Used Up Makeup That I Love So Much I Will Repurchase

It really feels good when you hit pan on your favorite products does it? 

I kinda feel like an ass coz I hit pan many many times through out the years and I don't think I took a pic or posted on my socials. Once it was done I just dumped it in the garbage and went ahead and grabbed new one. 

What I can do is to take a pictures of whatever was repurchased :) Maybe I can find a pan pic? Hmmm let me check my camera feed. 

For now lets talk about the picture I posted on my IG few weeks ago. 

As you can see there are 3 bronzers, powder, primer and foundation. 

Gosh don't let me started on how many bottles of foundation I went through out the years... 

Let me start with Touch in Sol No Pore Blem Primer - omg this have become a staple in my routine. First bottle was gifted to me by my sister in law and once it was running low I repurchased it on ULTA as they had it for around $12. I need this with me at all times. And once I am done with this bottle you can be sure I will be repurchasing it. 

Then we have Maybelline SuperStay 24H full coverage foundation (shade 120 Classic Ivory) - I purchased this when it first came out. The shade match was not the best, I felt like it was a bit too dark, but we don't have testers so it was kinda hard... Overall this is really good foundation. Will I repurchase once I am done with it (a tiny bit left) , not sure... They are other drugstore foundations that I like a bit more then this one ( they will be mention at the end of this post coz I did repurchase some more then once).

Cover Girl Vitalist Healthy Power (Classic Ivory) - I think this is an amazing powder. Very creamy and to my surprise it controls shine. I used a RT powder blush with this and any powder I have. I really like it, hence the huge pan I hit. I will continue using it up and I find it again I will repurchase. I believe they did discontinued this product so it will be a hassle for me to find a replacement. 

Now bronzers... I am going through bronzers like they are water :) Much more so then the powders.... What can I say I lime bronzers a lot :) 

The three I hit pan on and are already been thrown out are :

* Wet n Wild - Palm Beach Ready and Sunset Striptease - I love them both! I did a swatch and review a while back, here is the link. Both are so affordable and worked so well on my skin. I will be repurchasing both as soonest I can :)

* The Balm - Balm Dessert Bronzer - I bought this few years ago. It was either at Imats or Ipsy Gen Beauty. I was torn between this one and Bahama Mama. I went with Balm Dessert as it was a bit cooler and better match for me. I actually really like this bronzer and when ever Balm will have 50% off I will be getting it back and well as oone or two from the Oscar line :) Yes I been eyeing them for a quite sometime now :) 

Now here are products that I did repurchased and love:

* Maybelline Fit Me Foundation - my 3rd bottle

* Loreal Infallible Foundation - 2nd bottle

* Revlon ColorStay foundation for oily/combo skin - 3rd bottle

* Wet N Wild Photo Focus powder - 2nd

*  YSl Primer - I went through two mini (thrown them away a while ago). Pictured three more, one is gone, second almost gone and third one full. These are minis and I love this primer. I will be getting full size one day :)

* Loreal Colour Riche Shine Lipstick in the shade Burnished Blush - completely gone. Picture show a bit left but its been gone for a while now. I haven't repurchase since but I am planning on. I was keeping it at my work and wearing it daily.

I think that's what I remember from top of my head. 

I am not including mascaras in this post. There will be a whole post on that. I have a bag full of used up mascaras that I really want to write about. So stay tuned.

September Favorites ~ It Cosmetics, Pur Cosmetics, Tah Tah Makeup, Maybelline, Cover Girl, MBA Cosmetics, Freedom and Lovely

Gosh another month has passed. Halloween and Thanksgiving are around the corner and don't even let me start on Christmas. Time to start CHristmas shopping. 

September for me was a really busy month. I been working sundays and overtime. So due to many hours of work and me being tired at the end of the day I  put on minimal makeup. Most was mascara, foundation, bronzer, highlighter and lipstick... My favorites are most of the products I used the most in that month. So let just start with it.

Was using two foundations:

IT Cosmetics CC+ and PUR Cosmetics Hydra Fluid.  CC+ have a medium coverage, Hydara Fluid have a light coverage. I use either IT Cosmetics by itself or mixed with Hydra Fluid. Yes I mix them :) At the beginning I didn't like PUR foundation. There was noncoverage and it made me look shiny after few hours. I had to use a mattifying primer then powder foundation on top to make it work,They only pro was that it was hydrating. But I found that it work good with IT CC+.  I add a bit of PUR an mix , then apply with beauty blender. I set it all with mattifying powder :)

For bronzing /contouring I was using a lot My Beauty Addicts HydraSunRays bronzer. I dont see the name though. Its a matte warm tone bronzer. It is great to warm up my face. Not so much for contouring though , well for me I like t use a cooler toned bronzers for that. But it does give a nice sun kissed look.It contains skin loving ingredients like green tea, vitamin A, C, D and B5. It is packaged in sleek black packaging. Comes with the mirror inside but no brush. Which is fine by me because I like to use my own brushes. The bronzer is lightweight, can be built up, and it suits all skin tones. The texture s silky and buttery. Applies nicely and not patchy. Thumbs up ! definitely worth checking out, click here for more info .

The blush I been using is one by Tah Tah Makeup in Allure. I recieved a while back nice package from Tah Tah Makeup, they are Charlotte, NC based company. It shows up as very light peachy pink shade.  I would say it is more of a satin finish. Give beautiful flush and wear all day. Applies nicely and feels silky soft. Tah Tah have a large selection of blushes and more. Defietly check them out.Click here to see more colors. 

My favorite highlighter in past month were golds :) One from Polish Brand Lovely and one from MBA Cosmetics. 
When I swatched I notice they look same. SO no wonder I been liking them a lot. Both are gorgeous golds and give beautiful glow. MBA Cosmetics GOlden Lights is compared to Mary Lou by The Balm. I am pretty sure that GOLD by Lovely will be a nice and affordable dupe as well. :) Both come in round packaging with twist up lid.

Now lets move on to eyes. Two mascaras I been enjoying are Cover Girl Super Sizer and Maybelline  Lash Sensational.  Both gives me a nice length and volume. My lashes really look good. Maybelline one I purchased coz of my friend.She was getting one fr herself and since there was a promo buy one get 2nd 50% off I said why not. I opened next day and been using ever since. Cover Girl was one of the prizes in a giveaway I won a while back. I like it but I dont want to use it much coz my erson is waterproof and hate hate taking it off. Take too much time. Definitely will be getting regular version soon :)

My go to eyeshadow was Tah Tah Makeup in shade Pin Up. I actually was using one more but I forgot where I put so I will show you guys later. Pin Up is a pretty coppery shade. Soft texture and nicely pigmanted. Looks gorgeous on the eye, 

Even by itself ,blends nice and it does look stunning. I will be getting more shades for sure coz I realy like them. Just let me wait for some promo :) check more here.

For my brows I been using Freedom Makeup brow pomade and gosh  love it! I did mention it before in my brow routine post so you can read more here.

 for the lips I went nude ts month and well bold too LOL. But let me show you the lippie I been using a lot last month. It is by Julie Hewett and it is in the shade Edie. First off Edie, love the name and it brings out Desperate Housewives to my mind.its a pretty pinky nude shade that goes well with anything.  It have a satin matte finish and wear nicely throughout the day. My hair favorite is DAFNI straightening brush, which helped me get ready fast in the mornings. for my review check here.

Also I have t say I love The Crazy Merman Brush soap! omg it cleans my brushes really fast and they are super clean. This soap is hand made, cruelty free and vegan. The fusion of coconut and olive  oil removes makeup from synthetic brushes, leaving them soft and clean. They offer 4 scents to choose from. I have my in Lavender Basil and you guys it smells amazing. Its super easy to use :) Make sure to follow me on my IG I will do a demo soon on it :) So far the best makeup brush cleaner :)

Katy Perry Katy Kat Matte Lipsticks ~ Swatches + Review

I have an exciting post for you today. Any Katy Parry's fan out there? Did you try her new lipstick collection form collab with Cover Girl? 

Don't let the word matte fool you. This lipsticks are far form drying matte formula. They are demi-matte, which means they a more creamier and have sheen to it. Plus they feel hydrating rather then drying. 

There 13 shades in a collection and I hope they will be permanent.   I found 4 shades so far, but I will be hunting down reaming ones. 

Lipsticks comes in a white tube that have a rubbery feel to it. On the lipstick tube you can see  Katy Perry <3 Cover Girl and on other side Katy Kate Matte printed in back. On the bottom there is color and shade name with cutest cat ears printed on top! adorable right? 

I bought my at my local Rite Aid ($7.99 each) on a promo buy 1 get second 59% off. My display was rather small and there were two repeat shades. I try to find all unopened lipsticks, coz you know people like to open every single color and swatch it .. dummies! So anyways I found only 4 that I could take home.

They apply smooth and are vanilla scented. Which I really like. 

typical wear time is around 5h.

Cover Girl TruNaked 'Goldens' and 'Nudes' Swatches + Review

Cover Girl recently launched new eyeshadow palettes : Goldens, Nudes and Roses.

My CVS had display with only Goldens and Nudes and so I grabbed both. Roses palette is available at ULTA, and that will be my next stop.

Palettes are pretty pricey. I paid $13.95 for each at my CVS, which for 8 pan is a bit expensive. I am still kinda disappointed that bogo on Cover Girl did not include these palettes or anything from Spring collection. Oh well maybe next time. 

As I said they are pricey for a drugstore, but the shades claim to be 'like leading $50 eye shadow palette'. A lot of people compare them to Urban Decay palettes. Roses would be dupe for Naked 3, Goldens dupe for Naked , and Nudes dupe for Naked 2.

Like I said before they are 8 pan eyeshadows, come in a plastic packaging. Clear lid, so you can see a shadows. On the lid in gold letters you can see the name Cover Girl TruNaked ( Nudes, Goldens and Roses depends on the palette ). Inside there is dual sponge applicator. At the back you can see the names of eyeshadows and ingredients list. 

Now the formula on these is amazing! They do feel like a high end shadows. Soft. creamy texture that blends wonderfully.  In palette you can find matte shades and shimmery shades. The pigmentation on these is off the chain. For real ! I really like the Maybelline palettes but these are way better in my opinion. Also the lightest matte shades in both palettes  really lack in pigmentation. In Goldens is the first shade - Creme and in Nudes second shade - Shell. As of the rest ,they are to die for, The shimmers swatches better then matte shades. All swatched with my finger with no base.

Overall I really like them. I will get Roses and new Maybelline soon :)

Cover Girl 'Red Revenge' Nail Polish

Cover Girl Outlast Stay Brilliant Nail Polish ~ One of the prizes I won in Cover Girl Giveaway a while back.

'Red Revenge' its a stunning true red color. One of the most beautiful reds I ever worked with. 

The color is super opaque. Even one coat is enough!  I did apply two I always do that even if only one would work. 

The polish comes in bottle that reminds me of Chanel, Dior bottle even though I don't  any of it. The only think I dislike is the cap. It is hard to hold and paint the nails. The color it self like I said is very opaque. Its also glossy! like wow! and it stay glossy for a long time. Gloss/Shine wont wash away...  As for the lasting .... hmmm... not impressed. Maybe because I didn't use any base and top coast? I paint my nails on Sunday and Monday it start to chip... by Wednesday I had nothing left... 

Even though it didn't last long I will not give up on it. I will try it again soon :)
