MAC Bronzing Collection - Summer 2020 - my picks

This limited edition collection dropped not long ago and I does get me thinking of Summer. 

Summer that I hope we get... 

I am kind of confused as this is a Bronzing or Bronzer collection? I see both names on the web and just not sure which is correct. I call it Bronzing coz Bronzer is bronzer  :) 

This collection was available excursively at ULTA here in the USA.It is a Limited Edition and includes: 2 bonzers, 5 foiled eye shadows, 5 lipsticks, 4 lip glosses, 4 strobe face glaze, fix plus, body strobe lotion and bronzing brush. 

So as you can see it was quite a big. 

I was able to grab a bronzer, 3 lipsticks and one eye shadow. 

I went back to get the face glaze coz I was curious but the shade I wanted was sold out. 

Here are closer pics of my picks and as this is a Limited Edition I did not swatch anything... but.... I got me thinking that maybe I should start using my LE stuff... I know I did use few in the past so I have no idea whats stopping me. As of now I only took pictures of this collection but I might have break my "untouchables" and start using them. We will see LOL I am still thinking what to do :)

• Beige-ing Beauty Bronzer- this is a light yellow tones bronzer that might or might not be too dark for me. But I wanted the compact so bad so I bought it and wen with the lighter version of it. This is supposed to have a dewy-matte finish and cream to powder formula. I tell that by looking at it and dipping my finger ever so slightly it is powder formula that does feel creamy when I swatched it.. again lightly. I dunno I feel like I will crack it open and start using it. Color looks dark in the pan but lets see :) Retail $32

• Foiled Eye Shadow in the shade Monaco-co - I was so super hesitant with buying an eye shadow coz of the price... I t was $26!!! I know crazy! I was watching some UK YouTuber and she was applying this shadow on and I really really wanted it. I closed my eyes and bam I bought it. I just didn't know why the prices was so high on it? Was it coz it was LE? Different formula? I had no idea until I got it mail.... And the pan was huge! I didn't take a side by side picture, but this particular shadow contains 3g/0.1oz of product versus 1.3g/0.04oz in my other regular pan shadows. And I compare it with my other LE shadow from Snow Ball Collection. The shade is described as a warm rich brown :) Retail $26

• Cote D'Amour Lipstick - this was the shade I knew I was going to get. I love bright, fun colors for Summer, even tho I never wear the ones from MAC coz again LE... Retail $20
• Set To Sizzle Lipstick - this is described as grapefruit pink and this one was also on my wish list :) Retail $20
• A La Plage Lipstick - light nude with slight gold pearly sheen. I knew I wanted three lipsticks from this collection and on two I was sure which shades I am getting but it was hard to decide on the third one. Finally I went this beauty :)  Retail $20

Now I am patiently waiting for Mac Mosaic Collection to drop. But there is no dates on when it will be available in the USA... Below is the picture :) I can tell you that I will be getting all lipsticks, palette and highlighter :)

MAC Juicy Fruity Collection ~ my picks

I feel summer already with newest MAC cosmetics collection. 

MAC Juicy Fruity is inspired by tropics, exotic fruits and flowers. Vibrant colors paired with a black background .. ahhhh feels really juicy!

I went day after launched day and surprisingly I was able to get what I wanted :)   

Collection did launched on May 18th here in USA :)

 I , for some reason I love to shop at the store. I just want to feel product and well swatch it! and there was a swatch party! I left the store with only 3 picks :( I kinda on fence here LOL i might pick up two more products ... lets see :) 

First two things that I grabbed were Fix + and Pearlmatte Face powder . 

Can you believe I have never ever tried a Fix+!!??!!?? Yeah  I actually wanted to grab the limited edition scented ones that were available last year but heck they sold out super fast. When i saw that COCONUT one will be available with new MAC collection in cool LE packaging, i knew it will end it up in my shopping bag. Do you know the first thing I did when I got home? I pull that spry out and sprayed my face right away! yes! summer scent indeed! now wonder all the scented FIX+ spray sold out so fast last year, I bet you this one will too! So if you want it I suggest run to your local MAC and grab it , even two! coz it is amazing! Yes baby the hype is real! 

Next up is Pearlmatte face Powder "Oh my Passion" , oh yes the design on it is breathtaking :)  Really look at it ! isn't it gorgeous? :) 

The Pearlmatte face powder is supposed  to be a combination of a highlighter and a blush with excellence color payoff and rich creamy texture. 

In the pan you can see a bronzer, pinky coral and pinky lavender blush and soft yellowish highlight. when swirled together it creates warm peachy blush :) I personally didn't stick my fingers in my , hell if I ever do. Some products you really can't touch it LOL. I did play around with it at the Mac store and I really like the color after swirling all shades together.  My powder is going to DO NOT TOUCH MAKEUP STASH :) 

Lastly I got a lipstick. I always get LE lipsticks:) This time I picked only one , but I really want to get either the pink or purple-ish one :) Again I went home with a nude ~ Calm Heat. 

Pinky beige with satin finish, I read few reviews on it and its not so good LOL, but hey I don;t think I will wear it anytime soon but I guess paired with a lip gloss should be fine. I read that it sinks in the lip lines and that don't look good. I swatched it on my hand only. I didn't wear so can'r tell you much :)

I think the packaging is gorgeous on this collection and well any MAC junkie should get something , ya know!?  Like I said I really want to pick up one more lippie and a bronzer. I read that one of them is super nice, matte and cooled toned. 

 Hopefully it will be something left for me :)

MAC Vibe Tribe ~ what I got form the collection.

I been really excited for this collection. Inspired by music festivals (Coachella and Burning Man). Each year Mac Summer collections are stunners! Last year we had Wash and Dry and a year before, my favorite Alluring Aquatic.  Alluring Aquatic is the collection I kinda passed on and I cry every time I think of it. My very first MAC products were form that collection. And since I was just starting my makeup adventure I didn't buy much.... why oh why! I trying to get few prices online but the prices are ridiculous! Starting from that day I made sure I get at least one product form LE collections. Lately I been getting more then and I am so happy about it :)

Anyways back to Vibe Tribe collection. What I like about all LE is the packaging. This year packaging is freaking amazing! Love the tribal design and the pop of colors! Its so summer! 

So as much as I love the design I hate the quality of the packaging! MAC what happened? The plastic feels rather cheap, like really really cheap. That's the reason I didn't pick anything else. I really wanted both blushes, but I won't be paying $25 each for a cheap packaging. Sorry MAC packaging quality is really bad! and I am not the only one who thinks that way. 

Aside form compacts the lipsticks are great. Packaging is you typical MAC tube and it feels good! So if you want something from this collection go for the lipsticks. 

With that said I pick only 3 products. 

The star of the show is definitely Gleamtones powder in Dunes at Dusk. Multicolored powder. Combination of 4 shades: pink, champagne gold, peach and rose mauve. This powder highlight is freaking gorgeous! Perfection and to be honest I don't even want to touch it. I swatched all the shades in store and then swirled them together and OMG I was hooked! The only reason I don't want to swatch is that some of my MAC products are collector items. I could get second one but well I don't have extra $$$ to spend and I wish I could though. This little compact is very versatile. You can use all shades together or alone. they can be also used as an eye shadows! Imagine that champagne gold in your inner corners! Perfect! 

This highlight is a LE, so get it while you can. I know the packaging sucks but I you need this baby in your collection. 

Also I pick two lipsticks:

HOT CHOCOLATE ~ lipsticks that screamed my name from the first time I saw it. It is Limited Edition shade, but re-promote, which mean it did appear in collection before this one. Its gorgeous dirty plum with satin finish. I would say it is a dark nude with berry undertones. It might not be your summer option but it will work great fall/winter time. I am a fan of nudes, and I find this color perfect! 

ARROWHEAD ~ Light pinky nude. Matte finish. I pick this one up =, because I like the swatches online. This can look prefect in summer with a nice lip gloss on top or under a colorful lip liner. 

So that is my MAC Haul :) I have few more lipsticks to show you I picked up recently. But that will be in the next post.

Chris Chang of Poesia puts an acid soak twist on a modern MAC Collection, featuring vivid kaleidoscope of cutting-edge colour, inspired by ancient Chinese art form Kunqu. 

This collection will be available around May 2016.

The packaging is to DIE for! definitely will be picking up something form this collection, why wouldn't I right?! Btw I really want to know whats inside in that middle compact ? Thoughts?

MAC x Mariah Carey " All I want " Lipstick

All I want for Christmas is Mariah Carey MAC lipstick :)

Mariah Carey collaborate with MAC Cosmetics to bring us gorgeous lipstick for Holidays. 

'All I want' is described as a champagne shimmer. It have a frost finish. Yes it sparkly :) Looks like a warm metallic peachy shade. I tell you at front, this is not the kind of lipstick I go for. I stay away form all frosts. But it is a limited edition and well I need to have it. Although I am kind of disappointed with the packaging. Wish MAC could make something more then put her in plain black MAC tube :( .  But oh well. 

I tried on me and it a straight on shimmer. I guess if i layer it with a lip liner I can make it work. 

I do have one frost lipstick and it is form Alluring Aquatic collection in  shade 'Pet me Please'. I did actually wore Pet me Please few times layer with shimmery lip gloss. Yeah,I did that.In summer you can do it all and get away with it hahaha! I swatch them alongside on the back of my hand so you can see how they both look.

MAC Magic OF the Night ~ My picks

 MAC holiday collection is here! And it is so beautiful! Also the packaging.. MAC never disappoints when it comes to Limited Edition packaging. 

Lipsticks have gorgeous purple metallic packaging, skin finishes ~ blue and  Pigments ~ teal. 

As much as I wanted to buy all collection, I had to stopped only at 2 items :( Yes sadly there is more Holiday set out there that I really want. So lets jump to my haul.

'Please Me' Lipstick  ~ medium muted rosy pink. Matte finish. Available also i permanent line. And since I don't own it, now I have in special LE packaging. I actually bought two of them. One for me and one for my fried. Texture is creamy and applies evenly. Not as much drying as I thought it would be. Long lasting, vanilla scent. Metallic Purple Packaging LE. ($18)

'Oh, darling' Extra Dimension Skin Finnish ~  oh yes this baby sold out so fast! Even when I got to MAC store at 8;30am in the morning it was almost gone! They told me at the store that a girl bought 20! of them! CRAZY!!!!!! and she asked ho many do I want? LOL I was like : Just one please :) 'Oh, darling ' is described as metallic gold with MAC prints on the surface. Comes with this gorgeous metallic blue packaging. Also it is compared to famous Whisper of Guilt , which i don't own and that is why I bought this one :) ($33)

MAC Dita Von Teese 

Oh How I love her! Dita is a burlesque dancer, model, costume designer and actress. And most of all she was married to Marilyn Manson. If you don't know I love HIM! hahah one fact about me :) Marilyn Manson is a love of my life :) So yes I am super excited to see his ex wife collaborate with MAC :) and Love the LIPSTICK already : )
