MAC Bronzing Collection - Summer 2020 - my picks

This limited edition collection dropped not long ago and I does get me thinking of Summer. 

Summer that I hope we get... 

I am kind of confused as this is a Bronzing or Bronzer collection? I see both names on the web and just not sure which is correct. I call it Bronzing coz Bronzer is bronzer  :) 

This collection was available excursively at ULTA here in the USA.It is a Limited Edition and includes: 2 bonzers, 5 foiled eye shadows, 5 lipsticks, 4 lip glosses, 4 strobe face glaze, fix plus, body strobe lotion and bronzing brush. 

So as you can see it was quite a big. 

I was able to grab a bronzer, 3 lipsticks and one eye shadow. 

I went back to get the face glaze coz I was curious but the shade I wanted was sold out. 

Here are closer pics of my picks and as this is a Limited Edition I did not swatch anything... but.... I got me thinking that maybe I should start using my LE stuff... I know I did use few in the past so I have no idea whats stopping me. As of now I only took pictures of this collection but I might have break my "untouchables" and start using them. We will see LOL I am still thinking what to do :)

• Beige-ing Beauty Bronzer- this is a light yellow tones bronzer that might or might not be too dark for me. But I wanted the compact so bad so I bought it and wen with the lighter version of it. This is supposed to have a dewy-matte finish and cream to powder formula. I tell that by looking at it and dipping my finger ever so slightly it is powder formula that does feel creamy when I swatched it.. again lightly. I dunno I feel like I will crack it open and start using it. Color looks dark in the pan but lets see :) Retail $32

• Foiled Eye Shadow in the shade Monaco-co - I was so super hesitant with buying an eye shadow coz of the price... I t was $26!!! I know crazy! I was watching some UK YouTuber and she was applying this shadow on and I really really wanted it. I closed my eyes and bam I bought it. I just didn't know why the prices was so high on it? Was it coz it was LE? Different formula? I had no idea until I got it mail.... And the pan was huge! I didn't take a side by side picture, but this particular shadow contains 3g/0.1oz of product versus 1.3g/0.04oz in my other regular pan shadows. And I compare it with my other LE shadow from Snow Ball Collection. The shade is described as a warm rich brown :) Retail $26

• Cote D'Amour Lipstick - this was the shade I knew I was going to get. I love bright, fun colors for Summer, even tho I never wear the ones from MAC coz again LE... Retail $20
• Set To Sizzle Lipstick - this is described as grapefruit pink and this one was also on my wish list :) Retail $20
• A La Plage Lipstick - light nude with slight gold pearly sheen. I knew I wanted three lipsticks from this collection and on two I was sure which shades I am getting but it was hard to decide on the third one. Finally I went this beauty :)  Retail $20

Now I am patiently waiting for Mac Mosaic Collection to drop. But there is no dates on when it will be available in the USA... Below is the picture :) I can tell you that I will be getting all lipsticks, palette and highlighter :)

MAC x Selena La Reina Collection - my picks

Ok, so who remembers when the first Selena x Mac collab launched? I think it was sold out in minutes coz I only gotten a gloss that my friend kindly gifted to me. 

This year the second part, the launch was much smoother. There was a pre-sale and then official launch on Mac, Macy's , Ulta Beauty websites. I got my order from Ulta (double points for my extended birthday month) it took around two weeks to get the order in :) And I ordered what ever I wanted from the collection, nothing more nothing less.

The packaging  on the collection is really something :) It resembles Selena's bejeweled bra she wore during her shows. Inside the palette and highlighter there is a picture of her in that bra. The whole collection was done with the black and silver theme and I like it :)

• MAC x Selena La Reina Extra Dimension Skin Finish - shade La Leyenda. This baby sold out so fast. And I totally understand why. Just look how gorgeous this rose is! Its described as medium dark gold with strong, warm peachy undertones and the metallic sheen. Right of the bat I tell you this shade is not for me. My skin is way to light to pull it off. I only going to add this to my "untouchables" drawer, which includes all beautiful, limited edition Mac pieces. Retail $37

• MAC x Selena Me Siento...Muy Excited Eye Shadow Palette - a 8 pan palette with mattes and shimmers. There are two Dazzleshadows in this palette that apparently are not so great. No clue I didn't dig in the palette yet. Not sure if I will. Like I said I have "untouchable" drawer and that's were the palette will go... I think. Ugh I don't know what to do... part of me wants to grab brushes and just play with it and the other part just want to leave it as it is. you see that's why I need doubles of everything ... but who have that kind of money LOL. I really like the color story. I know its nothing new but still I like it a lot :) Retail $35

• MAC x Selena Lipstick - shade Queen of Cumbia - a rich red lipstick that we could say it was a signature look of Selena. Retail $20
• MAC x Selena Lipstick in the shade Selena Vive - its a light peachy nude that is just perfect for nude lovers :) Retail $20

Next week I will have another collection by MAC :) I got my order two days ago and most likely it will be up on Monday :) 

Spring Makeup with MAC Boom Boom Bloom Collection

Hey! I have a brand new, pinky and so spring-ish post :)

Just quickly wanted to show you new additions to my MAC collection:) As some of you know I collect LE Mac products. I try not to use them and so all are untouched expect two lipsticks :)

Anyways curious about the new collection :) Well jump right in :)

Let's start with lipsticks :) There is 5 shades of lipsticks and 4 lip glosses. 

I only bought 2 lipsticks, and might grab a lip gloss... still thinking and Macy's website is open and they have 15% off so just might grab one :) 

The packaging on the whole collection is simply stunning! I just adore the cherry blossom flower print, so pink and so spring! The inside of the lipstick bullet is rose golden and just well perfect match! Oh wait watch me I will write "perfect" many time over in this post LOL. Sorry but just adore MAC LE! So the two lipsticks I got are:

* Wagasa Twirl ~ muted medium pink. Matte finish. 

* Framboise Moi ~ Deep raspberry pink. So beautiful! Semi Matte finish.  

The highlighter Fleur Real High-Light Powder~ I be honest here, I bought it only just so I can stare at it. Over all this one and the other one got very bad reviews. I swatched them myself at Macys and wasn't thrilled at all. The pink one (same I got) swatched super matte and super chalky. The beautiful over spray was gone and tbh nothing super exciting. The golden one was too gold and it kinda looked weird and kinda dirty on my hand.  But like I said I bought it only to add it to my collection of LE MAC powders :) and I am not planing on using it. Moving on....

Eyeshadow palette ~ Kabuki Doll, so stunning! Small, 9 pan palettes with clear lid that have falling cherry blossom petals printed. The colors look absolutely beautiful! There are mattes in the center of the palette and shimmers on each side.
The palette is small and prefect for travel :) Plus these are my go to everyday shades so yeah :) If you like MAC shadows go and grab this beauty and you won't be disappointed. 

And the last is the famous Fix + setting spray in cherry blossom scent. Guys this smells heavenly! OMG! I have one from like two years ago, The Tutti Frutti Collection and that one smelled so good as well! Ugh! Love it! Fix plus is amazing. 

Marshall's and TJ Maxx Finds ~ part 3

Ok, so Marshall's and TJ Maxx are getting crazy crazy makeup and skin care products. Like MAC, Becca, ABH, Too Faced, etc! It's like makeup heaven for us bloggers and junkies! What's better then getting lux higher end products for less then half the cost! Nothing haha. 

At my local Marshalls I every week. I wish I could check it out daily but someone have to work LOL. I am addicted to watching YT MArshalls and TJ Maxx hauls. There is so many things I hope my place will get soon. Mama is ready so take all my $$$. 

Anyways enough with all the rumbling, here is the haul.

I bet the first thing you see are the MAC Cosmetics Girls Personality Palettes. So lucky I was able to find three of them so far. I see people keep hauling Smarty Pants and I really hope I can get my hands on it as well. 

The ones I picked up are: Qween Supreme, Classic Cutie and Fashion Fanatic. Each was only $19.99 vs $41 (Mac retail). So not bad at all. I believe your lower down to $19 as I heard that before these palettes were sold for $25. Not sure but that what I heard. I have not try them yet but the palettes look fun and personally can't wait to pull them out. Now let me quickly show and tell you bit about each palette in case if you stumble up on one during your Marshall's / TJ Maxx trip.

* Qween Supreme ~ yeah that is the spelling of Queen that Mac used. The palette contains like all others 8 eye shadows and 1 face products, in this case we have a highlighter. All shades are metallic that when applied wet give really beautiful foil finish. There is no matte shades. So if you are into metallics, sparkly eye shadows, go get this palette.

* Classic Cutie ~ just like all it have 8 eye shadows and 1 face powder. What sold me was the cute kawaii packaging. So adorable. This palette as you can see is more cool toned. No mattes. We have satin, pearl and metallic finishes. It is shimmery palette with purple, silver shades. I like it but then again I miss a matte. Overall I like it :)

* Fashion Fanatic ~  This palette have such a fan shades! Look at that berry or that purple :) So beautiful! I am really excited to use this one especially as they look so fashionable ! just as the name of the palette suggests :)

Now I am on the hunt for more of these palettes. Let's hope I can find more :)

Also I found few Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid lipsticks. They were $7.99 each and I grabbed only 3 shades. You remember last year I bought 4 Studded Kiss lipsticks :) I am happy with this find, and hope again to see other shades.
The shades I grabbed are:

* Beloved
* Bachelorette
* Underage Red
I had try before her liquid lipsticks and really like the formula. Happy to get them so cheap.

Next we have few skin care products.
Pacifica Beauty Cactus Micellar Cleaning Tonic water ~ this one was only $4.99 and what sold me was the packaging. So beautiful. And product itself is really good. I used it few times since I bought it. Takes off makeup and it is gentle on the skin. Pacifica is cruelty free and vegan skin care / makeup line. And I am already excited to see what else I will be able to find in Marshalls :)
Elizabeth Arden Refining Toner Lotion ~ I have never tried Elizabeth Arden products before. I might have had perfumes at some point but that was years ago. There was a lot of bottles of this toner. Decided to grab one coz the price ($5.99). Right now I am using some other toners. I will update on this later on. Either here or my IG page.

Micro Needle Facial Roller by Revive Beauty ~ Ok I am really curious about micro needling. I heard so much good reviews and people over all are raving about it. I am not sure about this product tho. First off I never heard of the brand, second it was cheap ($7.99) and I know some of the good micro needling roller retails for over $200.

But anyways I will give it a try and see how this one will preform. It contains 540 needles (size of each is 0.25mm)

And last but not least is the canvas. I love buying canvases at Marshalls. Ugh I tell you there was one, beautiful almost boho style lama canvas few months ago. I went to Marshalls just to look and found her.(the lama) I was in love but had no $. I hid the canvas and when next day I came back she was not there any more. Hoping to find something similar but right now no luck.
On the other hand I found this cute little pink brush canvas. I can hang it on top of my vanity :) I was holing and walking around thinking if I should take it. Finally decided to buy it. It was only $7.99marh

Mac Cosmetics Lucky Red Collection for Lunar New Year + Hauling MAC Shiny Pretty Things and MAC x Aalyiah

  I have not bought MAC in forever. Right now I tend to wait, coz everything goes on sale sooner or later. 

I have waited with Christmas Collection and Aalyiah Collection, and just now I picked up few products along the new collection launched for Chinese New Year.
So let's get started with that one as it is the main focus of this post.

The collection launched January 3rd, and I was at Macy's at this time and spotted something eye catching. The collection includes MAC best selling red lippies Ruby Woo, Russian Red and Lady Danger and new limited edition shades Lotus Life and Lucky in Love, as well as duo blush (Melba and Lovecloud)  and  powder blush brush.

 All dressed up red metallic packaging with matte floral print. The floral print is actually a peony flower, flower of richness and honor symbolize royalty and virtue in Chinese culture.
I only grabbed two limited shades and I am wanting to go back and see if Ruby Woo if still available.

Lucky in Love it matte mauve shade which I feel in love.
Lotus Life is intense pinky red in amplified formula.

Along with this collection I placed an online order for few Holiday products and I also grabbed Aalyiah lipstick as I didn't get anything from that collection when it first launched.
The lipstick I bought is More Than a Woman, which is cool deep red and well really gorgeous.
And the Holiday collection right after Holidays went on sale -40% off and I was able to get the lipstick that was on my wish list "Straight Fire" and the Oh darling highlighter. I also put one single shadow but unfortunately it went out of stock and I got my $ refunded .

"Straight Fire" is metallic matte red lipstick that is so stunning! and you cant never have enough reds trust me. In which case I will be getting Ruby Woo in that LE packaging hahah. "Oh Darling!" highlighter I own before, as I purchased few years back also from Holiday Magic of the Night collection. Yes now I have two, but come on I couldn't resist how beautiful this one look! And for $21 it really worth it. Yes you can't beat the sale prices.

 Never the less I am really pleased with my purchases. Cant wait to see what else Mac have in store for us.
