Used Up Makeup That I Love So Much I Will Repurchase

*purchased by me*

It really feels good when you hit pan on your favorite products does it?
I kinda feel like an ass coz I hit pan many many times through out the years and I don't think I took a pic or posted on my socials. Once it was done I just dumped it in the garbage and went ahead and grabbed new one.
What I can do is to take a pictures of whatever was repurchased :) Maybe I can find a pan pic? Hmmm let me check my camera feed.

For now lets talk about the picture I posted on my IG few weeks ago.

As you can see there are 3 bronzers, powder, primer and foundation.
Gosh don't let me started on how many bottles of foundation I went through out the years...

Let me start with Touch in Sol No Pore Blem Primer - omg this have become a staple in my routine. First bottle was gifted to me by my sister in law and once it was running low I repurchased it on ULTA as they had it for around $12. I need this with me at all times. And once I am done with this bottle you can be sure I will be repurchasing it.

Then we have Maybelline SuperStay 24H full coverage foundation (shade 120 Classic Ivory) - I purchased this when it first came out. The shade match was not the best, I felt like it was a bit too dark, but we don't have testers so it was kinda hard... Overall this is really good foundation. Will I repurchase once I am done with it (a tiny bit left) , not sure... They are other drugstore foundations that I like a bit more then this one ( they will be mention at the end of this post coz I did repurchase some more then once).

Cover Girl Vitalist Healthy Power (Classic Ivory) - I think this is an amazing powder. Very creamy and to my surprise it controls shine. I used a RT powder blush with this and any powder I have. I really like it, hence the huge pan I hit. I will continue using it up and I find it again I will repurchase. I believe they did discontinued this product so it will be a hassle for me to find a replacement.

Now bronzers... I am going through bronzers like they are water :) Much more so then the powders.... What can I say I lime bronzers a lot :)
The three I hit pan on and are already been thrown out are :

* Wet n Wild - Palm Beach Ready and Sunset Striptease - I love them both! I did a swatch and review a while back, here is the link. Both are so affordable and worked so well on my skin. I will be repurchasing both as soonest I can :)

* The Balm - Balm Dessert Bronzer - I bought this few years ago. It was either at Imats or Ipsy Gen Beauty. I was torn between this one and Bahama Mama. I went with Balm Dessert as it was a bit cooler and better match for me. I actually really like this bronzer and when ever Balm will have 50% off I will be getting it back and well as oone or two from the Oscar line :) Yes I been eyeing them for a quite sometime now :)

Now here are products that I did repurchased and love:
* Maybelline Fit Me Foundation - my 3rd bottle
* Loreal Infallible Foundation - 2nd bottle
* Revlon ColorStay foundation for oily/combo skin - 3rd bottle
* Wet N Wild Photo Focus powder - 2nd
YSl Primer - I went through two mini (thrown them away a while ago). Pictured three more, one is gone, second almost gone and third one full. These are minis and I love this primer. I will be getting full size one day :)

* Loreal Colour Riche Shine Lipstick in the shade Burnished Blush - completely gone. Picture show a bit left but its been gone for a while now. I haven't repurchase since but I am planning on. I was keeping it at my work and wearing it daily.

I think that's what I remember from top of my head.
I am not including mascaras in this post. There will be a whole post on that. I have a bag full of used up mascaras that I really want to write about. So stay tuned.

What is your most repurchased product?

Wet n Wild Eye Shadow Palette Swatches - Halloween 2019 *Limited Edition*

*purchased by me*

Ok so I found a new wet N wild Halloween display at my local Walgreens. By accident mostly... Ok I went hoping I can find the palettes and boy I did!
There are 4 palettes in total. Not sure if all are NEW or some are re-promotes. Sorry I don't think I bought any last year.
But you guys! Hunting this Halloween display brings out all good memories when, back few years ago everyone was "hunting"new LE Wet n Wild releases. Kinda miss those times. Right now I don't even see most of new launches. I usually get them online, month after.

But anyways here are the palettes and swatches.I hope you find this helpful and it will make you decision easier.

Lets start with my favorite:

*Coffin Break - this palette is just wow.Every shade is stunning and well perfect for every day.Golds, brown and oranges.

Perfect Fall bestie to have. Swatch wise - stunning! Every shade swatch so good. They feel buttery and so smooth. This is the 'safe' palette, which I bet will sell out fast. There is nothing crazy over here.Just pretty warm tones that goes perfectly together.

* In the Smokes- cool tones palettes with greys and reds. My palette swatch really good.

The shimmers are wonderful!creamy and pigmented. I actually like this one. I think the reds are fine. Its funny as I think Wet n Wild saw my Halloween look last year (haven't posted anywhere so...) LOL. I was the only person at my work kinda dressed up! I pulled a Witch with red/black smokey eye,red glitter and black lipstick. WNW are you guys spying on me?I swear this palette would come so handy last year! I had to pull out like 5 or more different palettes to create witchy look. Any who cool palette:)

* Boo Crew - gorgeous mix of blues and greens.reminds me of ocean.

Majority of shades are shimmer and again I found them to swatch lovely! I adore shimmery shades! the best way to apply shimmers are your fingers. I seriously can't wait to play with this one. I like that shades are not so muddy. There is one shade that is really sheer and can be used as a topper to add that beautiful sparkle to any look. Majority of my blues and green I use on my lower lash for pops of color. On the side note, this reminds me of the new ELF palette. The vibes are so similar!

* Wizards in Training - the last palette I found and wow !beautiful purples, wine shades.

Again I found the shade swatch really good. And what's with the purple?!? Every new palette that comes out have purple tones! Don't get me wrong I love purples, and just wondering..Is it a theme this year? Anyways , the only two shades I had problems with are the matte white (super sheer) and the transition pink(swatch wise sheer as heck, hopefully it can be build up). Over all a stunning palette.

Overall I am really happy to grab them. For $5.99 I say its not bad.On the side note, I notice that the lid is not as sturdy as in previous palettes.Or  maybe its just me? I feel the material is so flimsy! The  other palettes once you open, lid stays on nicely, here its just won't stay up. I dunno why. That is one con I have on these palettes. All together they are really fun to have.

Let me know what you think?Which palette calls your name?
can't wait for Halloween! What is your costume?are you guys going trick and treating?

Glow AF with Wet n Wild MegaGlow Highlighters - Shop my stash (part 2)

*all purchased by me*

Another post of shop my stash :) And more highlighters! Like I mention before I love a good highlighter. And if its affordable I love it even more.
Wet n Wild MegaGlow highlighters are a HOT! I don't believe I met a person who would not like it. You want to glow to the Moon and back? Wet n Wild got you covered.

As of right now there is 7 permanent shades, I think they are permanent. And recently WNW released 2 more. Through out the months there was few limited edition ones that I own and will be talking about as they are still available. Also I am ordering right now, while writing this blog the new shades. I will grab only one for now - Bloom Time and it look like it will be up my alley :) The other new shade is Awesome Blossom.

The first two shades that came out back in 2016 were Precious Petal and Crown of my Canopy. And yes everyone including me went crazy for it. I say that Precious Petal is better friend for lighter skin toned girls than Crown of my Canopy. Precious Petals is pretty champagne gold, that I been using a ton! and Crown of my Canopy is coppery gold.

(Flower of my Canopy on the top, Precious Petal bottom)

The formula is very soft and very reflective.

Wet n Wild after seeing how popular these were released more color! Next 4 shades are a whole new level :)
* Blossom Glow ~ very pale pink and very reflecting. Perfect for fair skin tones.
* Golden Flower Crown ~ medium warm gold with metallic finish
* Botanic Dream ~ rosy pink with frosty finish. Beautiful!
* Royal Calyx ~ cool light lavender. I bet not everyone's cup of tea. :)

(swatches from the left Golden Flower Crown, Botanic Dream, Blossom Glow and Royal Calyx)

Also in permanent rage is shade called Diamond Lily ~ beautiful icy blue toned highlighter :) I dunno I love shades like this and yes I do wear them sometimes :)

Another one I bought but not wore is Pink Ashes, form I am guessing Halloween collection. Just like the name suggest it is ashy pink and I don't think it would look good on the cheek bones, but I bet it will make a great eyeshadow:)

Then WNW released few Limited Edition shades as well as palettes. I have not bought palettes tho.
First they were two highlighters in a white packaging ~ Lilac to Reality and The Sweetest Bling. To be honest until now I have not open them. I just bought on some kind of super sale over at WNW a while back and just stash them in my drawer.

I think these came out back in 2017. Not sure. The Sweetest Bling is pale pink and it looks like up my alley :) I like they way it swatches so I guess I need to play with it more. Lilac To Reality is a cool lavender with blue undertone :)

Then we have 3 highlighters from Fire and Ice Limited Edition collection inspired by Game of Thrones. Actually I bought all three megaglow powders, one bronzers and 3 eyeshadow palettes :) Gimme anything GOT!
So the highlighters that come in this collection are very icy but again super beautiful. We have:
* Glow Watcher ~ pale bluish icy white silver. Really dunno how to describe it.
* Winter Falls in LA~ warm white with pearl that shift to bluish -green sheen :)
* Halo Walkers ~ icy blue with visible sparkles.

(swatches from left Winter Falls in LA, Halo Walkers and Glow Watcher)

Wet n Wild as you can see have everything for everyone.
Right now I am waiting for my new order and can't wait for new collections to drop! :)

Do you own WNW megaglow powders? which are your faves?

New from Wet N Wild ~ Rite Aid Haul (feat. Iconic Bronzers and Setting Spray)

To my defense I went just to get a laundry detergent and I left with new Wet n Wild products and no detergent LOL. Don;t judge it happens.
I heard and well saw on IG, Wet n Wild came out with new products. The ones my Rite Aid got were the new Color Icon Bronzers, Sprays and Catsuit lipsticks.

Of course me being me I grabbed 3 out of 4 shades of bronzers (the 4, darker one was shattered) and Rose makeup setting spray.

All looks so good and fresh :) Swatched the brozners and I like the formula and the shades. It's gel infused long wearing formula, that leaves skin looking luminous and sun kissed. I think the bronzers will be a hit. Personally can't wait to play with them a bit more.
Shade I bought and swatches:
* Palm Beach Ready ~ I hope this will give my skin glow :) Its light-medium brown with tiny gold shimmer that should give skin the luminosity. Swatches really good. The formula is like it said gel like.
* Sunset Striptease ~ light medium brown with satin finish.
* Ticket to Brasil ~ light-medium with yellow undertones. The lightest out of all. It have a satin finish.

(swatched in the same order as mentioned above)

None of the ones I have is matte. I think the darker one also might be satin finish not sure tho. TBH even tho I didn't wear it on my face yet I like the formula. I don't think this will be hard to apply and blend. Swatch wise they do look like they are going to be really easy to work with. Definitely will update more once I played with them  :)

Another new product I grabbed is the Photo Focus Primer Water in Rose Scent. The bottle is rather small but mighty. Smells divine. If you are a fan of roses and rose scent you will definitely like it this. The spray nozzle is good. Sprays the right amount of products. I been spraying it on my face all day today and its a great refresher :)  Again I will update how will it work with a full face of makeup. But so far we are liking each other.

There are two more scents to choose from : Coconut and Cucumber.
Wet n Wild also came out with "matching" primer, same scents Not sure if they are same or each does something different as they were not at the store.  I saw my friend Amanda (anchored_2_beauty) hauled the coconut one :)

All products are available at Wet n Wild Website as we speak, and as you can tell in stores as well :)
Happy hunting :)

January Beauty Favorites ~ 2018

Let's see if I can post favorites every month. I will try tho.
So yes we are officially in February. I felt like January was dragging tho. So slow and so depressing. Definitely not my month. Got sick, got a tooth ache that lasted for over a week, got sick again. Ugh i could go on and on.
But you guys are not here to read me complaining ( did that even made sense ) hahah~

Anyways here are few of my favorites

Primers ~ two that I been using on and off. Smashbox Photo Finish Pore Minimizing and Pop Beauty Zero Shine primer.  Both are amazing. Both minimize pores and keep my face oil free and both nicely work with foundations. But to be honest I found myself using more POP Beauty one over the SmashBox. I feel like the Zero Shine hydrates my skin more and keeps it matte and oil free at the same time. I reviewed previously Smashbox here

Foundation ~ The new Healthy Foundation with SPF 20 by Physicians Formula. This is my new year discovery and guys I love this foundation. Works great with primes mentioned above. Leaves skin looking healthy and giving a beautiful coverage at the same time. Full review here

Concealer ~ No Filter Concealer by Colourpop. Such a beautiful concealer. Creamy, lightweight and blends well. There will be a separate note on it very soon. But if you didn't try, you have too! It retail at $6! So cheap and so good!

Setting Powder ~ Wet N Wild Photofocus Pressed Powder, yes I do adore this one. I bought it back in the summer but I haven't start using it until recently. Again super affordable! I am on the fence with the foundation but the powder is the bomb! It gives me a satin finish and it is really lightweight.

Bronzer ~ for a while now I been using Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer :) Smells like summer on tropical island and gives a beautiful warmth with out being to dark or to light. Just Perfect..

Highlighter ~ here I have two and I been using Sephora one almost every day! And the funny thing is, it is an eye shadow! Yes I been suing Satin Corest by Sephora as a highlighter and it is freaking stunning ! It gives gorgeous glow! I swear I can't put it down.

The second that comes close is the Wet N Wild Mega Glow Highlighting Powder in Precious Petals. That is the only one I have sadly. I saw that Walgreen's around my work pulled out new WNW products, so I will be getting them soon :) But yeah another affordable and amazing highlight. I use with a wet brush for blinding effect :)

The last two are Maybelline Total Temptation Mascara and Sacha Fix It Spray.  That Maybelline mascara is the only product I like from Total Temptation line. The packaging is so freaking adorable! Over all I love Maybelline mascaras. This one gives beautiful volume to my lashes. I am preparing note on what I bought form the Temptation collection, I am just not sure when will it be up.  The fixing spray by Sacha Cosmetics, oh boy! this baby holds my makeup like no other! I really really really like it! It gives a nice even mist. It is also great to spray though out the day as well, just like a refreshing mist.

What did you like in January?

Beauty Favorites 2017 ~ January

Ok I know its like the middle of February already, but here are my January Favorites :) Last year I kinda skipped these type of posts. I might posted once or twice .. shame on me right. I personally like reading monthly favorites. This year one of my blogging goals is to post them every month.

So with that said let me show you my January Favorites.

Wet N wild Photofocus foundation ~ new addition to wet n wild family. I was not really looking for this foundation I kinda stumbled on it while looking for Kandee Polishes LOL. There was not many colors left. I picked two. Shell Ivory is better match then Beige one.  I came to really like it. It have a cool applicator. I like to blend with damp sponge. I tried with brushes but it leaves my skin looking dry and cakey. I know people complain about the smell but personally it don't bother me. It gives a nice coverage. And its really cheap too! Next I want to grab concealers and faced powders :)

Milani Cosmetics Make It Last Makeup Spray ~ this makeup spray is amazing! It have a great spray nozzle that spays fine mist directly on the face and not anywhere else. It did eliminated the powder look on my face! big plus for that! Although it didn't last 16h as it claims it did last around 9h for me , which is not bad :) Right now this is my go to setting and priming spray :)

Now let me tell you about my two favorites that I can not live without.
Art Deco Eye Shadow Base  and Clarins Supra-Volume Mascara. Holy Crap! both products are just simply amazing. ArtDeco eye-shadow base keep my eye-shadow on my lid the whole day. I mean it no creasing, no fading. The way I applied them in morning stays put through out the day. It comes in small (5ml) jar and it smells like  a men cologne. Why does it smell like a cologne? I don;t know but I love it! I love the smell! This is great primer if you have an oily lids :) Definitely try it out :) It is not only my favorite, my fellow polish blogger Monika (Candymona) loves it just as much. She told me she is on her 3rd jar! :)
Now Clarins Supra-Volume Mascara I cant get enough of it. It makes my lashes so beautiful, think and black. It makes them long and makes them look like a fake lashes! I don't wear fake lashes and now I don't need to coz I have Clarins Mascara :) I usually put on 2 to 3 coats :) Its intensely black. The wand is amazing it catches all the lashes and just adds life to them :) The formula is more on a wetter side. Over all this mascara will be purchased as soonest its gone. I think I found my holy grail you guys ! you want super sexy lashes ? Use Supra-Volume you wont regret.

Now let me show you some eye shadows that i been loving past month :)
ArtDeco  Most Wanted palette NUDE ~  to be honest I thought I will not like this palette. And boy I was wrong. I do like it and I like it a lot. It prefect mix of mattes and shimmers in brown, grey and rose hues. The color complements each other and blends really nice. The shimmer rose shade is my favorite!
The other shadows I been loving are by MBA Cosmetics. I love their eye shadows.  They are pigmented, soft and they blend like a dream. Silk FX Shadows are my favorite. The ones I been loving last month are :
* Peach Frost ~ shimmery frosty peach
* True Love ~ matte, light nude pink
* Blue Carrauco ~ shimmery vivid tropical blue
* Sangria ~ rich and sultry burgundy
* Turquoise ~ shimmery blue green
* Honey ~ shimmery golden tan
The way I like to use them was: blend True love in my crease. Peach frost all over my lid. Smoked out with a bit of Sangria. Honey in my inner corner and either Blue Carrauco or Turquoise on my lower lash line :)

now for lips I really liked :
* Fairy Girl Rose Goddess Liquid Lipstick ~ when Fairy Girl told me the brands is coming out with liquid lipsticks I was so happy! Their lipsticks are amazing but the liquid ones way better! Out of all my most used one is Rose Goddess, which is a gorgeous mauve rose shade. The formula is amazing, the time wear about 8h.
* Colourpop Calypso Satin Liquid Lipstick ~ that's it I love satin liquid lipsticks by Colourpop. Pretty  rosy nude shade.. I really like the formula on this one as well.  Mousse type consistency  that  applies opaque in one swipe. It dries to satin finish on the lips and lasted about 8h on me.
* Jordana Sweet Creme Matte Liquid Lipstick Tiramisu ~ I was not expect them to be so good. Dang Jordana! Tiramisu is one of two Jordana's Sweet Creme Matte lip[sticks I picked up early this year. Unfortunately my display had all reds left and I am nude type of girl :) any who I love this formula and this shade! Tiramisu is beautiful rosy brown with a 90's vibe to it. I love how it look on me. Surprisingly wore so good! It have a mousse texture and opaque in one swipe :) Defiantly need more! even the reds!
(top Jordana, middle colourpop, bottom Fairy Girl)

And last let me show you my favorite duo that I was wearing on my nails since Christmas.
London Town nail color in Brill-and and China Glaze in Define Good..
Both look stunning on  the nails and both wear nicely over base and top coat by London Town.
London Town Brill-ant bold metallic rose shade! OMG this is one of my all time favorite colors! Its simply stunning and well it look amazing paired with China Glaze Define Good which is rich cranberry shimmer shade :)

So that would be it . My January Favorites :) Do you know any of the products? What did you love in January ?

xoxo Monica

Wet N Wild ~ Sequins and Stardust ~ Holiday Collection

When the brand like Wet N Wild releases new LE collection you need to go and hunt it down.
I actually stumbled on it by accident. I was shopping one day, unfortunate day when the some terrorist asshole set up a bomb in Chelsea NYC. Can you belive I was there that day!?!?!? I leave 45min before the bomb exploded. Thank God no one was badly hurt.
Anyways the store, Harmon Face Values is located near the explosion site.
As I said I went there just coz my friend wanted a nail polish and Michael's was downstairs. Than I saw the new WNW display, I took apic send it over to my IG and asked Queen of Budget Makeup, G. from nouveaucheap blog if that collection is new? Or I am super behind and its old. Anyways me being me I grabbed 4 nail polishes, one lip gloss, and all pigments. Unfortunately my display didn't have the highlight bar that everyone is obsessed with it.Lucky few weeks later my rite aid got the display and I picked all remaining products. So now I am proud owner of the whole collection , including highlight.

* Pigments each comes with a protective cap , so in that case you wont make mess with it nor you will spill it, I like the idea a lot! They come in 4 shades. They do might look same but trust me each one it is different.
~ Heart of Rose Gold (my personal favorite) - rose gold
~ Dom And Cherry On Top  - gold
~ Ride On my Copper - copper
~ Kung Fu Lightning ~ the lightest and in my opinion the less pigmanted shade.

* Lip glosses ~ I am not a fan of glosses but the design on the cap and the colors and well I am weak, so I have all 4 shades with me. I didn't wear them yet so can't really talk how the perform throughout the day . Starting from top:
~ The Loco-Potion - orange with lots of pink flecks
~ Boggie White Lights - this one is sheer white with lilac shift
~ Moxie Brown ~ coppery-gold
~ Ring My Bellbottoms ~ yellowish gold with shimmer

* Nail Polishes ~ As a nail polish junkie I had to have them all. Thank god the price is low on these ($1.99) Overall Mega last series is my favorite coz the polishes last really long time. They come with wide brush and over all they are one of the best and long lasting in the drugstore. I admit I didn't buy wet n wild polishes in long time. There were countless displays but not in my area. I will definetly post swatches in the separate post soon :) I think my Rite Aid have few more in stock so I might pick few for giveaway :)
starting from top we have:
~ Studio Glitter and Gold~ I love gold polishes :) this one  will look stunning on
~ Ninja Lovelace ~ omg this one is stunning! Dark very dark golden brown with gold flecks.
~ I dream of Jean Genie ~ pretty jeans color with gold flecks, its really pretty!
~  R-U-Free 2 Dance ~ its sheer and works mostly as a topper :)

* Gold Bar Highlight "Holy Gold Head" ~ this baby sold out fast. No wonder why,  It is freaking gorgeous! The design the color, oh my :) It say it comes with a mirror  (hence the reason that packaging is so chunky) but my mirror won't come out and since I don't want to ruin my precious baby I leave t be. This is a star of the collection and everyone wants piece of it. Each display old only two of these babies. Only two!!! So if you want to score one you need to hunt it down and do it fast! The highlight is gold with peachy star on top. I swatched a bt and formula is really nice! I don't own other highlights (summer ones) but I love this. Swatches beautifully, there is not shimmer just pure gold reflection, peachy gold if you swatch with the star :)

* Eye Lashes ~ two sets and both gorgeous! I dont think I will wear them but I happy to have them. :)
