Too Faced New Teddy Bare Palette ~ Swatches and Review ~ Do you really need another nude palette in your collection?

The new Teddy Bare Palette by Too Faced Cosmetics was not on my radar at all. The only reason I have it is because I got an amazing deal on it. 

But is this a palette that you need? I mean let's be honest, how many nude palettes do you own? I know I own quite a lot The amounts of palettes I have could compete with Sephora, like no joke. But back to Teddy palette. 

First thing that you will notice is just how small the palette really is. Seriously its really small... Even the shadow pans are tiny. I use fingers when I do swatches and I really had a tough time digging in it. The packaging is thin tho so it can be easily store and travel with. Outside on the cover you can find a cute teddy bear that is risen up. 

Once you open, you can see that the palette house 14 shadows. And can you see the small pans? the is a mixture of 10 mattes and 4 multi dimension metallics. And there is a scent like with most Too Faced Palettes. This one has a mixture of honey and graham crackers. I can smell honey more then crackers. The scent don't bother me, as it's not as strong. Plus when I was applying the shades it didn't last long.

Now my thoughts -  Let's start that I really like the shimmer shades coz duh they are shimmer shades and I love them no matter what. All 4 swatched and layered on the eyes beautifully. Mattes on the other hand were hits and misses. The lighter ones were ok, but the darker ones when I tried to layered them on in my outer corner, they didn't look so good. We have two creased colors that pans are a bit bigger than others. One is more beige-y gold and the other rose. As you look at the palette there are two directions the look can go - gold or rosey. But then again for the gold look it would be nice to have a chocolate brown shade to deepen the outer corner. Overall it is a cute palette, very nice and wearable color story, but the price seems a bit too high... It retails at $45 which in my opinion is a bit too steep... maybe $30-$35 would be a better price range.

Boxy Charm Premium May 2020 - Unboxing

May's theme for all Boxy boxes is Mother Nature. 

And we have a mini product in all full sized ( or what ever BC claims) box. 

I pay for Boxy Charm Premium $35 + tax every month. Overall value guaranteed is over $175 and 6-7 FULL SIZED PRODUCTS! yes full size you read that right. So my question is why on Earth BC put a mini product inside is beyond me... and I don't think that's the first time they did it... oh well ... Carry on... whats done its done.... At least they re-shipped my adds on that were lost in mail. So I gotta give them that. 

Anyways lets take a closer look at products included in my Premium for May. 

I must say it arrived so fast! Last month I got both my boxes super late and this? It;s not even 10th and Premium is here already and Base Box should be here on 11th. 

• Kevyn Aucoin The Expert Mascara - I had this mascara in the past and I remember really liking it. Kevyn Aucoin is fabulous brand and seriously some of their makeup products are amazing! I got few via Octoly and then purchased most on Sample Sales. This mascara have a weightless formula that's build-able and leaves lashes at their fullest. It is formulated with Japanese Camelia oil to fortify lashes and make them more elastic and resilient. I will check if I have an old tube of this mascara still with me, coz I don't want to open this yet.Also I think we might see more KA products in the future! I think that would be amazing! Retail $29

• Too Faced Cosmetics Chocolate Soleil Gold Bronzer - that was my choice item... but there was a mistake on BC website and well card as well. They listed this as a matte bronzer and I was hoping to get the matte one. I don't think this gold is my shade.... I realized too late that I got an email from BC saying that I could change my choice.. by the time I read it, it was over. Oh well, lets see if I can make this work. I would have to go in light handed. Retail $30

• Milk Makeup Glow Oil Lip + Cheek - this is the mini I was talking in the beginning. No idea why we got mini... once again ... when it should be a full sized products only... I dunno what are they trying ... but anyways this is a sheer, shimmering lip and cheek tint for  lit from within glow on the go. I like Milk Makeup so I guess I will give it a shot :) Retail $15

• Battington Beauty Powder and Contour Brush Set -  ok girls this retails for $90! two brushes for $90... I don't want to shame the company but come on... you are not Sonia G or Wayne Goss for which I would not mind to spend that much coz I know the quality would be amazing. I read so many comments on their overpriced lashes and the quality is not that good. So why charge so much for two brushes? maybe $30-$40 but not $90... i do think the brushes look good but not $90 good. 

• Tarte Sugar Rush Best But Lip Butter - this is so tiny and so unnecessary... I really don't need another lip balm. I love my Bite Beauty, Fresh and Laneige. I will keep this  for someones birthday or something. Or maybe my daughter will like it :) Retail $12

• Pureheals Centella 90 Ampule Serum -  ok so I am excited for this :) But it will take some time to open it as at this point I have so many serums out and opened. This is K- Beauty adn its a soothing serum containing 90% of centella asiatica extract. It supposed to relieves irritations of sensitive skin and strengthens the skin barrier. Retail $28

What do you guys think? The overall value of this box was $204, but I will say its $154 coz the brushes are not worth that $90... My variation was 44.

Too Faced Chocolate Gold Palette ~ swatches

Second post this year, and this time I show you my must have Too Faced Chocolate Gold Palette. 

Holy smokes this palette is breathtaking! Contains 16 shades - 4 mattes and 12 shimmer/foiled/metallic, that are infused with cocoa powder (yes it smells really yummy once you open it) and real gold. 

The colors are stunning! It is a nice wearable palette with few pops of colors. 

As to previous launch of White Chocolate Bar (which I won't be getting) I had a high expectation. And really it blew my socks off! I order it from Sephora website. I didn't even bother to go and swatch it. I usually do that. When new product launch I go to Sephora and "touch" it before I spend my money on it. 

The packaging is really beautiful! Its a regular Too faced Chocolate bar with a gold  chocolate melting all over  it. It looks really luxurious! The packaging is very sturdy plastic. Inside  you find a full sized mirror and of course beautiful shadows. 

I personally am a fan of all sparkle, shimmery, metallic shadows. All the colors in the palette give me life! They swatch beautifully and apply really good. I use either wet brush or my finger to get that full on metallic thing going on my eyes. The mattes are really nice as well.  There is not much fall out either :) really easy to apply, blends well. I dunno this my be the best palette that Too Faced came out with this far.  On the side note, during the 50% off sale at their website I ordered Sweet peach and Semi Sweet palette, that were missing in my collection :) I am really excited for them to get here :) I also feel tempted to buy clover Palette, I dunno I don't hear many great reviews, but the shadows really look appealing to me.

I think this palette is not only holiday friendly but well all year round friendly :) hahah that didn't made sense right ? You can totally use it for a day to day makeup. 

Valentine's Inspired ~ all about pink, red and rose gold

Valentine's is right around the corner. yeah like 3 days away and yes sorry for posting this so late. 

Valentine's is all about pink and red, hearts and cupids. :)  We celebrate Valentines at home since we have Sophia. We do exchange small gifts. My hubby will get us a flower and something extra :) Sophia is always getting chocolates and toy from me :) And now our doggie will get a cute bone with a bow :) Guys I love my dog :)
 I also pulled out few decorations and set them on my vanity, Few hearts hanging on my bed frame. Too bad I can't stay home :( But since I will be working I have to glam up right? 

I checked my stash and found few gems that can be used to make a VDAY prefect :) Definitely I will be using some of it to make myself look Valentine's ready  :) 

Naked 3 by Urban Decay, I really don't have to introduce this palette don't I? This is perfection when it comes to rosy shades. And I think this is a prefect choice for a VDAY eye look, don' you think?

My second and third options are palette by Too Faced ~ White Chocolate Chip and Bon Bons Palette.   White Chocolate Chip is a new palette that launched last year. I know it got many mixed reviews but I over all like it. Cute packaging and pretty shades. The only minus is the size. 

Chocolate Bon Bons well this palette scream VDAY! pink, cute, girly and heart shaped eye shadows are just so pretty! I be honest I haven't use this one in a while ... I think I need to pull her out and show her some love :)

Pretty pink blushes come up next. My choices are Too faced Funfetti blush which is just stunning :) Too Faced makes the best packaging and the best products :) I don't think there is a products I don't like. Although I have not try it all yet. Funfetti blush was available in a Funfetti Set that was sold on HSN last year. If you got it yay, if not well I hope they bring it back coz it is a must have for makeup collectors :)
 Stila Cosmetics Pretty In Pink Blush. Hello gorgeous! I love this blush even though I never touched it. The design is simply beautiful :) It was a limited edition from few years ago :) I bought mine off Nordstrom Rack for only $10. And than we have Essence Cosmetics Brit Tea Blush. Another my favorite :) My mom send it to me from Poland coz we don't get LE essence products. The rose design make it a VDAY worthy.
Becca Cosmetics Rose Quartz perfect for a VDAY glow :) Rose gold and well stunning! Add beautiful soft pink glow to the cheeks :)

Another a great option is NARS Unfiltered II blush palette :) Ah pretty pinky and mauvey shades :) Nars blushes are amazing!

My favorite part, LIPS! So many great pink and red lipsticks around! Here few of my choices :)
Lipsticks : YSL 55 (red) , YSL 19 (pink) and Clarins Rouge
Liquid Lipstick new by Allegory Story released for VDAY, lilac- pink called Cupido :)
Lip glosses : Apple's Eve (red) and Lady Una (hot pink) both by Allegory Story.

As for nails I have nail polishes and nail stickers.
Nail polishes new from Dip Into Pretty :) Love the formula and the colors. Dry fast and opaque in two coats. There will be a full post dedicated to them soon.

Sephora VIB Sale ~ My Wishlist

So on 11t Sephora VIB sale starts . I am trying to save up some $$$ and get what ever is on my long as hell wish list. And trust me my list looong! This is just a small amount of what I want LOL. 

Anyways Sephora does these kind of sales twice a year. One time in Spring and now. 

Both VIB ROuge and VIB gets 20% off! woohoo but with our NYC tax (8.879%) I get only 11% :( want to cry so bad... But oh well better that than nothing I guess. 

So here is my small wish list :)

1. Tarte Curl Boss Lash Essentials ~ I want this because I collect them . I have one from a year ago and one from two years ago. Plus it is cute !

2. Too Faced Let it Glow ~ one word . BRUSH. the only reason I want this set.

3. Becca Cosmetics Blushed with Light palette ~ I heard so much of Becca Blushes  so this is the best way to finally try them. 

4. Huda Beauty Eyeshadow palette Rose Gold edition ~ yes , just look at this baby ! I need it my life. I might add one or two lipsticks but need to decide on colors . 

5. Benefit Cheekathon Blush and Bronzer palette ~ I want this since it first came out. Just fiy all the products are full sized! talk about a great deal!

6. Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush Color Wheel ~ same with this palette want it since it first came out. I almost bought it twice . All blushes are new and they look fantastic!

7. Estee Edit Gritty and Glow palettes ~ I saw swatches on Trendmood and then Gigi (beatfacefridayy) and Fashionablyfayy  were talking about tis set so yeah I swatched it a sephora and yes I have to get it. 

8. Hourglass Ambient Light Surreal Light ~ ahhh that marble packaging :) come to mama! really want to try famous Hourglass products :) I kinda miss them in my collection :)

So yeah that is more less a list. I kinda want also NARS and Marc Jacobs ... andwell many more hahaha God the life of a beauty addict.

Too Faced Melted Liquid Lipstick ~ Candy Cane ~ Holiday Collection

Let's stay in Holiday Spirit a bit more. I want to show you new Limited edition Too Faced Melted Liquid Lipstick in shade Candy Cane.  As I said it is limited edition and it launched with all Too Faced Holiday Collection 2016.  For Holiday collections Too Faced is the best. I don't know I love the brand :) I kinda missed out on last year collection. I was a little bit broke coz of all the bills and all so I couldn't afford any. This year I promised myself to get whatever I can from my holiday wishlist. From Ulta i am planning to pick up TF holiday palette and lipstick set and Let it Glow trio. I am considering to get Chocolate Shop as well (sephora exclusive) but I dunno I heard mixed reviews :( So I will see if I have any $$$ after I get what I want and I might pick up Chocolate Shop as well.

Now lets me get back to this gorgeous lipstick :) This is my very first Melted Liquid lipstick. I know Too Faced released many shades but my sophora carry only regular melted lipsticks not the liquid ones. I wanted to order online but well I want to swatch colors first. 

When I saw this one on a holiday display i took it without swatching :) The cute packaging and well the color is sooo xmasy! Too Faced describe this shade as a festive red but it actually is a raspberry bright pink.  SO I don;t know where they see red .. anyways I love the color.

It comes in festive red pink candy cane packaging with red and black accents. The lipstick is just as the ones in permanent line but the top is limited edition candy cane swirl :) or should I say pink ad red swirl. Now on the box it says that lipstick is peppermint mocha scented and ... it is :) I get hint of peppermint and mocha :) I read/heard in other bloggers reviews thier lipstick was lacking the scent. 

My does have it for sure. It is not overwhelming or anything but it is there. 

I don't know if the formula is same as the other melted liquid lipstick in collection but if it is I will be getting more. 

It applies really nice. full opaque color. Feels hydrating and not drying (thumbs up Too Faced). It set nicely on my lips and stays there for about 7h. I did have a lunch in between but hello still on mah lips :)  

This lipstick is a fun and sexy and my holiday this year will be raspberry pink :) 

And yeah I will be getting few for my family as a xmas gifts :)

Too Faced Christmas in New York ~ Grande Hotel Cafe ~ Holiday Makeup Set

Christmas is right around the corner and most of the companies released all they holiday makeup sets. I am super excited for Too Faced of course and this year I plan to but them all. 

I went to Sephora last week and well holiday sets were not out on the display yet but a lovely salesperson told the have a bunch of them downstairs and she can get me whatever I want. I asked for Too Faced and then $49 later cute holiday cafe house was mine. Whats Christmas without Too Faced?

This year theme is Christmas in New York. And Christmas in New york is amazing. I live in NYC for almost 10 years now and I love Christmas time. There is no better place than NYC when it comes for Xmas vacation. 

Now let's get back to the set now. 

Like always Too Faced packaging and cute design is on point. Two tones pink hotel with teal rooftop and dark sky with gold stars and moon. In the middle there is teal wreath with gold ornaments, pink bow and gold bells. :) On the other side Teal christmas tree with gold ornaments. Once you remove top both doors swings open and you can see a cafe inside along with three palettes and sample size of best selling Better Than Sex Mascara. Cafe itself looks so nice and you just want to have a holiday latte in there, sit down and enjoy yourself. Everythings is kept in similar tones like pink, teal and gold. The floors are checkerboard style. On one side we have a couple sitting and drinking  lattes In the middle bar with some cakes, drinks and look at the doggie sitting on the stool :) I am pretty sure that is Clover Jerrod's dog :) *somehow I don;t have an open door palette pic, I swear I took it LOL. anyways if you follow me on Ig you will see it there for sure :)

Now lets move on to the palettes. There are three in total. Eggnog Latte, Gingerbread Latte and Peppermint Latte. and OMG just look how gorgeous they are! and they do smell like eggnog, gingerbread and peppermint! say what?!?1 crazy right? I just want to bit into them LOL! Each palette can be given as individual gift too :) 

Eggnog Latte ~ teal cardboard with pink ornaments and gold detailing. Inside there is 6 eyeshadows ( 2 matte and 4 shimmer and a blush) OMG it smells amazing! 

Gingerbread Cookie ~ brown cardboard with cute gingerbread men, gingerbread star and christmas tree cookies and gold star detailing ( sam on all 3 palettes ). Inside we have 6 eyeshadows ( 3 matte and 3 shimmers and bronzers )Again it smells so yummy! 

Peppermint Mocha ~ pink cardboard packaging with white and pink candy cane and peppermint cookies. Again we have same detailing that goes on every palette. Inside again 6 eyeshadow ( 2 matte and 4 shimmers ) and a blush. Smells so good you guys I really want to run to Starbucks and grab a latte.
