Empties May - July 2014

Hi.

My very first post of empties ! yay for me ! haha , well i did have way more empty stuff but hubby throw the bag out .... so yeah ... here we go with all that was left :

• Renewal (Rite Aid brand) Blackhead removing Cleanse - got it because of the price and i was in need of something to wash my face with. The ingredients are same as in Clean & Clear Blackhead Eraser and the price difference was about $1.50... so yeah :) I did like it and i might get it again 

• Garnier Fructis Leave in conditioner Sleek and Shine - life saver for my hair! I always always use it on my damp hair , the main reason I used it , because it helps de-tangle my hair! I have curly / wavy hair and its a challenge to brush them after washing. This baby helps a lot and it don't feel heavy on my hair. I have been using it non - stop for past 6 yrs I think! I cant imagine my life with out it!

• Bath and Body Works Cranberry Twinkle Shower Gel -  shower gel form holiday collection form bath and body works. Love their shower gels , this one smells like cranberries and reminds me of a winter , but well I was using it in the spring tho. this Holidays I will be getting more

•  Haiku Kyoto Flower Shower Gel form AVON - hmmm i thought i will like it but i didn't. I really do like the packaging and it did came in set with body talk, body lotion and perfume , but I do not like it! the smell is weird and it gives me headache , too strong and too musky. I wont be getting it anymore.   

• Bath and Body works Japanese Cherry Blossom Shower gel -  this scent is my all time favorite. Love love love this one! love ho long its stays (the smell) on my body after showering!  This one for sure will be on my shopping  list next time I go to BBW.

• EOS Shave Cream - I try to love it , but i cant. its a rich non foaming shave cream and its supposed to prevent form nicks and razor bumps, well i didn't .... the scent is very pleasant and i did like the scent only . i like foaming shave creams , so i wont be getting this again.

• Secret Clinical Strength Antiperspirant / Deodorant - I love this! Its my 4 box already . and it helps me stay fresh during the day. on the box says that its s a 48h odor protection . well i used for 12 h or more and i bet it will last 48h. the only minus is the price and the amount of it in the tube. but i ill be repurchasing it again .

• Lady Speed Stick Antiperspirant / Deodorant -   don't even know why i bought it... i didn't not like it as much as i like the clinical strength ones. lets say the lasting power is about 4h.  

• Johnson-Johnson REACH Mint Waxed Floss -  I love this floss , i think its my 10 container of it! the best floss out there! and  did try few , this one is my favorite. 

• U by Kotex Pad and Tampons :) haha n know I think Im the only one who put the pad and tampons in empties hahah , i didn't see it anywhere else :) but yeah this are my favorite brand when it comes to tampons and pads ( I also like ALWAYS ).  I do love on how they all wrapped in all different colors , makes those days more fun :)

Disney Princess Collection By E.L.F

Hi ,

as some of you know elf released a Disney princess collection. So far only Ariel and Snow White are out and I am still waiting  for more. The collection is available at Walgreen's.

The packaging is amazing! and I love both and cant tell you which is my favorite yet.

Ariel Collection is hold in blue and green tones. Snow White in white and red.


Lets Start with Snow White:
The things I purchased are:

• Eye Shadows + mascara ($4.99)
• Lip Set ($4.99 contains lip stain, lip gloss and lip balm all in color red)
• Blush / Bronzer duo with a kabuki brush ($4.99)

• Two eye shadows and eyeliner ($4.99)
• Bronzer / Highlight with a kabuki brush ($4.99)

Im really looking forward more addition to this collection, Last year or two years ago ELF came out with Disney Villains, and I mad at myself for not getting it , grrrrr.

LA COLOR 'Sweet' palette ~ review and swatches

As I promise on Instagram I will do a quick review on the LA COLOR palette in SWEET I purchased last week. I know the review was supposed to be up on Sunday , but I was visiting  my friend and with lack of tie I couldn't post it.

I bought this palette kinda unplanned , I went to beauty supply store in order to buy dry shampoo and silver shampoo. When I was about to pay something on the display caught my eye .... All 3 palettes were available:

• Sweet - neutralsl colors ( the one I got)
• Haute - very bright colors
• Smokin - darker greens and blues 

Packaging:

  Let's be honest the packaging is not the best. White plastic package that can brake any time. Well You can;t except more consider the price.


Product and my thoughts:

Colors are neutrals. Contains brown, beige and golden colors. Selection of shimmers and i will call them satin matte shades. the texture is creamy, buttery, blends very easy. As for the pigmentation , well lets say its amazing! I was surprised with the colors and how pigmented they are! I used almost all expect greens , I like to keep them handy for fall season. I think the whole color range is great for fall , its has that earthy colors that suits the season of Autumn.  But any ways, I  was playing with this palette the whole week , testing and seeing how the shadows apply and how long they last.
As longest you use the any kind of primer , you will be surprised!let me tell you after i apply my physicians formula cc cream all over my face and eyelids , i went ahead and start putting on the shadows. now lets fast forward to time when i get home from work 7 pm ( note: I did my makeup before 8 am ).  And when i look in the mirror , guess what? the shadows were untouched!  no creasing no fading. and it happen every day! until one day I didn't use the primer, and shadows were not soo good after few hours i saw creasing and well it look ugly .  best way use it over primer! I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and if u ever try it i hope u will like it as much as i do! and this is my feeling about the palette and u don't have to share it , u may like it or not.

Sonia Kashuk Limited Edition 15pc Professional Brush Set Celebrating 15 years of Award Winning Brushes

Just want to share with u my new babies I picked up last week and I came to love so much! and I talking about Sonia Kashuk 15pc Brushes!
I must say it was hard to get them! There were selling like a hot cakes! There were and still are available at Target in stores and online.

the brushes are stunningly beautiful! Deep eggplant handles, gold trim and Sonia's signature, and purple bristles, which are super soft! they do work very well and i really like the softness of the bristles. Feels good when i apply my makeup. I think its a great investment , 15pcs for $40 ! I didn't see any shedding or anything  the bristles are attached good and nothing coming out hehe .

JuLy Favorites 2014

H all,

sorry I'm coming so late with my July faves. There were few things I really liked in past month.  have been using the on a daily basis. And well im pretty sure I did forgot to include few, but I will try to add the in August faves , which I will be posting at the end of the month.

1.) Secret Wonderland Body Lotion by Bath and Body Works - Smells amazing! its my second bottle and I a sad that its discontinue! I manage to get it on semi annual sale and I am hoping that I will be able to get more!

2.) Maybelline Clean Express - great eye makeup remover! it do not burn my eyes and it does have a pleasant smell :)

3.) Secret Clinical Strength Deodorant - Love this lil guy! great protection. but cons are the price and the amount of the product .

4.) Physicians Formula Super CC+ Cream - I love love love this cream, it have a great coverage. I will do one of those days a short review on it, so stay tuned.

5.) Rimmel Stay Matte Powder -  as you can see I hit a pan on it recently and I so happy. Its is a great powder that mattify my oily skin . It stays a quite a while , but I need to do a touch up during the day tho.

6) Wet and Wild Eyeshadow Trio in Walking on Eggshells - beautiful shimmery colors! found myself using it a quite often this past month. Plus i have learnd the shadows are a dupes of Mac shadows!

7) Nicka K New York Eyeshadow ND12 Deluxe - I came across this eyeshadow a while back. I bought in a one story on Broadway. It coast me $2 and I thought it not going to be that good. But oh how i was wrong! I love t so much that purchase 6 more duos in the same color! its really pigmented and it stays very very long time, i will say up to 10h. I will try to separate review on it and other shades I got form this series. 

8, 9 ) Wet and Wild Megalast lippie in Just Peachy and Rimmel Airy Fairy - these two babies I used quite a lot past moth along with NYX butter gloss , That I FORGOT to include in the pics! 

10) Nicky Minaj Pink Friday Perfume -  love the smell :)plus I think the bottle looks really cute!

Rainbow Store Small Haul

Hi!

Happy Sunday Loves!

Lets start with my small haul from Rainbow Store. I really love that store , ever since I step a foot in there  was n love! hehe  know the quality of their clothing is not as good as Gap or H&M , but still they do have a very unique designs , that I came to love! If you look inside of my closet most of my shoes , bags, and clothing is from Rainbow. Plus the prices are very good ( clearance tags  from $3 up to $12).
I did purchases few dresses last week but unfortunately it didn't fit me right and i did like it. Yesterday I went to exchange it . Here is a few things I picked up:

First is the dress that I was not sure if  will like it , but after I put on i was sold! hehe its strapless and its long ( up to ur knees), plus I love chevron print . Price $12 on sale

Second is the Minty T-shirt with a cute dog on it. Price $5

sorry my camera don't give the true color of the shirt. 

Next step , accessories! 

Picked up a Minty watch ( my old one broke and  need a new one asap hehe) and hoop earrings . Both were with 50% off tags , so final price for the watch was $4 and earrings $2.50

 


And the last , my favorite purchases of all! The Bags!
I got two, same design but different color! Yes i could't decide which to take , both colors were sooo pretty! you ladies have the same problem? cant decide and then take both colors? hahah I  do!

I took the last two colors Cobalt Blue and Burgundy, price $10 each on SALE!
I think the Burgundy one will be perfect in a Fall Season. Same goes to Blue one , perfect for now and any other season!

Summer Reads proposition - Jocelynn Drake 'Dark Days Novel'

Today's post it not a beauty related , but I hope you still will like it.

I dont know if any of you know that I am a bookworm , I love books and love reading , especially on my long commute to work and back home.

The books that I mostly reach for are fantasy, paranormal romance, and novels ( written by N. Sparks, gosh i love this guy heh ). Everything that have a paranormal , supernatural beings like witches, vampires , werewolves, angels , mermaids.

I do have a few favorite writers/authors that I love to read. But that will be in my future blogpost. I will tell you more of them plus I will mention the books that I love and why.

On this post lets concentrate on book I read in a past month or I will read in near future.

Lets start off with JOCELYNN DRAKE ' Dark Days Novel '

Quick Overview:

Mira the man character is a vampire / nightwalker,  who can control the fire ( later in the books we will find out how she can do that and who she really is ) she is called Fire Starter . Danaus is vampire hunter that is 2000 yrs old ( we will find out his story as well  in other books ).  He brings Mira new about Naturi, an elfin race that try to wipe out humans, nightwalkers and any other supernatural creature from earth.
500 yrs ago they nearly destroyed Mira  n attempt to control her and her gifts. They have been locked up by TRIAD a powerful vampires in a cage prison. But the seals holding Naturi in are about to be broken by Rowe , a Naturi who tries to free his kind and his wife-queen Aurora.
Mira has to stop Rowe , and her only help is her worst enemy The Vampire Hunter Danaus.

My thoughts :

From the first book I was really into the whole story. I wanted to know more and I wanted to know how will it all ends.  Plus There was this connection between Mira and Danaus and I just waiting for them to finally hook up! They are perfect for each other! The books overall are really good. Book 1 to 3 is from Mira's point of view , book 4  is Danaus point of view ( finally we know what does he think about the situation and his real feelings for Mira!). the last book 6 Is Mira and Nyx (about her more in the books just keep reading :) ).
