help reduce dryness and breakage while restoring hair. I use it after conditioning. I towel dry my hair a bit and apply treatment to my hair and wait for another 5min and then rinse with water.

* Color Nature Repair and Shine Leave-In Tonic ~ adds moisture, shine and  strengths week color treated hair. This can be used on dry or wet hair. I use it on dry. Feel like it works better for me. I tried on wet and I didn't like it. I don't apply too much on my hair. Just few sprays here and there.

* Color Nature Dry Shampoo ~ helps extend life of hair color and style by removing excess oil and eliminate odors in between shampooing. This by far is my favorite product. What can I say I am a sucker when it comes to dry shampoo. I love them all. Dry shampoos are a staple in my hair care. I try not to wash my hair so often so in between when my hair look greasy I spray dry shampoo :) This one smells amazing you guys! I didn't notice any white residue left in my hair. My hair is blonde so it would be hard to see. I try on my daughters hair and nothing. I really been loving it :)

* Color Nature Dry UV Protecting Oil~ finishing mist help maintain color radiance with UV protecting ingredients. Love the smell of this again. I love how beautiful my hair are after I spray it. They shiny and healthy. I use it after all my straightening/ styling done. It don't leave my hair greasy, or sticky. This and dry shampoo are my faves for he whole line :)

Overall I love this line. If you have color treated hair that need help try CHI Rose Hip Oil line :) I know you can get them at Ulta Beauty  (there is a sale at the moment so go and check it out ) and some other web places like Loxa Beauty and Farouk System.

Madam CJ Walker Brassica Seed, Jamaican Black Castor and Coconut Hair Oils

You know my love for Madam CJ Walker hair products. I really like them and they do work great on my hair.

Recently I got to try hair oils. 

Now I love hair oils, they are my staple in my hair care. Not all of them are good tho. Some make you hair really greasy and weight them down. But these by Madam CJ Walker are simply great. 

I love how my hair feels after and most f all they smell amazing.

Brassica Seed Oil

An Alternative to silicone, Brassica Seed Oil smooths, silken and moisturize while adding incredible shine. Contains notes of spun sugar and red velvet. Or let just say it smells like marshmallows ;) Really lightweight and don't weight-down my hair. It hydrates and softens heat styled hair. Adds incredible shine and luster. Refreshes hair with sweet scent. Guys i love scent of this oil. If you have ARI by Ariana Grande this smells exactly same. This one is my go to oil. I been using it the most and God I love it. 

Coconut Oil

Deeply nourishes hair, fast absorbing and lightweight. It softens hair and adds shine to it. The best of all fight frizz. And yes my hair gets frizzy. So yeah if your hair gets frizzy all the time try this oil. Plus coconut oil is very popular as well as it benefit. 

I been putting this oil in my daughter hair and she loves the combo of coconut and vanilla scent. Her hair gets silky soft and shiny. She loves and so do I. 

Jamaican Black Castor Oil

this one is great to hydrate dry curs and scalp. Smells amazing , lovely notes of amber and musk make great and yummy composition.It hydrates, helps hair to grow, add shine and scent to hair. I admit I used this one once. I have t give it more love soon. 

All Oils are amazing. If you fan of adding oil to you hair make sure to give a try to Madam CJ Walker Oils. They are in my top 5 of the best oils I ever used on my hair.  I always use them after styling my hair. Add to few pumps of oil to your hand, rub them together and work them into you hair. you can see ad feel difference right away. Hair gets softer, silky smooth and shiny. They do look more healthy and omg smells amazing.

Hair Care New In ~ Madam CJ Walker and Dafni Hair

Well hello there after my long break. Sorry, due to upcoming Jewish holidays we had to work overtime and Sundays. So with only Saturday off I really didn't have time to blog. 

But now I am back so get ready for some new posts!

Let's start with some new hair care products I got recently. 

 Madam CJ Walker Blow Out Creme ~ As you follow and read my blog you know I been really enjoying Madam CJ Walker products. New addition to my small but growing collection is their blow out creme. First thing I love that the packaging is pink, so cute! This heat protective creme is simply great. If you use a hoot tools such as hair dryer and flat iron or even iron brush the Brassica Seed and Shea Oils Silkening Collection is what you need, The products are formulated for silky, soft finish. Each featuring a tempting blend of spun sugar and red velvet creme. Brassica Seed is a natural alternative to silicone, provides smoothness and luster without weighing down the hair or creating buildubs. Did you know that brassica seed oil is also known as a broccoli?  Shea Oil hydrates ad deeply conditions hair without leaving it looking and feeling greasy. It provides a great heat protection.

I apply this cream right before I reach for my blow dryer. The consistency is rather runny. Thought it would be like a actual creme. I use a lot LOL I really need to cut my hair soon. After blow drying my hair are soft and there is not frizz. I hate frizz... Easy to brush and easy to style :) What more can we ask for? I am so excited to talk about this product it is DAFNI Hair Straightening  Ceramic  Brush. This is the brush that will straighten your hair fast and easy! I am so impressed with it and been using it a quite a lot. Perfect BFF in the morning. I can only be use on a dry and combed/brushes hair. So after I finished blow drying I brushed my hair with regular brush, plug this  baby in and wait for it to heat up. When you plug the button in the middle lights up red, then flashes. Once its steady green you good to go.

The best way to brush is to :
* first separate hair, like with straightening iron, start with small section  at the time.
* Second place brush under the hair and hold it tight and make sure all the hair is in the brush
* third  brush slowly in pulling motion.

Try to keep brush a bit longer on the ends to make them straight.
Dafni makes hair straight, but if you want you hair to be more straight use flat iron on top of it. Most of the time I use my CHI flat iron, first and then in following days especially in the morning I go over with Dafni brush and I am ready to go. This brush really straight hair fast and easy. 1,2,3 and I'm ready to go. Hair look beautiful, sleek and shiny. The unique 3D ceramic surface design allows straighten air in minutes simply by brushing it. Heats up to 365F, which is a safer and healthier temperature. Another great thing about this brush is that it can be use close to the scalp, without burning your skin. All day curls with Madam CJ Walker and White Sands

Yes another post on hair care. Are you bored already? No then keep on reading and find out how I keep my hair curly all day. 

Summer is ending and I will go back to my usual hair style , which is straight hair. Summer time i rarely use hot tools that is why most of the time my hair is wavy/curly. I like to air dry. 

But well my curls don't last too long. by the end of the day you can see how  dull they look. 

I found solution in two products I been recently send. 

Madam CJ Walker Defining Butter Creme and White Sands Infinity Finishing Spray.

Madam CJ Walker Defining Butter creme is created for more curlier hair then my, but somehow it did worked well. Rich formula absorbs quickly and seals in moisture. Jamaican Castor oil moisturize and revitalizes hair and scalp. Murumuru oil makes hair manageable and soft. I actually like my hair after. They felt soft and curls were fine. plus it kept my hair frizz free (big thumbs up for that). I used it on damp hair and then  like I mention before I let it air dry. I was happy with the look of the curls :) Overall Madam CJ walker products are great for when I need my hair curly. If you have a really curly/coily hair try this! you will be happy with the results and the look of your hair. Plus it smells good! It have a notes of amber and musk and I been loving it.

To keep my curls curly all day I went over with White Sands Infinity Finishing  Spray.  what i like about it is that is not sticky like all other sprays. Don't you just hate that? this spray is truly awesome . im not a big on spray, coz I find them leaving my hair plastic looking and you know they are really sticky! I hate hate hate when my hair feels like that. I didn't notice anything like that with white Sands Infinity spray. it hold my curls in place the whole day, it did control the frizz and it did make my hair looking shiny. Gives firm hold but I can still run my fingers or brush run thru my hair.Hands down the best hair spray out there! Thanks White Sands for sending it to me and making me addicted ! Plus it does have a nice scent to it :)

Got some new hair care products that I want to talk about :) Love trying out new hair care products and see how my reacts to it. So far they don't complain :) 

In the mail I received three new hair care products and I really been linking all of them.

Before washing hair massage  this into the scalp  using fingertips and let it sit for 15 minutes. Rinse and follow with a shampoo and conditioner. This treatment supposed to removes all buildup and fakes form the scalp. And does it really work? I believe it does! 

I actually have a dry skin/flakes right on my hair line - Forehead. Especially on the right side I notice a white flakes that I could get rid off! Shampooing didn't help. And if I scratched it, it would just fall down in white snow ... you know what I mean? That is the reason I wanted to try this Wonderful Scalp Exfoliator and see if it can help me remove the flakes. After first I notice them gone... but not all. So after third time I can say I'm free of those white flakes! Woohoo. My scalp also feels better. Less itchy, hence the flakes are gone  :)

. And I feel after these 3 times I am running really low. My hair is long and I guess my head is big LOL ! I used a lot of product so for three/four times to spend $32 is no no for me. I guess if you have less hair (shorter hair) it might last you for longer, or maybe I put to much ?  Anyways I do like the product, it did help me with the flakes but just the price point is way to much for me to spend (now ..maybe later I can who knows). 

If you have scalp problem try this one out :) Did I mention that it smells amazing?  It does have a notes of warm vanilla and white flower. It really smells delightful.

I been really enjoying this mist. I kept my hair curly for a week just to see how it would work. I sprayed it on third day and I my co worked notice .... shine! Actually my UPS guy asked me what did I do to my hair ? I asked him what did he mean by that ? He said that they look shiny! ooooo Yes that's the new refresher mist i been trying out! wow so I guess it works! 

After third and fourth day I sprayed evenly on my hair and run my fingers threw to separate curls and make them look more presentable. Another thing I notice was less frizz. Hurray! White Sands Texture Smudge Creme ~ just look how cool looking product this is. This water-based styling and finishing product. Perfect on wet and dry hair. It can be use to texture or straighten hair.  I used it both ways for straightening and it help me with my curls as well. At first I was scared of the intense color but no worries once you apply to hair it is colorless. Since its water based it really lightweight and it wont make your hair flat looking or greasy. I personally prefer it for styling. I put a small amount of creme on my hand, rub them together and style my curls (I do it on a damp hair) and then let it air dry. It did control frizz a bit as well. Overall this product is good. I prefer to use it on curls then my straight hair though.

Comes in small tube (50ml/1.7oz) Under the cap there is a nice pump, which I don't have a problems with. Once you pump the orange looking product  comes out. The little exfoliation beads doing a great job at getting rid of all the dead skin cells. My skin after looks really clean and more even. Right after the redness goes away LOL. I am a bit t harsh when it comes to scrubbing. Instead of doing it gentle and I get a bit carried away LOL. Don't judge ....  I do like this little guy.

Vitamin C Facial Toner ~ Pore tightening Vitamin C Facial Toner is all in one hydrator infused with anti aging ingredients to leave skin feeling refreshed and balanced. Vitamin C in the mist helps renew skin by neutralizing UV related damage. Witch Hazel - purify oily skin and tighten pores.

Overall I really been enjoying this toner. Comes in a spray bottle (120ml/4oz) and its really easy to use. Few sprays all over my face, then I go over with a cotton round to wipe off after it been siting on my face for few seconds. Feels really light and make my skin looking refreshed. I use it twice a day (night time and day time), right before I apply moisturizer. 

I also notice that in the morning makes my makeup apply smooth and even. Also it smells great too!

Now how I use it. First I spray on damp hair before I blow dry it. Once they are dry I comb them and prepare for straightening process. I usually separate my hair into 3 layers and then each layer into smaller sections. I comb through the section spray the thermal spray and comb again and go with my straightening iron.   I repeat the process until my hair is straight. I love the way my hair feels after. They are silky soft, smooth, shiny and the most important looking healthy. Even with all the oils as an ingredients I don't get greasy feeling. They also don't get frizzy much ! huge plus! 

InstaNatural Argan Oil might be the best thermal spray I ever used. I LOVE it.
