Rose Gold Obsessed ~ Biore Rose Quartz and Georgette Klinger ~ skin care review

*gifted*

After being off for so many moths I have a lot to catch up.  I have few post pre-written and hopefully I will be able to publish twice to three times a week. Trust me there is a lot I want to share with you.

This post combines to brands - Biore skin care that is more affordable and Georgette Klinger which is  more pricey.

Lets start with Biore and their Rose Quartz line. This was sent over to me as a part of Octoly campaign.

BIORE SKIN CARE

This is my first time trying anything from Biore. I had a nose patches before, but skin care wise this is my first time. Hello newbie!
I actually want to start that even if I haven't got these sent to me I would definitely purchase it.
First thing that would land in my cart would be Rose Quartz + Charcoal Gentle Pore Refining Scrub. If you know me, you know I love scrubs. Well not only me but my husband loves it too. We both been really liking this one. You need tiny amount of it.  The scrub looks so pretty tho. I sorry I have to mention it. It pink and sparkly just as quartz. My hubby is not a fan of the sparkly stuff, but hey the scrub works really good so he don;t mind it as much now. Aside from looking pretty it smells so nice. It is really a pleasure to work with it. I like to focus on my pore area, nose and forehead with this scrub. I saw improvements in my skin within few uses (FYI I only use it one or twice a week). Once I am done with scrubbing I like to follow up my routine using Biore Rose Quartz + Charcoal Daily Purifying Cleanser- and yes I am a fan as well. In my night time routine I use it with my Michael Todd brush, in the morning my cleanser changes more often then during night time. But if I use it in the morning I just use my fingers. It is really gentle, pink sparkly cleanser. Smells wonderful and leaves skin feeling clean. I like that this series is great for oily skin :) I been using this for more then two weeks now and I am happy how my skin feels and looks. Out of all line these two are my top picks.

Now lets move on to so-so and least favorite products.
Biore Rose Quartz + Charcoal Facial Cleaning Bar - If this was not sent to me I would not be picking this up. Overall I am not a fan of bar soaps. I don;t mind if they are body, but face I rarely use. I did give it a shot tho, and will say I was pleasantly surprised. Just like the cleanser it left my skin feeling fresh and clean. I am thinking tho, since I don;t want it to go to waste I might include it in my morning routine. Let me see if my daughter would like to use it.
The last products in this series and complete fail for me is the Biore Rose Quartz + Charcoal Gentle Marshmallow Foam Cleanser - I did not like it at all. Maybe coz foam cleanser are not my favorite overall. There were few in the past that I actually liked. This I feel did nothing.  Plus I got weird reaction from it. No idea why?  The previous products were really good and this nah.

Georgette Klinger Skin Care

Moving on to new brand that I discovered via Join Palm platform - Georgette Klinger. Now I not sure how to assign this. I got the products via Join Palm (influencers platform) and I paid small fees (less then $2 for each product).
I have 4 products to talk about , the fifth one is March campaign and I should be getting it in next 2 weeks.

Lets start with my first product that I got - Phytic Exfoliating Mask ~ a clay based mask that refreshes complexion and purifies pores while gently exfoliating skin. I  really was impressed by the brand and the mask. I mean I love the aesthetics of the products. Very minimal but at the same time they draw attention. This mask is wonderful and does wonders to my skin. I put on for about 10 min and then take if off. Skin feels so soft, fresh and hydrated. I am so happy to have it my collection and my routine. ($34)

Next product is Retinol PM ~ a must have in the night time routine. I seriously fell in love with this moisturizer. Its lightweight and absorbs really fast. Its infused with Vitamin E (healing and moisturizing) Shea Butter and Rosehip Seed Oil (rich in vitamins and essential fatty acids). This moisturizer target more mature skin, but hey I will be 33 in next few days so hello I need to start taking care of my skin. Definitely a staple in anti aging routine for any one.  ($68)

Now lets talk toners. I have a lot  lot lot of toners in my arsenal. Vitamin C toners are some of my favorites. Overall Vitamin C skin care is amazing. Don't argue with me it it. What I notice the most with this toner is that it calmed my skin. It look less red then it usually do. The main ingredients are Kakadu Plum ( one of the worlds riches source of vitamin c- works to form a defensive shield of antioxidants to protect complexion against free radicals) Aloe, Witch Hazel, watercress and Elderflower - clam skin, removing excess oil, dirt, makeup and pollutants. It smoothes and softens skin leaving it refresh and ready for next steps in the routine. ($26)

The last product I have is new. I got it last month and I was not able to test it thoroughly. Its the Acne Spot Relief - I tell you when I have something for acne , my pimples are gone and won't come out. But when I dont have anything, bam my face is out of control. Seriously! makes no sense, but here we are. Let me just tell you what it does and once I try it on on actual pimples I will update most likely on my Instagram. It formulated with Salicylic Acid and Lactic Acid that dissolve pore-blocking dead skin cells to penetrate the skin delivering antiseptic and healing Tea Tree Oil- this acne fighting essential oil kill the bacteria that causes acne. Soothing Witch Hazel and Chamomile keep redness and acne inflammation under control. I am really hoping to get pimples soon so I can try it and see how effective it really is. Fingers crosses!

So that will be it for my Rose Gold Obsessed skin care post. Let me know did anything caught your eye? What would like to try yourself?

Testing Two New Makeup Removers ~ SkinFix, Clove + Hallow

*pr sample*

Let's talk makeup removers.
I love trying new makeup, and the "removing" part is important to me, and I bet for anyone else.
Leaving makeup on your skin or any so called "left overs" may cause breakouts and other not fun stuff. I know it happen to me many times. You come home late, really tired and trying your best to take off whats left of your makeup. Sometime you just pass out and let it be. Don't.  Don't leave your makeup on. Trust me take that extra 5 min and clean your face. Clean skin, happy skin.

I know the micellar waters are one of the best makeup removers out there. I personally find them so easy and so convenient.  But , as you can tell, today i will focus on oil based removers. I have two to talk  about, as they are great and fast!

* SkinFix Foaming Oil Cleanser ~ I discovered this brand last year at Ipsy Gen Beauty. This Oil Cleanser was sent to me a while back and tbh I been loving it ever since. It is really gentle on the skin, removes makeup and leaves skin feeling soft and clean. It have a very mild scent and it foams up when you add water. Not like crazy foam but it is still a foam.  I like to use it in my night time skin care routine. What I like the most is that it won't leave me skin with greasy residue as some other oil based cleansers. The cleanser is made with natural coconut based cleansers that gently cleans skin without stripping it from skin's essential moisture.

Natural key ingredients include:
~ Healthy Skin Lipid Complex ~ helps to maintain healthy, glowing skin.
~ Jojoba Oil ~ natural seed oil that is lightweight, deeply hydrating oil that is packed with Vitamin E, B-complex, copper and zinc.
~ Red Seaweed Extract ~ is rich in natural sodium, a powerful ingredient that pulls moisture into the skin to create plump appearance and dewy looking complexion.
~ Aloe Leaf Extract ~ Aloe Vera contains over 200 active components including vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes and fatty acids. It helps repair collagen and elastin. And it also helps to sooth the skin.
~ Macadamia Oil ~ natural seed oil, that is not greasy but nourishing. It is calming, healing and helps to maintain skin essential barrier function.

Skinfix is available at Ulta and the cleanser retails at $22.

* Clove + Hallow Makeup Melt ~ new to my skin care. Before I was sent this product I have never heard of Clove+Hallow. This brand is vegan and cruelty free, based in Atlanta. I also got to see them at Indie Beauty Expo few months ago. I have to say i am impressed with the line. They have lipsticks, concealers, foundations and makeup remover. And today we will get more in depth with the remover that changed my routine for better. It is so easy to just pop it onto my face and it melts everything!  And you don't need a lot. it is a balm-to-oil makeup remover that melts even waterproof mascara (I don't wear waterproof mascaras but for the purpose of testing this products I did) while
nourishing the skin. I am so happy  coz it is really really good. Aside from being so good can we talk about super luxurious packaging? I mean come on! It so well done! Heavy and very modern. And all of it will cost you less then $30.. $28 to be precise. With the super high end quality of this product that is very affordable.

It is made wit Clean15 Ingredients:
~ Fractionated Coconut Oil
~ Polyglyceryl 10 Laurate
~ Sweet Almod Oil
~ Sundflower Oil
~ Sunflower Seed Wax
~ Sorbitan Sesquioleate

Below, lets call it a swatches of the removers. Just simply to show how the formula looks more less. Both like I said are very effective. I really can recommend both. Its up to you and your preferences if you like more liquid-y formula or more stiff a'la moisturizer formula.

My sensitive skin friends, these both products are for you. Both are gentle and both leave skin soft and clean. I do love both and I can't choose one like better.

Sunday Riley U.F.O face oil and Martian Toner ~ new in my skin care

*pr sample*

Hi beauties!

This post been long coming. it was supposed to be up last month, but because of my chaotic schedule I had to postpone it.

I love good skin care and Sunday Riley is one of the best I tried so far. Their two otherworldly products UFO and Martian became my favorites!
The Martian Toner I owned before in a sample size (100pts Sephora perk) and I fell in love with the first application. later, when i received a full size product form Sunday Riley I was so happy!
I was send both UFO Oil and Martian toner that targets oily/acne skin concerns.
As a not so proud owner of a oily skin, both products were lifesavers.

Martian Mattifying  Melting Water Gel Toner , gosh thats a one long name! I call it Martian Toner
:) simple and easy hehehe. As I mention before I got a sample size at Sephora a while back. Sunday Riley was the skin care brand that was praised by bloggers all over the world. I stumbled upon so many blog posts and read so many great reviews on their products. When I saw it Martian toner at 100pts sephora perk I decided to get it. First off I wanted to see if the hype was real, coz let e honest the price point is rather high! And I am that kind of person who don't like to purchase a cosmetics or any other product and than return it. Anyways , back to the toner. I was actually sold on word mattifying. For us oily skin people mattifying is important :) We don't want to look like a grease ball right? This toner is not like any other toner I used before. It have a unique gel to water formula.
What I mean by that is that it comes out in a gel formula and once you massage in the skin it changes to water and it sinks fast. It have a cooling effect and mattifies instantly. It can be used morning and night. I personally prefer morning. It creates a great base for foundation and it keeps my skin matte throughout the day.  Available here $55 (4.4oz)

Key ingredients :
* Bendonite Clay ~ mattify and reduce size of pores
* Marshmallow extract ~ reduce redness and soothe irritation
* Cucumber and Witch Hazel ~ tone and tighten
* Manuka Leaf Oil ~ natural antibacterial properties that help fights breakouts

U.F.O that stands for Ultra Clarifying Face Oil, ok so I became on facial oil junkie, thanks to Jamey! She is my inspiration. I can read her blog on skin care and look through her IG page all day. She is the one who got me more into skin care.
I was a bit skeptical to oils at first. Come on I have an oily skin and why on earth would I put more oil on? Well some oils work wonders and they help to balance the skin :) Just like this one . UFO oil I simply adore you. This oil is meant to fight acne, breakouts and blackheads. It has 1.5% salicylic acid, tea tree oil and black cumin seed oil to help fights acne with out over drying It also have licorice root and hexyresrcinol, both natural ingredients to brighten a dull skin.
Oil have a thick consistency and have a very pleasant herbal scent. And you guys its green! Now i get the idea with name UFO :) its does look like it came to me form other planet .
I prefer using it night time. After cleaning and moisturizing my face I drop few droplets on my palms and massage into the skin. It soaks imminently and leaves my ski hydrated and smooth. After using it for few weeks straight I notice that my face is less greasy in the morning and my pores are smaller :)  Available here $80 (1.18floz/35ml)

thanks to both products I got my acne under control.
