Festival Vibes with Boxy Charm - Unboxing April base box

Another month another Boxy. 

I'm not gonna lie, I am a bit pissed at Boxy for not getting my choice item. 

Around the middle of the month Boxy let you choose a product that you want to see in your box. Last month choice was Elemis Foam Cleanser, Elemis Hydrating juice (purchased my in adds on) and 1 of 10 Zoeva palettes. If you know me the choice was obvious and I choose Zoeva, and I purchased 3 in adds on as well. 

I was excited for this month box and couldn't wait to see which palette I got! Imagine my surprise when the box came and palette was not there but instead I got Elemis Cleanser.... After countless emails with Boxy the conclusion is that it was my fault coz I didn't choose anything, or so my choice was not recorded ... yeah me and 1000 of other people... There were threads all over Facebook groups and under Boxy's pictures that people DID NOT GOT THEIR CHOICE ITEM. but hey its our fault and not Boxy's. Can you believe this horses***!!! If there is more then 100 people telling you that they didn't get their choice, never got the confirmation email  its their fault? Even tho they have a SCREENSHOT of the item they chose you still don;'t acknowledge it. Admit that they might have been a glitch in your system and choices were not recorded but don't tell 100+ people that its their fault even tho they have proof! Guys I was never this pissed at Boxy and their crappy Customer Service that only copy and paste responses.... One girl even got blocked by them!!!! You don't run business like that... 

Overall the box I got this month was good, it would have been perfect if the palette was there, but hey its my fault that I was on Boxy site on Monday, March 16th to chose Zoeva palette and purchased adds on and my choice not being recorded, yeah my fault... Yeah I was never there and adds on were magically purchased but who know who? Never have I been in such a F***up situation and they can't acknowledge that they messes up... 

Anyways here is what was inside of my $25 April Base Box:

• Benefit Cosmetics The Porefesional Face primer - I own this primer already and it is one of my faves. Got to have a back up. I also went ahead and purchased the Hydrating version to try and see how it compares to this one. Retail $32

• Elemis Superfood Cica Calm Cleansing Foam - not my choice item ... I love Elemis skin care I really do but I am not a fan of foam cleanser but what to do... I might pass this along or I might try it who knows... Retail $32

• Iconic London Illuminating Drops- the OG products and I am happy to have it even tho I am not a fan of liquid highlighter., but these drops look so good and people seems to love them . Retail $41

• Lavish - 5pcs Brush set - This neon set gives me festival vibes! I like the colors but the brushes hmmmm not sure how I feel. I just don't think that $29 retail price is right... Seriously you can get MODA or Real Technique brushes for cheaper. But lets give it a shot :) 

• The Original Makeup Eraser - I always wanted makeup eraser. I almost did purchased one during 21 days of beauty at Ulta. Can't wait to try it :) Retail $22

March 2020 Favorites and Fails

My favorites. Gosh I can;t remember when was the last time I posted favorites post. Its been long I can assure you. 

Well March was rather short month when it comes to going to work, so I will include my faves and fails from past few months :)

There is so many products I could include but ... I will try to keep it under 10. 

FAVORITES 

Benefit Pr Sample, OFRA purchased by me 

First I want to talk about highlighters, Benefit Cookie and OFRA Sea Shimmer. Both been in my collection since last year and both I been using on daily basis. Both have very nice texture and glide on easily on the skin and leave beautiful glow that might not be every ones cup of tea :)

Next Blushes. Oh buy in the past few months I went on a blush craze and been buying and trying out countless amount of blushes. Who am I? I never liked blush before, I always thought I look like a clown and went for super super nude and barely there blushes. Well not this time :) Two of my faves these past months were DOME Beauty- English Rose Bluser and Ciate London - Halo Blush. One is more pinky one more mauvey. I tend to reach for Ciate more but that's personal preference. I just love how it look on my cheeks :)

Next is PYT Beauty NO BS Eye shadow palette. Guys I didn't think I would love this palette so! The bottom eye-shadow shades are stunning! Just slap them all over the lid and you good to go! They go on so nice and blend really good. Also the highlighter (bottom one) in this palette is beautiful. I used it occasionally. I mean it this is really good and travel friendly palette. If you can find it try it out for your self :)

Next we have JO MALONE Lime Basil and Mandarin - this smells so fresh! it was Christmas gift from my bff and guys even my daughter loves this perfumes. Well to be more specific they are not perfume per se but cologne :) 

Top notes are lime, mandarin and bergamot

Middle notes- basil, lilac, iris and thyme

Base notes: patchouli,  vetiver

It does remind of perfumes that were sold in Avon PL long time ago. I think they were city themed..but my mom got lime, basil scent and I feel in love with it :)

Muscle Ease Gel with botanical pain relievers by Lather - this little tube did so much good to my body! Each time I had muscle pain or even cramp on my leg once I put it on the pain went away. It have this burning sensation that I like. This keeps saving my muscles all the time and sadly i am running low already :( Gotta stock up!

Purlisse Watermelon Energizing Makeup Removing Wipes- Purlisse was kind enough and send over second pack of these wipes ! They actually really good! they cloth is soaked up well and it takes off makeup and even swatches with ease. But I don't waste it on swatches, I have other less fave wipes for that. They are seriously really good! and now since I am on Purlisse PR I get to try so many fab products (and I do I have so much to show and recommend to you )

And lastly lets talk about oil that feels so good you won't even tell its oil. Elemis Rose Oil - I recommended to few of my friends and once Boxy Charm had pop up I bought 5 of them and gave it to my friends. They love it! Even my sister in law ! I told her to get a Boxy pop up and she too waiting to get more of it. I have now two bottles of this pretty little jar :) It feels so good on the skin, sinks right away, and even tho its an oil you cant feel it.

* Bellapiere Pompous Lash Volumizing Mascara - um no.there is no color to the lashes and no volume. Sadly I didn't like this mascara. Sad as I love the brand. Some of their products are really good! :)

* Gigi Gorgeous Blush duo (in collab with IPSY) - I was excited by this little compact and I was so disappointed with the shimmery shade. tis a strange hard pan and there is no way your brush or your finger can pick up any product. The left side (matte/satin peachy blush) is much better. I will keep the compact just for that blush.  The shimmer sucks A**
Swatches: the peachy shade swatched really nice but as you can see the shimmer is not showing at all...
Just on a side note I will use only the matte peachy side of the blush duo. Shimmer is a total fail!

* Burts Bee Almond and Milk Hand Cream - the only reason that this is a fail for me is the scent. It gives me so much headache... My hubby bought two containers. And I just can't :( I guess its the almond scent that gives me headache. I remember Avon used to have hand cream like that and same story headache like no other.  Just fyi  my jar is full coz like I said hubby bought two and he keeps one home and the other one is the car. Once he done with the one in the care he will take this one :) So fail for me coz of the scent, hubby likes it :) It is a preference and I am not hating ont he brand whats so ever.

So that will be it for my faves and fails :)

Beauty Favorites 2017 ~ February

hello March, Hello my birthday month! Omg can you believe we are in 3rd month already!? 

February being a short month went by super fast. My job keeps me constantly busy so I have no time to write a new posts LOL. I used to sit at my desk, take a piece of paper and start writing. Oh well what can I do? 

I have few favorites for you :) Last year I have not post many faves posts so this year as one of my new year resolution is to bring them every month :)

So here we go :) there is a mixture of makeup, skin care and hair care :)

MAKEUP

I be honest I didn't have many favorites this month in makeup category. I been using most of the products from past month. I did not have much time to play with anything new.  I did ended up pulling few gems that i will mention right now :)

 * Benefit Cosmetics Cheekathon Face Palette ~ I am so happy I bought it. It contains full size , yes full size of their best sellers like Hoola, Dandelion, Rockateur, Dallas and Coralista. This palette is so great and god it smells so good once you open it up! I been using Hoola and Dandelion the most! I have to check other ones too but these two are amazing! BTW did you see all the new products Benefit is dropping! like another palette similar to this one and Dandelion Twinkle? I so exctied for both!

* Pixi Beauty It's Judy Time Eye Shadow Palette ~ I am completely  blown away by all the collabs that pixi did! I love Judy's palette! the color selection, the pigmentation everything! Compared to the other eye shadows i own from Pixi this is by far the best one :)  Perfect for everyday look and guys if you see it get it! (pr sample)

* Pixi Beauty Glow-y Powder in London Lustre ~ holy smokes! this highlight is gorgeous! I am obsessed! It is very suitable for my fair skin and gives me beautiful glow! I been using it every day i mean it every day :) Hopefully I can put it aside and try other highlighters I have in my stash :) Lets see hahaha but this one Ahhh i am in love! good job Aspyn and Pixi! * L'oreal Infallible Lip Paints ~ Now they are pretty expensive for a drugstore lipstick. I got them on 40%off sale and still I pay around $7. Anyways I wanted to try ever since i saw them popping all over IG. I picked two nude shades. and guys I like them :) I don't think i will get any others but if I ran out of any of this I will definitely repurchase. The have a good coverage with shiny finish. They feel like balm and actually hydrate my lips :) I really like them :)

NOTE: i will have a full post on all Pixi Collabs very soon. i was not happy with the pics I took and I have to re take all LOL . #bloggerproblems 

SKIN CARE

* Pixi Beauty Caroline's Double Cleanse ~ yes another Pixi product! This double cleanse is amazing! plus it saves time taking off the makeup :) We it did for me :) one side is solid oil and the other is cleansing balm. Go first with oil that melts off everything so easy and than go over with cleansing balm :) Definitely a must have in a skin care routine. (pr sample)

* Mario Badescu Botanical Exfoliating Scrub ~ guys I totally forgot I have this guy! lately I saw it all over IG and I was like "hey I think i have something by the brand!" I opened my drawer and there it was :)  It smells really good and gosh my face feels so good after :) I want to bring you up closer and there will be a full post dedicated to this scrub very soon :)

* Sunday Riley U.F.O Clarifying Face Oil and Martian Mattifying Toner ~  again these two will get a post on their own coz I have a lot to say :) Oily, prone skin friendly and overall i am pleased with them :) Ever since I got them They been staple in my skin care. For someone with oily skin this is a must have.  (pr sample) stay tuned for post :)

* Way of WILL Natural Deodorant ~ not precisely a skin care but well here we go a deodorant :) I liked it I really did. That's why I mention it here. But then one day I got burned! I don't know if it was this particular deodorant or something else. I disconnected using all products I used that day. It might not be its fault but still it took part of the burn that happened under my arms. Before it felt amazing. refreshing (that peppermint scent) I felt like my underarms were dry and not sweaty. I think it is a really good product. Its just that accident made me be afraid of using it again hahah silly me. But if you look for a good natural deodorant check this one out :)

HAIR CARE 

*Sexy Long Hair Dry Luxe Shampoo and  detangler ~ both are amazingly good! Dry shampoo helped me out the week I was sick (I didn't wash my hair for almost a week). When you sick You don't really take care much of your hair. Or if you like me and had fever (small) for 5 days you don't want to wash your hair. Thank god we have dry shampoos! oh and how I like this one! It gave my hair a boost of freshness and they looked great! It didn't leave any white cast on my hair which is a plus. The Luxe detangler helped a lot along with Eva's dry conditioner my daughter hair. Her hair is a mess! I don't know where she gets all the knots! but its so painful even for me to brush it through. Luxe detangler sprays cream on the hair to makes it brush easy and it does! the brush goes on smoothly and to brush out the knots takes few minutes. (pr sample)

* EVA NYC  Forget me Knot dry detangler ~ I love this stuff and I been recommending to everyone who ask me how to brush kids knots with out the struggle! One of the mommies at my daughter school she love this stuff. We always talk when we bring our kids to school and she said that she have a difficult time to brush her daughter hair. I told her about this and even brought one day with me :) I remember she was searching for it online and she found a great sale ($7 each reg. $14) and bought 3 bottles! I am actually running low on my and I have to repurchase it again :)  (pr sample)

* L'oreal Color Vibrancy Hair Mask ~  hair masks are a huge staple in my hair routine. I always always have to put a hair mask at the end of washing. Recently I been send this one by Influenster and I love it so much that I bought another one! It is creamy and it makes my hair so soft ! after using it few times I notice that my hair are less dry and more silky! sometimes you find gems in drugstore :) (pr sample)

NAILS

* KBShimmer Office Space Collection Take Back CTRL ~ love the formula of KBShimmer polishes :) This color though! Gorgeous dusty rose on mauve side. Cant wait to post the swatches of the whole collection :) Bare with me! I have a lot of posts coming this month :) (pr sample)

* Dip Into Pretty City Lights ~ halo glitter :) what more can I say :) This one need at least two -three coats. I really like it! Looks great with any nail color :) Plus super inexpensive :) (pr sample)

Sephora VIB Sale ~ My Wishlist

So on 11t Sephora VIB sale starts . I am trying to save up some $$$ and get what ever is on my long as hell wish list. And trust me my list looong! This is just a small amount of what I want LOL. 

Anyways Sephora does these kind of sales twice a year. One time in Spring and now. 

Both VIB ROuge and VIB gets 20% off! woohoo but with our NYC tax (8.879%) I get only 11% :( want to cry so bad... But oh well better that than nothing I guess. 

So here is my small wish list :)

1. Tarte Curl Boss Lash Essentials ~ I want this because I collect them . I have one from a year ago and one from two years ago. Plus it is cute !

2. Too Faced Let it Glow ~ one word . BRUSH. the only reason I want this set.

3. Becca Cosmetics Blushed with Light palette ~ I heard so much of Becca Blushes  so this is the best way to finally try them. 

4. Huda Beauty Eyeshadow palette Rose Gold edition ~ yes , just look at this baby ! I need it my life. I might add one or two lipsticks but need to decide on colors . 

5. Benefit Cheekathon Blush and Bronzer palette ~ I want this since it first came out. Just fiy all the products are full sized! talk about a great deal!

6. Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush Color Wheel ~ same with this palette want it since it first came out. I almost bought it twice . All blushes are new and they look fantastic!

7. Estee Edit Gritty and Glow palettes ~ I saw swatches on Trendmood and then Gigi (beatfacefridayy) and Fashionablyfayy  were talking about tis set so yeah I swatched it a sephora and yes I have to get it. 

8. Hourglass Ambient Light Surreal Light ~ ahhh that marble packaging :) come to mama! really want to try famous Hourglass products :) I kinda miss them in my collection :)

So yeah that is more less a list. I kinda want also NARS and Marc Jacobs ... andwell many more hahaha God the life of a beauty addict.
