Summer to Fall Perfume Transitions ~ Viva La Juicy and Poison Girl

As you already know I love perfumes. What can I say I like to smell good, who doesn't? 

In this post I want to talk about my two new perfumes. Well not so new but still new.  One that I been using in a summer a quite a lot and one I been saving for Fall, but I was still using in the summer haha. 

Viva La Juicy by Juicy Couture have been on my wishlist forever. Ever since my friend gifted me a tiny rollerball one for Christmas years ago I always wanted a full size of it. These perfumes are so me! girly and sexy at the same time. What caught my eye? The most gorgeous bottle! You know, that crystal cap with fuchsia pink bow and a chain with Juicy logo. Ummm Yes it is perfect and it looks stunning on a dressing table, Aside from the bottle the fragrance is to die for!

 Feminine sweet fruity floral. At first spritz you get hit by fruity scent that dries down to sweet flowery-vanilla. The scent is not overpowering or annoying. It didn't give me headache. I got a lot of compliments and people were asking m what kinda perfume is that .. well Juicy of course!  The fruity floral composition makes this perfume perfect for summer days and nights :) I am a fan! and now I will be looking into more perfumes by the brand :) and Thanks God FragranceNet.Com they are always on sale :) I think I found my signature scent :)

Long hot summer days coming to the end and we will welcome shorter and more cooler days. and with this most of women will change their perfume game. They will look for perfumes that contains amber,spices etc notes. I on the other hand found my summer to fall perfume and I think it fits perfect. The newest addition to famous Dior's Poison family ~ Poison GIrl. Fragrance launched in January 2016 and it is intended for younger lovers of this iconic brand. I personally don't call myself a lover of the brand. I own the original Poison, which I use on occasion. Other then that I didn't have a chance to look into other Poison perfumes. I heard of Poison Girl from my mom! yes! She got herself one and she love it! and she been talking a lot of it so I decided to finally give a shot and get new Poison. And guess what? I love it. They said it was intended for younger gals but to be honest anyone can pull it off.

Comes in a classic poison bottle and this one is pink :) the composition contains: sicilian bitter orange, that lead to heart of roses ( which contain May Rose and Damascena Rose). The drydown is Venezuelan tonka beans, sandalwood form Sri Lanka, almond and vanilla.  Pure oriental sweetness.
I actually love Vanilla scents for fall and winter. Also I have to say that this perfume reminds me very much of YSL Black Opium. So for sure will be my favorite coz let me be honest Black Opium is my fave!

Glam Princess by Vera Wang ~ New favorite Perfume

My newest purchase Glam Princess By Vera Wang. Truly Glam :) I already own Rock Princess, which I talk more about here. 

Compared to Rock Princess, Glam Princess is sweeter and more day time. Rock princess is more of a night scent. 

Anyways I am a big fun of Vera's Princess Fragrances and cant wait to add more to my collection. I don't know about you but I love perfumes. 

Glam Princess is 4th Princess released in Princess collection. She is sweet and adorable. I actually am not a fan of sweet perfumes but she reminds me a bit of Ari, you know that sweet marshmallow note :) but it is not as sweet as Ari.  It is crispier and have a freshest of fruits in it. 

Top Notes: Crushed Red Berries, Guava, Sparkling Pear

Heart Notes: Orange Blossom. Vanilla Orchid

Base Notes: Ambrette, Marshmallow, Cashmere Woods

The scent is amazing. I been really enjoying it. Not overpowering.As soonest you spay it opens with burst so sparkling fruits.The  dry down trail is a mix of cashmere woods and vanilla marshmallow. I just wish the scent would stay a bit longer... I been carrying it with me to reapply :) Call me crazy but men this fragrance is something! 

Now can we talk about bottle? All I can say it is a fairy tale come to life. I have to say this reminds me so of Belle form Beauty and the Best. Right?? Heart shaped bottle is yellow just like a Belle's famous dress. Then we have a gold crown with multicolored gems. Again like with a rock princess once you take a crown off there is a ring that you can wear :) What else I love about the bottle are the pink stars :) and the box itself is a keeper :) Definitely I need to display it.

yes I am a huge fan of this scent. Its glam and magical. This could be a great scent for any teenage girl. It might be a bit to sweet for older ladies but hey I am almost 30 and I am digging it :0

I remember spraying it few weeks ago.I took a picture of it and made a note to pick for my hubby one of the days. And what better then occasion then Father's Day? I am obsessed with this fresh, citrusy fragrance. Its an explosion of energy, magnetic passionate blend of fresh woods with wave of citrus notes on top and cucumber at the base. Definitely a keeper. I think this will suite a "active" guys who like sports, just like name suggests. My personal Favorite out of three.

Versace ~ Signature (Gift Set)

This one on the other hand is Hubby's favorite. The smell is nice, fresh and tangy. Its great for this time of year because of citrusy notes. Perfect for any time wear. Hubby loves it and that is important. The notes of Versace Signature include fresh scent that is prefect combination of jasmine, musk, moroccan cedar wood and azalea. This is a very nice smelling cologne and it does reminds me of one of the colognes my dad used to have. But I don't remember which.

Jimmy Choo 'Illicit' and Valentino 'Valentina' ~perfume luxury

Let's talk luxury. Perfume luxury. Who doesn't want to smell like million bucks?:) 

Today I want to share my thoughts on  Jimmy Choo and Valentino perfumes.

Let's start with beautifully seductive and tenting ~ Illicit by Jimmy Choo.

Opens up with notes of bitter orange and ginger. The dry down is warm blend of honey with floral elements. Love the honey - amber notes. Perfume is on a sweet side which I been loving at the moment. Illicit stay on my skin all day. No kidding, I could still smell reaming woodsy smell after 12h since spraying them on. 

The bottle and the packaging are gorgeous. Looks really luxurious on my vanity. inspired by art deco crystal glass tumbler with the yellow juice inside ... ah in love.

Valentino 'Valentina' ~ is it me or this perfume is perfect  for Valentines day? What  I love the most is the bottle. Look how gorgeous it is . Floral decorations of pink and ivory flowers :) It just makes this bottle super classy and luxurious.  Perfume is a composition of floral -fruity- oriental mix. Its delicate, elegant and fun. Reminds me of summer in Poland, yes that strawberry note got me. And I am a fan of strawberries. The scent is not overpowering. Opens up with notes of Cambrian bergamot which gives a fresh opening. Later you can trace notes of Jasmine, Rose  and Strawberries.  The dry down is warm sensual amber. I really like the perfume, but it don't last long : ( such a shame :( and another thing is the plastic cap. Why plastic... it really cheap made and it don't go well with the luxurious looking bottle. I say if you want to give a shot to Valentina get her, she is sweet and fruity and I hope it will last longer on you then it does on me. She is a stunner for sure.

Thierry Mugler " Alien" is it worth the hype?

Let's talk about a perfume that are basically everywhere. I swear everywhere I turn I see them, I hear girls talking about it and saying how much they love them . 

Thierry Mugler- Alien perfume is it really worth the hype around them ? Let's see.
This perfume been around for years ( lunched in 2005, yes I did my research), and why am I hearing of them now? no cross that, why am I getting them now?!? I should have own them years ago!
I know my hubby's cousin she love them! She said that Alien is her all time Fave! and she can not wear anything else. I actually bump into them at Sephora month ago. It wasn't the love at first scent, tho. I was walking around with a paper that I spray and just smelling. It was strong that all I could say. Then I put it in my pocket and went home.

Now as soonest I came home, Snow smelled them! hahah! she asked me why I smell like Alien ? Yeah sounds weird huh? I pulled out the paper and OMG they smelled even better! Woody-musky scent yes baby I am hooked! Plus all the time you can smell Jasmine. This perfume is nothing like any other . It can be consider manly and overpowering and I agree, but they are wonderful!
It opens up with a very strong note of Jasmine. Later Jasmine makes space for Cashmeran, which gives to Alien this woody-musky, earth scent. The dry down is my fave. Woody-Vanilla with noticeable notes of Jasmine. As you can tell Jasmine is the main note. SO if you don't like jasmine , you will not like Alien.

Now can we talk about the bottle for a second? How freaking cool it is? Reminds me of a amethyst or even outer space object.
But the longer I look at the bottle it reminds me of Princess Amethyst of Gemworld ( DC Comics Superhero). This perfume would suit her really well! since she is from different planet, that makes her an alien right :) And her name is Amethyst and amethyst is purple, so there you go :)

Yup, as you read it all the hype is real.I am obsessed with Alien. Alien is unique and different. Alien is spectacular. And I freaking love it!
Now I am off to listen some Alien songs :) Katy Perry "E.T" coz Thierry Mugler Alien it is hypnotizing and totally different dimension.

Chloe ~ ever since I saw the gorgeous display at Macy's years ago I was be-spelled. I know  I took a pic but can't find it :( Sorry. Chloe for me is one of the luxurious perfumes. Captured in a gorgeous square bottle with a bow. FlowerBomb ~ V & R

Another classic! I been wanting them for a quite a while. Flowerbomb is a must have for sure and it makes a perfect gift for any occasion. Just like the name suggest its a explosion of flowers :) Feminine and classy. I was hooked form the first spray. It opens by strong but refreshing notes of tea and bergamot.  then its time for more flower notes of Jasmine, Freesia and Orchid. The dry down is musky patchouli and ambery-vanilla trace, oriental scent. 

The bottle was design to look like an actual bomb :) a diamond grenade. I really like the look of the bottle. And the box it came with, Pink with back ribbons and flower :) Looks beautiful!

Rock n Roll ~ Rock Princess inspired post

Hi Loves!

This post is inspired by few things I got form FragranceNet.com.

I been thinking of it for a quite some time. Getting things ready that is totally different story LOL. 

My lack of time lately delays everything! But finally I can post my Rock Princess Inspired Post and Look :) Sorry I couldn't find the Princess crown anywhere ...ooops! I will do a brief review of each product and the look will be at the end.

So like I said post was inspired by mostly Vera Wang ~ Rock Princess Perfume :) And what goes better with it then Balm Jovi by The Balm? and to finish my look I went for bright fuchsia pink YSL Lipsticks :) Because Princess only likes luxury on her lips :) 

The Balm ~ Balm Jovi Palette 

My love for Jon Bon Jovi is real you guys, if you know me personally you know how much I love this guy! Well my friends know coz they always messaging me pics of him :) and yeah that totally makes my day :) I am not gonna lie I been wanting this palette for god know how long. Jon is the reason why I been Needing this palette! hahah! Bon Jovi palette, that's how I like to call it. My favorite video is "you want to make a memory" OMG Jon is so freaking hot I literally melt...  

What I like about this palette is that is inspired by Rock'N'Roll. Each eyeshadow is names after a rock band :) I love most of the bands :) Metallica, Iron Maiden, Lead Zeppelin, Alice Copper, etc.
This Rockstar Palette is truly amazing! Any rock fan you need to have it, just saying. Also can we talk about the packaging how freaking awesome it is!?! Love the the po bright colors, the guitar with angles wings surrounded by flames, so prefect! Inside you have a heart shaped mirror with wings around it! this is so 90s tho! I remember seeing heart like this everywhere.
Then we have 12 gorgeous eye shadow shades, highlight ( resembles Mary Lou) and a blush :)At the bottom two lip colors Milly ~ Nude and Vanilly ~ Red.

Vera Wang~ Rock Princess

Vera's perfumes are classics! This dark floral-fruity composition is a perfect perfume to go with my Rock Princess Look:)

YSL ~ Rouge Pur Couture La Fuchsia  #19

I got my form Limited Kiss & Love Edition. the lipstick is housed in a traditional gold YSL packaging with cute little red lip mark on the cap. Super adorable! The outside packaging (box) is covered with Red Kiss Lips :) What I love the most is the Lips stamps on actual lipstick bullet!
La Fuchsia is described as bright magenta with purple undertones! Damn1 what a color! wears comfortably, opaque in one swipe. If you familiar with YSL lipstick you know there is a scent to them. The scent don't bother me much :) And well YSL is my weakens :)

Yankee Candle ~ Lemon Lavender

Hi Loves!

Ok I have to admit I am a candle junkie :) Love candles , guess like any other girl. Love burning them, especially Fall/Winter  time, feels so comforting. Yes, I know we are in spring already :) But, come on I bet ya you to burn candles this time too :) Right?!

I was so happy to see that my favorite shopping destination website carry large selection of Yankee Candles. Yes, you guess! I am talking about FragranceNet.com.  Yankee Candles been on my wishlist for a quite some time. I actually never find them around me.  I actually I did find few but... Once in Marshall's I found one that I really wanted but it was broken, second time I saw few in Kohl's but the price scared me off. So while browsing their candle section I found YC and omg I right away picked Lemon Lavender, coz I love both scents. And they were cheap! $17 for a huge jar of pure freshness! 

OMG the candle smells amazing! Blend of citrus and lavender flower. Clean and relaxing.  After pulling out the lid you can smell goodness of lemon. Lemon is the main note in this whole combo. Lavender comes in second. While burning candle smells sweet and floral. I really been enjoying this scent. Both notes work great together. This is such a perfect scent for Spring and Summer :) 

I like to burn it after I clean my apartment, then it feels clean and fresh. And I can sit down read a book or watch a show. Also even after you stop burning, you can still smell it for hours to come. 

Definitely recommend to check them out!
