Elf's Bite Size Eye Shadow Palettes - Take it or Leave it?

*Purchased by me*

Can $3 eye shadow palette be any good?
Read this post and find out :)

I believe it was at the beginning of this year that ELF launched new tiny size eye shadow palettes.
Small palettes that come in 8 variation and contain 4 shades in each palette. Size wise perfect for travel and on the go beauty :) Its been a years since i tired ELF's eye shadows, and the ones I did were so bad! I know a lot of people loves the bigger palettes, the ones that cost $14. Even the $10 ones. I seriously suck coz ELF is one of the brands that I tent to skip over.. At my CVS they always have sales and good coupons but me , ugh I don't know ... I want a lot form the brand but always I go for different brand and different products. I just wait for some good promotion on ELF's website and will place order soon.

The bite size palettes when launched they sold out in minutes... I was hard for me to get a hold of it. But then one day I was browsing Ulta and I found them. Not all were in stock at that time but what ever was I added to my cart and waited for the rest. I think it took me 2-3 days and check them out. I was so excited! I knew I will blog about them regardless if they are good or bad. When I got the packages I was shocked to see that not all survived the trip to my home. Ulta didn't care much and just throw them in the box ... 5 out of 8 were broken and spilled all over the box. I called them right away and they were kind enough to re-ship the broken ones. Hence why this post is up soooo late.

Let me show you close ups of the palettes and later I will tell you my opinion if you didn't not guess already ...

* Cream and Sugar - nude toned palette that contains soft peach beige, gold champagne shimmer, bronze copper shimmer and deep brown. The first shade peachy beige is super light and it don't show well on my skin. I use it to buff out any harsh lines.

Shimmers are absolutely beautiful and beautifully pigmented.  I like this little quad for an easy every day and quick on the go look.

* Pumpkin Pie - warm toned nude palette that includes warm terra-cotta nude, orange copper shimmer, warm beige nude and bronze shimmer. This palette is so pretty and all colors come together nicely.

Unfortunately there is no dark shade that you could put in outer corner so I like to go to Cream and Sugar palette and use that dark brown or I go the palette below:)

* Truffles - a neutral tone palette. Contains beautiful shimmery silver, cool beige, dark brown and deep black.

Im not fan of black but love all other three shades. throw a silver all over the lid, lighter brown in the crease and darker brown in the outer corner and the look is done :)

* Carnival Candy - neutral with a pop of blue. includes soft cream, tan brown, deep red and jewel toned shimmery blue.

I'm not gonna lie I got this palette for the blue. And wow its beautiful.

* Rose Water - soft toned palette that includes soft rose shimmer, beige nude, deep rose shimmer and chocolate brown.

This palette is soft and really pretty! What I like to do it to pair this and Berry Bad palette together. I think they both compliments each other really well.

* Berry Bad - warm berry tones palette that includes pinky nude, rose copper shimmer, rich warm berry shimmer and deep red.

this palette works good with the softer one, as the colors kinda blend one into another.

* Hot Jalapeno- green and gold palette that includes yellow gold shimmer, green gold shimmer, olive green and black.

I love green and gold shades. I was never brave enough to wear green all over the lid but in the outer corner and lash line I like very much :)

* Acai You - blue, purple palette. Includes soft periwinkle, purple blue shimmer, deep purple blue and dark blue purple.

Its a pretty palette but the colors kinda get all muddy and kinda blend one into another. I like it but it is the not my favorite .

Overall I do feel these are worth it. I really like majority of it with exception of one or two.
They said these they are good for travel but I would be very careful with it. The shadows are really soft and they can be easily  broken. Some get a lot of kick up so be easy when you go with the brush. But for $3 I feel that they are worth the try.

Introducing new eye shadow palette by Lunatick Cosmetic Labs ~ VAMPIRA (picture heavy)

*pr sample*

I got one of the best birthday gifts ever. When I got home yesterday a pretty coffin package was waiting for me. I didn't have to check to see who is it from :)  I know only one brand that sends out cool packages like that.

Lunatick Cosmetic Labs launched yesterday (03/20) on my birthday, a new eyeshadow palette inspired by legendary Maila Nurmi's Vampira.

I freaked when I saw the palette. It is stunning! Coffin shaped, includes mirror and 5 eye shadows. On the palette cover you see beautiful Vampira, and inside the coolest drawing created by @hagcult .

Vampira shades :
* Velvet Moon ~ its a duo chrome it have a lilac shift to it. really pretty. buttery and pigmented
* Untarnished ~ very pretty metallic silver. also buttery and pigamned
* Astro Vamp ~ matallic-y  deep plumy purple. again buttery and pigmented. It have a purpely- pink sparkles in.
* Necromancer ~ it like a antic gold. very nicely pigmented and buttery to touch
* Nefarious ~ it is hard to describe this. I would say it is a deep green with a black base. when you look in the pan you can see many pretty sparkles (green, teal, light green). But when swatched I don't see it any more, plus it is kinda dry and well least fave. I see how it will look on the eyes but I am not crazy about it tho.

Over all palette is amazing. Aside of that one shade I adore it. Packaging have a nice weight to it and it is very sturdy. this palette is perfect for all Vampira , Lunatick Cosmetic Labs and all Supernatural  fans.

You can find VAMPIRA palette here
Price $35

*Lunatick Cosmetic Labs is cruelty free.

I do adore the black and white pictures :)

Today I will talk or write, which ever LOL. Anyways I have two Silk FX Eyeshadow palettes form Palladio Beauty. Such a beautiful palettes for everyday use. They are pigmented and very silky to touch it . Now most of the colors in a palette are shimmers. So if you not a fan well these two might not be for you. I, to be honest love shimmers and glitter shades so yay! Each palette have a protective plastic and on that, there is printed with is your: Highlighter, All Over Base, Crease, Lid and Liner. The only thing, the highlighters might be too dark for brow bone highlight, I would use instead of that the all over base shade. The pans are pretty big. Each palette comes with sponge dual ended applicator.
Now, the two palettes I own and swatches

Femme Fatale ~ beautiful purple hues. Lid shade is stunning. The lavender highlighter can be use as an inner corner highlight. The crease shade is almost matte, I can see a tiny shimmer but that might be an overspray. Liner and base color have glitter in it Actually all of the have glitter/shimmer, but lid and crease have less... if that makes sense .

Avant Guarde ~ this palette is gorgeous. I am obsessed with lid and crease shades! Highlight shade is also really pretty (taupe silvery color). All over base have no shimmer or glitter. It feels like satin matte. Crease is green-bluish-teal kinda shade with black base, looks lighter in a pan tho.  Lid is beautiful glittery Taupe with brown undertones. Then we have a liner, which is dark blue, almost black.

Overall I really like the palettes. The only thing is there is good matte shade, so I suggest you can use any atte form different palettes. The shades are nice and pigmented and they blend very good. With a primer they lasted around 8h with no creasing.  Again most of the shades is glittery so you will get a small fallout. I will be picking up at least 3 more palettes.

They are available on Palladio Website, Sally's Beauty Supply

Palladio Beauty ~ Metal Crushed Eyeshadows ~ Swatches + Review

I be honest I been eyeing them forever! First I saw one in TaraBabyz video on Youtube and I screamed I need it!!!! LOL!
They are plain gorgeous! I have 5 colors to share with you today. If you like glitter, stand out eyeshadows well these are for you. They are cream based formula with super intense foil, metallic finish.
Some are more pigmented then others. And some contain glitter.
They all come in a small, round acrylic packaging. With a clear lid so you can see the shade. The "Palladio Crushed Metallic Shadow" is printed all over the lid with white ink.

Now the colors I have :

* Light Year ~ beautiful, metallic peach. Perfect as all over lid shade.
* Eclipse ~ gorgeous golden bronze shade.Very pigmented and opaque. Love this one!
* Nubella ~ beautiful purple. Don't contain any glitter. Very pigmented. Love purples.
* Zenon ~ Lime green shade with glitter in it. The texture is more chunkier and it don't show opaque. Less pigmented then others. Contain gold glitter.
* Blue Moon ~ gorgeous blue. Contain silver glitter. Again the texture is chunkier but the color is really opaque.

Overall I like them. I will have to pick up the rest to complete my collection. I was not fan of 'Zenon' the color look gorgeous in the pan  don't get me wrong, but it was lacking the pigmentation.
'Eclipse' and 'Blue Moon' are my favorites. The pigmentation on 'Eclipse' is amazing and ' Blue Moon' Is just soooo gorgeous, even with that glitter.
The best way in my opinion to apply them is using your fingers or sponge brush.

you can get them at Palladio Website ( $6.00 ) Sally's Beauty Supply and Ulta.
$6.99 each.  Available in 12 shades.
