CARGO Essentials Palette ~ Review + Swatches

I have new gorgeous palette to share with you. It is "Essentials" Palette by CARGO Cosmetics. I Have never tried anything form CARGO, wonder why I always walked past by their counter at Khol's. I actually stopped there one time, but I couldn't decide what I wanted so I just simply left.  Bad move Monica.

CARGO need more HYPE people! Their makeup line is seriously good! Definitely I will be getting more form their line. I saw three more palettes that I really really want ~ Venice, Shanghai, Northern Lights. But well knowing my luck they are not available any more ;( I swear I want to cry!~
Anyways let me show you the palette that is available for purchase on Cargo website other retailers carrying CARGO line.
Essentials Palette was launched in 2015 in Spring / Summer Collection. It is inspired by my beautiful city ~ New York City. It comes in very sturdy cardboard packaging with magnetic closure. On the lid you can see gorgeous skyline of  city that never sleeps~ NYC. It actually looks like a Spring on the cover tho. The trees and they way it is presented.
Inside, once you open you are welcomed by 12 beautiful neutral shadows, double ended brush and eye pencil.

You can see variety of finishes: mattes and shimmers. They are your prefect every day shades. You can also create a nighttime look as well ;).

first row we have:
* Uptown ~ Ivory with shimmers . Can work great as your inner and brown bone highlight.
* District ~  rose (shimmer).
* City Hall ~  Nude beige (matte) very sheer.
* Urban ~ very very light grey with beige undertones (matte)
* Rush Hour ~ brown, almost orangy nude. (matte)
* Plaza ~ very similar to Urban. Plaza is darker (matte)

Second row;
* Downtown ~ black (matte)
* Industry ~ grey (shimmer)
* Metro ~ light copper brown (shimmer)
* Brownstone ~ chocolate brown (satin)
* Hub ~ taupe-brown (shimmer)
* Facade ~ black with blue undertones (matte)

The quality of shadows is good. I find myself more reaching for satin, shimmery shades then mattes. My favorites will be : District, Rush Hour, Metro, Brownstone and Hub.
Over primer they wear long time, don't crease. I don't get much fallout either.
They do blend nicely and over all this palette is great!
I think if you are a  New Yorker or love NYC get this palette ;) I love NYC, I been living her for past 8 years and I enjoy every second of it ;)

palette  available at Cargo Website and Ulta.
Price: $34

Makeup Revolution "Mermaids Forever" palette

I am not going to lie. I love Makeup Revolution palettes and I think they are one of the best on the market, if not the best!
Thank God we have some of them available here in USA.
Palettes are my weakness! I can have 1000 and I still will need it more. I just love them. Also being makeup/beauty blogger I am allowed to have many of them, right?
Today let me show you this beautiful summer gem I recently got.

"Mermaids Forever" By Makeup Revolution.
I always wanted to be mermaid and I am fascinated with with merpeople world.
Ever since I saw Little Mermaid and Splash! I mean did you see Daryl Hannah beautiful hair and orangey-gold tail! Magic! Sometimes when I sit at the beach and look at the ocean I imagine merpeople coming and inviting me to see their hidden kingdom, deep deep down in the Ocean. My imagination is no joke! But anyways back to the palette, coz this post is about a Mermaid palette and not Merpeople kidnapping me LOL.

Palette is filled with 32 vibrant eye shadows. They are closed in a black, glossy packaging (like other MUR palettes), so watch on finger prints. Inside you can find jewel tones inspired eye shadow that screams Mermaids and Summer. Also under the lid you can find a full size mirror which I really appreciate. Can we talk for a second about the actual box! How gorgeous is that! Beautiful metallic aqua-teal is just breathtaking. Really Wish the palette was like that itself.
Now back to eyeshadows. We have a selection of blues, aquatic, purples, nudes and greens.
They have almost velvety texture. Buttery smooths and blends so nice with minimal fallout.
Also look at the pattern in a palette, did you see it?

First row from top to bottom we have four shades pf pearly creams, then orange, going for light to dark. Then we have pinks (light-top, dark-bottom), purples (light-top, dark-bottom), blues, greens, browns and silver + black (with same pattern light-top, dark-bottom).
This palette might not be for everyone , but I think that you should get it anyway! You have all possible shades all in one. You can create day time look and nighttime look.
Also while browsing pictures of this palettes on googles. I saw that the plastic cover that comes inside have a names printed on ... wonder why my did not? Anyways I went ahead and google the names and I add them to my palette pictures.Some colors as you will see on swatches are better than others.
Overall I really like this palette! The variety of different colors makes it special and one I can see myself reach a lot during summer.
You need this palette in your collection :) Get it at Ulta, Ulta.Com and Makeup Revolution USA and UK websites ~ $15

Be Bella Cosmetics B35C dupe for Morphe Jaclyn Hill palette?

Ever since I posted a picture of Be Bella Cosmetics eye shadow palette B35C, I got asked if it is a dupe for Morphe Jaclyn Hill palette.
When you look at Be Bella palette it do look like famous JH palette.
I decided to do swatches of both, since I do own JH palette ;) Lucky was able to buy it second time around.

When you look at both palettes, they do look same. Be Bella B35C palette got an extra row of shadows. JH palette includes 28 shadows, Be Bella 35 shadows.
Both palettes are combination of neutrals and pop of colors kind of shades.
On both all the shadows are super pigmented! Especially shimmers and satin shades, so creamy and with one swatch you get full on pigment.

Check my sloppy swatches ;) LOL ... sorry guys I did try but my camera wouldn't focus! i get so mad at it some times. Really I need to invest in a new one soon.
But anyways, when you look closely some colors are a bit darker or lighter. But most of the satin ones are dead on dupes. They do feel the same and they do swatch the same.

So if you didn't get JH palette, check BeBella Cosmetics B35C palette. It is a great dupe! and it only $19.99 It is less more expensive then JH palette and plus you get extra row of Shadows!! JH palette was $27.99...
Here is the link to B35C palette.

So what do you guys think? I think it is a really great DUPE! I say if you don't own JH and you always want it, check Be Bella Cosmetics palette . Like I said the texture of the shadows is really creamy and they are pigmented :)

Hello my palette junkies!
 I can't believe we are a month away form Holidays! And what is a Holiday time with out a perfect palette? A palette that have everything in for you to use. Well you are lucky , because I want to introduce you to a new brand I recently discovered.
Cate McNabb Cosmetics is a certified cruelty free, paraben free luxury cosmetic line.

Their newest release ~ Holiday palettes are a must have! They have 3 options :
1 North Shore Natural
2 Lady In the Loop
3 Magnificent Mistress
All are so beautiful/ I am lucky to have  'Lady In the Loop' and I am obsessed with it! The quality is amazing and the products as well!

'Lady in the Loop' Comes in a black , very sturdy, plastic packaging. On the outside there is a Cate McNabb logo. Inside you have a full size mirror and your beautiful products. My palette comes with a blush, highlight, two eye shadows, two lipsticks.  Lady In The loop focuses on a bold lip and softer eye look.

Cotton Candy Blush~ Such a beautiful pink blush! Looks like there is a bit of shimmer in, but when I swatched on the back of my hand I didn't see any. Gives more of a satin finish. Blends very well and it look just gorgeous! Mineral based, long wearing blush. Perfect blush shade for Fall/Winter.

24k Illuminizer ~ bronzy-gold highlight. Really beautiful. Packed with glitter. Although it is too dark for my skin I used it as a highlight while I did my eye makeup. I apply it in my inner corner and on lower lash line. Goes perfectly with both shadows form the palette.

SoCal and Bark  Eye shadow ~ mineral based and pigmented. Holy Molly , they are really pigmented. "SoCal" eye shadow is gorgeous gold shade. Metallic, swatches like butter and applies like a dream. Love it! Pigmentation on this guy is amazing! Now the "Bark" eye shadow is a matte. Dark brown and when swatched looks less more pigmented, compared to "SoCal". Its the prefect crease shade. Not to dark and very blendable.

Guava and Red Line Lipsticks ~ Now I will tel you something. The only reason I got this palette is the RED LIPSTICK! Yes this color stood out the most and so gorgeous on. Red Line Lipsticks is a exclusive to this palette. Its a satin finish and for me looks like a strawberry red :) God its so pretty!
The other lipstick "Guava" is a darker matte shade. Rich , warm mauve. Didn't wear this one yet but I definitely will.

Overall this palette is really good. You can try 4 Cate McNabb products at once, with out spending tons of money. Also, right now you can find great deals on their website. Selected items are 50%off! I suggest to check them out :)
