Boxy Charm Unboxing - June, July, August 2020 - what I got in my boxes

Three months worth of Boxy Charm in one post. 

Lately I been having issues with Boxy deliveries. I get my boxes super late its not even funny... Since June they been showing up by the end of the month.. But my August Base box came on September 5th... Again Covid is to blame... but on the other hand my IPSy get here before the 10th of every month ... so Covid my a**... Anyways I am waiting for my September boxes now (uhmmm my IPSY is here already ..) and that post will be up later ... unless I don't get them on time it will be up few moths later in the same form as this one. 

Even tho I complain on my boxes getting here late, the products I get are amazing. Boxy is really stepping their game and they keep getting awesome brands and feature their products in the box. I mean wait and see! I will give you over all whats inside in the particular box, and my thought on the items I tried. Btw I will have an awesome announcement in my IPSY box round up :) 

JUNE BOXES - THEME OASIS 

LUXE BOX

The lux box was a hit in JUNE. I was really happy with it as well as I was happy with the picture I took LOL. I know I am so full of myself LOL but who cares! this is one of my better pictures :) my box included following:

* Tarte Tartiest Pro Amazonian Palette - finally the Remix palette got her sister :) This is pretty warmed tone, matte palette. Perfect for everyday and perfect in par with the Remix palette we got back last year. Retail value $49

* Kylie Skin Face Wash - tbh I couldn't care less for this one. I don't support that brand and I gave my away. Retail $24

* Malin + Goetz Recovery Treatment Oil - this stuff is pricey and it's waiting (still sealed) for its turn. I have a lot of skin care opened at this point so it have to wait.Reviews are good on this so cant wait! Retail value $82

* Purlisse BB Cream - I already own it and I really like it. Especially during hot and humid New York summer. Was really happy when I saw this in my box. Retail value $35

* Lily Lashes Mascara - that one was one of my choice items. I have not open it yet but I know that Lily Lashes makes an amazing lashes so hoping the mascara will be just as fabulous. Retail value $24

* Billion Dollar Brows Brush set - not gonna lie they do look good., but I have not used them yet. Well if I don't they will make a prefect Christmas gift :) Retail value $55

*Bodyography lip pencils - Ugh lip pencils and eye liners ... I hate them in my boxes coz I don't use them ... the colors are so pretty tho ugh I wish there were lipsticks instead! Come on Bodyography please make lipsticks in these shades! Retail value 28

* Hallmart Collectibles Satin pillow case and eye mask set - I LOVE this! This one my other choice and gosh I am so happy with this cute set! Retail value $50

PREMIUM BOX 

This premium box was such a hit, just because everyone got TF Contour palette as well as Glow Recipe Avocado Melting mask. 

* Skin & Co Shower Gel - oh me and my hubby love the fresh scent of this shower gel. We went through one bottle already and I repurchased the second one. It has a notes of fresh lemongrass and guys anything with lemon has my name on it. Retail $22

* Glow Recipe Avocado Melt Retinol Sleeping mask - I am so happy to see yet another one of Glow Recipe products. I have a small sample size back when I purchased a Holiday kit and I really like it :) Retail $49

* Too Faced Cocoa Contour Palette - Again so happy to see another amazing TF products. I pulled my out and I used less then 5 times coz ..hi New York hot and humid summer that melts my makeup..Fall is coming and this baby is moving up to my everyday drawer :) Retail $44

* Kat von D lipstick - the choices were not that good this time around. I went with KVD lippe coz I do like the formula of them . Retail  $20

* Kat Von D Liquid Liner - ink well long wear matte eye liner .. I sold this one to friends friend. Like I said I don't wear eye liners... Retail value $20

* Billion Dollar Brow Sculpting dual ended brush - guys I almost threw that one away...well I did so I had to run outside and dig in the garbage can ... It got wrapped with the trash and I only realized I was missing it coz I look at the pamphlet. Geez. Retail value $35

JULY BOXES - THEME SUNSHINE 

BASE BOX 

Not happy at all with this box ... 

* PUR Cosmetics Festival 2 palette - I like this one . this one of the two products I was actually happy to get. Colors are so much fun but I have not played with it yet. Retail $36

* Clean Skin Club Vitamin C Brightening Booster - this is the second one I was happy to get and it was my choice item for the month. Retail value $50

*Ciate London Everyday Vacay Coconut Setting Spray - I would like it more if it was not so matte. I ca't really use dewy sprays coz my skin is already oily ... such a shame ... Retail value $22

* Lavish Beauty "Color switch" -  this is the next products are so pointless... why would they include two accessories ? I understand if you want to throw in one but two ? Come on! I already have 3 color switches ... I have no need  for this one . sadly this one will have to find a new home along with the next products. Retails $15  

*Chella Slanted tweezers - I used to work with Tweezrman and I have enough of tweezers .. Do you get why I am so frustrated ? silly color switch and tweezers .. they just throw it just to add up the value . These tweezers retail for $20

This one was a bit better then the base but still two products were not for me...

* Byroe Bitter Green Essence toner - I was hoping to get this one. I didn't open it yet but I heard its good! In September box there is Tomato Serum and I can't wait ti get my hands on it. Retail value $95

* Morphe x Manny MUA palette - as much as I don't like Manny the palette is rather cute. I love the highlighters and I still have to play with the rest of the palette. Retail $20

*Kennia Ontiveros Beauty Blush Palette - this one was my choice and wow I LOVE it! what a stunning palette! Guys I been on the blush kick lately. There was also a bronzer palette available. I will insert picture and guys let m know what you think? Should I get it? Retail $42

* Folly Fire lipstick trio - these are so beautiful! wow ... again I am so happy to have them in my box. Colors are so up my alley and I can't wait to wear them more . Retail value $40

* Laura Geller Beauty line and define dual dimension eyeliner - pass for me ... LOL yup you see another eyeliner ... oh well I will give it to someone as a Christmas gift :) Retail $24

*Boxy Charm Neon Jelly makeup bag - like seriously? IPSY gives bags for free and BOXY adds it in a value... ugh... I mean I kept my and i made a use out if it . Retail $20 (I don;t think so)...

I was happy with the box. especially coz it had concealer and that Violet Voss palette I been wantig since I saw the sneak peek.

* Too Faced Born this Way Concealer - this one was my choice for the month. Finally I can tried the concealer that everyone seems to love it. Retail $29

* Violet Voss Essentials 2 Palette - I was hoping for this palette. Colors are stunning and up my alley. We got similar palette last year but it was colorful. Retail $36

* Clarins Velvet lip Perfector - the bestselling Natural Lip Perfectors went bold with the new matte finish. Its a weightless mousse that delivers highly pigmented velvety finish. Retail $26

* Minetan Body Skin Hydra Glow Serum - first time seeing this brand. But its is a triple action  HA formula delivering time resealed multi depth hydration for fully hydrated skin that glows. Retail  $45

* Rockins Cosmetics Big Fat Liner - yay another liner, oh gee! another product that will be passed along to someone in need of a liner. Retail $25

So happy! Two Too Faced products in one month! Nice Boxy!

* Sunday Riley A + High Dose Retinol Serum - We start Premium with a bang! This is the first time Boxy has Sunday Riley products. I got few in IPSY already. Again it just sits for now I need to go and see what I have open now.. Retail $85

* Ciate London New England Editor Palette - Inspired by New England's Fall features super soft and bendable shades. Mix of matte and shimmers.But tbh packaging is tacky. It reminds me of MUR if you know what I mean.  Overall I like the color story. Retails $32

* Too Faced Born this Way Translucent Setting Powder - yay another TF product! and now I have the whole set of Born this Way products. Retail $33

* MAC Lipstick - woohoo! I am always happy with MAC lipsticks :) I got my in the shade Fast Play . Retails $19

*Laura Geller Eyelash primer - I opened this one but its meh... it smudges .. Retail $24

* Afterspa - Slip on Exfoliator - ehhh another meh product that I don't think I need.. dunno let me open it and try it. Retail $18

Two palettes in one Box?!? - Boxy Charm LUXE unboxing *March 2020*

March is the LUXE month, which means bigger box, bigger value. 

Boxy Luxe comes every three months, so next one will be in June :)

Anywho lets jump in and let me show you what I got in my box :)

As you can tell by the tittle there were two eyeshadow palettes in this month box. How exciting! I am a freaking eyeshadow hoarder LOL. 

The first palette was the choice item. Each month Boxy let you choose an item that you would like in your box. The choices were between mini hair tool, Murad cream, Tarte Eye Shadow palette and something else ... Don't remember what was the other option. 

I choose the Tarte "Tarteist Pro Remix Amazonian Clay" Palette - 20 beautiful and vibrant shades. The packaging is so freaking cool! Paint splatter all over that have this cover that shifts. Colors inside are absolutely stunning as you can see. I mean it might not be every ones cup of tea but I adore it. I heard so many positive reviews so I need it to have it :) Thanks BOXY :)

Second palette I got and everyone else who are subscribed to LUXE got the Hello Charmer palette by Boxy Charm - beautiful palette that contains 12 matte and shimmer shades that are inspired by all things Boxy Charm.

 Already by looking at I can see many great looks I can do. I am super excited and can't wait to get back to you with a full review of this baby. Stay tuned!

Lets move on to the other good products in the box:

Nars Powermatte Lip Pigment - this is the first time we are seeing NARS products and I hope not the last. I got my in the shade Wild Night, which is nice dark, vampy dark purple / eggplant color. Oh hello I sucks at describing colors LOL. but seriously this is the second NARS lipstick from this line that I own and I really like it. You guys now that I like to buy makeup that was included in boxy but not in my box on various Facebook group and I picked up two more shades of this lippie. Cant wait for them to get here so I can work on swatches and full on review :)

PMD Beauty Smart Facial Cleaning Device - silicon device that cleans your face with 7,000 vibrations per minute. It has 4 speeds. I dunno I love my Michael Todd cleaning devices. I never got the hype over silicon devices tbh. I will try it and see how it work and if it is worth the $99 that claim to be the retail....

Bombshell Baker Glitzy Gold Steel Straws Set - that was another choice. It was either this or Appeal lip/eyeliner... I went with straws. I can find better use of of them then the lip/eye liner. Also is throwing in stuff like straws, cups and earrings in the boxes ... like huh? Why? If I want these kind of stuff I would subscribed to Fab Fit Fun box.. BOXY stick to skin care/ hair care and makeup ok?

Becca Skin Love Glow Glaze Stick - ughhhh another cream highlighter that I don't use and don't need. Love Becca but pass.

Deborah Lippman Nail polish set - oh hi this is the first time I am getting nail polish in my box. I really like formula of DL nail polishes. I already own few.  Now her full size polishes are 15ml. this set contains two that are 8ml each ... deluxe size.... which is kinda odd as BOXY is a FULL SIZE BOX? since when do they send sample sizes? I mean two sample size can' t make full size. the value of this set is $19. and DL polishes usually go for $18-$20.. not sure what BOXY is trying to do ... Plus I feel these should have been send in the previous box for February ... 

Another deluxe sample that was thrown in the box was Sol De Janerio - oh how disappointing! two tiny creams that a half full. they put retail value for $15 .. that makes $7.50 each... Full size cream is $40 , travel size that is bigger then these minis is $20 ... so I don;t get it ... When did BOXY become IPSY? Anyone? Why paying $50 for a box where you get two deluxe size products. BOXY is all about Full Size ... 

SO here it is my whole LUXE box that I paid $50 for it. Now was it worth it? Yes and No. We have seen better LUXE boxes in the past. Way better .... This is my 4th LUXE and I am not happy with it. I know BOXy wants to add different products like straws, earrings, candles, slippers, socks and god know what else. .. Yes I did get a survey asking if I want to see those items ... I said NO to all except candles :) Candles are fine but rest pointless....   Just fyi Base Box this month was amazing! And next month Base box will have ZOEVA palettes! Im so excited for it . 

Boxy Charm - November, December, January and February ... and where I was *life update*

Hello everyone! missed me? Gosh I have been long for soooo long! Feels like forever and well I miss all of you and well I missed blogging! 

As I mentioned months ago my laptop died, or my daughter actually spilled water on it... Lucky my in law had an oldie laptop so they were kind enough and let us use it...until it crashed.... There was a lot of issues before I got it... to start it I had to RESTART it 10 times... and it was slow, like really slowwwww.... But hey it worked... until the hard drive crashed... 

I was planning to get a new one asap but we were tight on the budget and well sales come and go. Finally, today I dragged my hubby to Best Buy and I got myself really adorable Chromebook! It HP and its white and gold and I adore it.

How cute right!?!?!

So now that I am back lets start with my posts. 

First I would like to share my Boxy Charm boxes. My last post was October box. 

So lets start with November and make our way to my most recent February boxes. 

In November we got few awesome goodies. I can even give you a small review because I tried most of the products that we got. 

NOVEMBER 2019 - box theme STELLAR 

* Dominique Cosmetics - Celestial Thunder Eyeshadow Palette -  my first impression - OMG! That is one gorgeous palette.  I was really happy to received it. The last, turquoise shade is stunning! and one of the most used in that palette. I love it on the lower lash line. Other shades are just as good and just as pretty. I know its not everyone cup of tea but I really did enjoyed it.  Retain $35

* Boxy Charm - 2 pc Brush Set  -  ok so BC started creating makeup and makeup products, who knew! Brushes are really cool, but since I have so many already, I will be sending them to my mom :) I hope she can have a better use of them than me.  Retail $35

* Dose of Color Liquid Lipsticks in the shade Date Night - oh my! I love a good red lip. I can't even tell you how many times I wore this beauty!!! Countless! It the perfect red, and it looks so freaking beautiful on. I love the formula and how easy it is to apply. Dose of Colors did so good with it. Retail $18

* Kypris Antioxidant Dew and Quench Serum - Happy to have it, but it is still sitting in the box for "later". At this point I have so many serums open, and it is only wise to keep this baby for "later".

* HaruHaru Wander Maqui Berry Antioxidant Masks - I believe this was set of either 2 or 3 masks. Not sure but I gifted them all to my friends. I have tones of masks already, so this was a great add on in my Christmas goodies bags. Retail $9

DECEMBER 2019 - box theme WHIMSY 

BOXY LUXE and BOXY PREMIUM 

Oh yes! December is a Luxe box ( upgrade happens every 3 months) and I was off the wait list for PREMIUM box. Boxy introduced Premium box in November 2019 and everyone went crazy. This box retails at $35 and includes 6-7 products. Standard box is $25 - 5 products, and Luxe $50 and 8-9 products. 

Lets start with PREMIUM box 

* Dose of Colors - Hidden Treasure palette - The other option was ND Cranberry palette (no worries I bought that one afterwords). Dose of Colors formula is so good! Love the metallic shades in this palette. NOt to crazy about the layout but dang the quality is amazing. Retail $50

* Basic Beauty - Highlighting Palette - Im kind meh about it tbh. I dunno I used only once and I was not crazy about. I think it should give a wet look but I dunno , I might pull it out again and see if I change my mind. If not I need to look for a new home for it.  Its pretty to look at but basically that's it. Retails $30

* Glow Recipe - Watermelon Glow Moisturizer - yum yum yum. Love getting high end skin care in these boxes. I love Glow Recipe so much! and this baby packs so much moisture! Smells so good and seriously my skin feels so freaking good after words. Retail $39

* SkinFix Face balm - I don't have this one anymore. But I can tell you that Skinfix is one of the best skin care brands on the market. Retail $28

*Laneige Eye Sleeping Mask - oh men I really wanted to keep it, but I gifted this to my bestie for Xmas and she loves it! Laneige is again amazing skin care brand, and I do have few products in my routine already :) Retail $34

* KVD Beauty - Cake Pencil - also I gifted to the same bestie for Xmas. I don't wear eye liners like never. And this was my 3rd or even 4th liner in the boxes.... Really Boxy check peoples quizzes... Retail $20

BOXY LUXE 

* Storybook Cosmetics - Little Briar Rose Palette - well well Storybook made their debut in Boxy. I think every Luxe box came with this palette. I know Base box had variation between Red Ridding Hood and Robin Hood palette. And well I bought both afterwards because I love the shades. 

Little Briar Rose is beautiful and inspired by Sleeping Beauty Fairy Tale. I love the shades and just aesthetic of the palette. Wish wasn't so bulky. Retail $55

* Ciate London Marble Blush in the shade HALO - guys I can't put this blush down. I was never a blush person but now... I only keep buying blushes... I love the beautiful mauve tone of it. and it look so good on my fair skin. I want rest of the shades asap . Retail $26

* Elemis Pro-Collagen Rose Facial Oil - this product is fabulous. I actually am planning on creating separate post including this oil. I can;t recommend this enough. My sister in law didn't get it in her bx and she bought it in the add on and guys she loves it ! This oil became a staple in my routine.  Retail $79

* Fresh Soy Face Cleaner - I don't think I have to introduce to anyone this product. It is a cult fave and for a good reason. For me this is my third bottle. I love this cleaner. Very gentle and wash face so good and leaves it really soft and clean. Retail $42 

* Rituals - Ritual of Sakura shower gel - yum yum this smells divine and its so silky! my whole family loves it and I had to get a back up of it. Thank God its only $9.

* IGK First Class Dry Shampoo - lots of people on social media swears by this brand and this dry shampoo. It is good but I love my Batiste and I don't think any dry shampoo can replace it. Retail $27

* Too faced Melted Metallic Liquid Lipsticks - not a fan of metallic formula so I swap this with my sister in law. She got the Crazy Rich lip gloss that i adore so much!!! So yeah I am happy that I made a change :) Retail $21

* KVD Dagger Liquid Liner - liners are a no for me like I mentioned above. And I don't have any more. Retails $20

*QMS Lip Corrector Serum - another product that I don't have anymore. Retail $200 .... I would never paid that much for anything ...

JANUARY 2020 - Box theme BREAKING THE ICE 

Base Box 

* Ace Beaute - Vintage Dawn Eye shadow palette - other option was Scarlet Dusk, which I purchased in add on. Amazing palettes both of them.Formula is really good and colors stunning! Retail $35

* Pretty Vulgar Concealer - haven't used yet. I don't use concealers often so I don't feel like I need it.

*Manna Kadar Liquid Lipstick - same goes for this lippie, I have not used it. I set aside and can gift it to someone. Plus I am not a fan of this brand. I got many products before in other boxes and it was always mehhhh .... Retail $21

* Skin and Co - Truffle Therapy Face Gommage - on the other had I am a really big fan of this brand. They were kind enough and sent over few goodies few months back and I really enjoyed it. I have second bottle of this (my sis in law got two) and I will be sending it to my momma :) Retails $28

* Avant 8h Radiance Sleeping Mask - I have not yet tried this product by Avant, but I have some other one open on my vanity and I absolutely love it. I think its a day cream with HA. I wear it every day under my makeup, So so so good! This mask retails for $107!

Premium Box

* Too Faced Palm Springs Palette - so happy to have this baby in my collection. Thanks God I waited and didn't buy it when it first came out. As of now I have not yet open it. I have so many palettes that I need to try and review that this one was set aside for now. I might do Best of The Best of palettes that came in Boxy Charm at some point. Retail $45

* Natasha Denona Duo Chrome top coat - I was meh about it until I put it on my eyes. When swatched not so good, when on the eyes on top of eye shadow ..wow! Its so pretty and so sparkly! I actually really like it and been using it almost every day I do makeup. Retail $28

* Billion Dollar Brows - Best Seller Kit - hmmm I already have my favorite brow products so this I was not crazy excited. I might pass this along .Retail $42

* Farsali Liquid Glass Serum - I believe this is new by the brand and  my very first Farsali product. This and the next three products I will mention are still sealed. But I am tempted to open them all :) Farsali Retail $54

* Tula Skin Care Keep it Clean Acne Foam Cleaner - I am really excited to try this. But again I don't want to open it coz I have like over 10 cleansers open at the moment. It have to wait. Retail $34

* Bliss Pore Patrol Mask - this on the other had I might open sooner then later. Bliss is the brand I been eyeing for quite some time. And to have this and Tula in the box is amazing! Retail $18

FEBRUARY 2020 - Box theme ADORE 

Base Box 

* Iconic London Day to Slay Eye shadow palette - 20 beautiful and very romantic shades in this palette. I have not yet to play with it but seriously I am leaving it out for next week. I think this palette goes so well with ADORE theme. Retail $62

* Luxie Beauty - Sponge Set - Another product that I left in its box. The second option was the Alamar brush set I really wish I could that instead. Don't get me wrong I love LUXIE but darn it the other set was calling me more. At the moment i have not yet decided what will I do with these. Either keep or send to my mom. Retail $40

* Ciate London Everyday Vacay Coconut Setting Powder - since my box got here last week I am pulling this baby out as well and will be testing it out the up coming week. Retail $22

* Laura Geller - Baked Gelato Highlighter in the shade Gilded Honey - I already own this cult classic. Its a beautiful gold highlighter. Formula is amazing! And since I already have it I will be

gifting this to my mom :) Lets hope she likes it :) Retail $26

* Evio - Refreshing Cleanings Hemp Wipes - new brand to me. Right now I am finishing my Purlisse watermelon wipes so as soonest I am done with it I will open these. Retail $10

Premium Box 

*Karity Picante Eye shadow palette - wooooow! what a beautiful palette this is! I know a lot of people over on social raves about this palette and how Karity don't get enough hype. I love the shade selection and when I swatched metallic I was blown away! This palette is also making way to my basket for upcoming week . Retail $29

* Glow Recipe - watermelon Glow Ultra Fine Mist - another cult classic and favorite. And yum this mist is really really ultra fine. And it smells so good. I am super happy to have another Glow Recipe product in my box woohoo .Retail $28

* Hourglass Ambient Lightning Blush - my shade I got is Diffused Heat and wow! Over Holidays I purchased Ghost Blush palette by Hourglass and I fell in love with the quality and performance of the blushes. I actually went ahead and purchased Dim Infusion and Radiant Magenta blushes. I am also looking into  getting Mood Exposure as well. Ugh gotta love it! Retail $40

*Tarte Cosmetics Double Duty Base Tape Hydrating Primer - this looks so good! but at the moment I have so many primers open and this baby is not that cheap so I will keep it for "later" . Retail $30

*Korres Body Butter - OMG this smells amazing! I got my in Guava and yum smells so good ! sinks in the skin and leaves it hydrated. I am eyeing scent Lemon and Basil scent. Retail $32

* Faccia 24k Gold Foil Moisturizer - now this moisturizer involves a lots of DRAMA. and to be honest I don;t want to even try it on my face... It will take me forever to write so just search it up on YouTube, do it while the tea is hot. Retails $100 ... Nahhhhh .... $2 sounds much better....

Boxy Luxe - All Access - September 2019 *unboxing*

woohoo!My second Boxy Luxe arrived just few hours ago. I was really excited! All the sneak peeks and spoilers got me really excited! And this month didn't disappoint! August Boxy Charm was a flop. September is amazing! I got all that I wanted. If I want any other products variation I can simply visit few Facebook groups, there is always some one who what's to sell their stuff, and there will I be, ready with my money!

So enough with me talking to much let me show you what I got this month :)

* Dr Brandt Hydro Biotic Recovery Sleeping Mask - this is my second product from Dr.Brandt. Im not mad as I love their products. The oxygen bubble mask is a HG !!! This is a new release from the brand and it was in every single box.Woohoo! This is a hydrating recovery sleeping mask that balances skin naturally occurring flora and locks in moisture overnight to reduce redness and soothe the signs of irritation. Again I am excited to try this. Retail $52.00

* Glow Recipe Pineapple-C Bright Serum - there was this serum or Sunday Riley Tidal cream. I was really torn between both, but I had to pick one during the survey BC sent two months ago.
