What I found at Marshalls - haul part 2

 

  yet again Marshalls and TJ Maxx brings out the good things. So many awesome products!  Do You all remembered when I hauled ABH products? Click here to see the post. 

This past few weeks I was lucky once again. I found few great makeup products at super affordable prices!

Lets start shall we ?

First products I hauled few weeks ago.  I went out with my co-worker and well she wanted to buy a winter jacket and I was hoping to find something good. As we were strolling and not getting anything for her we ended up in beauty section where I went a bit crazy. 

First I grabbed Real Techniques Bold Metal brushes  that were prices $5.99 for Tapered Brush (300) and $3.99 for Flat Contour Brush (301). I think the contour brush was wrong priced LOL but can't complain there right?

The second I saw the Cargo Cosmetics  Star Wars the Dark Side palette for only $4.99! what a deal! I know for fact that the palette was sold on Cargo Cosmetics website for around $30. There is also a Light Side version that I need to hunt! 

The last palette set I picked up that day was Mixed Metals Amber palette by Profusion. This deal wasn't as great as the other but I been wanting that palette for a quite sometime. I paid $7.99 and on Profusion website you can get it for $10. SO like I said not a big deal, but any who the palette is gorgeous! and Profusion lately makes super great quality products.  They also sell their products at Target so I suggest to try there :) Meanwhile here is the link to Profusion web if you are interested in Amber palette.

Second time I went was last Saturday (03.24). I went to look for a new bag. I bought few months ago cute Nine West one but its just too small and I need something bigger. Unfortunately there is nothing that I like.  After walking around I grabbed few house stuff ( I dunno if you guys would like to see it or not ) and when I went to makeup aisle I only was able to grab NYX Cosmetics Liquid Suede Lip 
Set , Real Techniques 2 mini sponges and Unicorn Glow Palette. 

the NYX lips set was only $4.99 for 3 full sized lipsticks. Why not! plus the dark colors are something I am into it lately. the colors that came in the box were : Subversive Socialite, Covet and Temptress.  The mini sponges from RT were only $2.99, I grabbed two one for me one for a friend.

The unicorn glow palette is something that I saw during Christmas. I never bought it coz it was all shattered. This time I found new, unopened, untouched :) and I brought it home with me. for $3.99 why not :)  Just look how pretty it is inside :)

And my last, today's haul. I been seeing on IG that girls picking up Kat Von D's studded kiss lipsticks! I saw one last week, no scratch that I saw an empty box last week. Was asking around and all I got was come again tomorrow, we get deliveries every day.  I can't tho. My work starts at 9:30am so same time they open up. But today, my daughter was not feeling well and I called in that I won't come either. Someone have to stay home and watch her. But hubby was at home in the morning so I quickly run for breakfast and on my way I stopped by Marshalls. 

Jackpot! I found 4 KVD lippies!

I picked up : L.U.V., Cathedral, Motorhead and Vampira. They were priced at $7.99 each. Perfect condition and prefect colors. I wanted to grab another Cathedral but unfortunately it was all swatched up. I don't get it why does people do that? Shit not wonder companies loose money and they price makeup super high! Coz some morons have nothing better to do. Yeah go to Marshall or any drugstore and start swatching and breaking  makeup. I get all heat up when I talk about this..

On top of it there were few Makeup Revolution palettes as well. for $4.99 I grabbed two : Girls on Film and Stipped and Bare. MUR makes amazing quality palettes and seeing few at Marshalls makes me happy! I can save few $$$!  Right now I am hunting for more KTV lipsticks shades and MUR Heart Highlighters :) Wish me luck!

Also my last non makeup/beauty related haul. I picked a while ago gorgeous lingerie set by Marilyn Monroe. I always, always when I am at Marshalls I make sure I picked something up. They are by far my favorite lingerie brand. So pretty and comfortable. Most of my bras and panties are by MM or Jessica Simpson. I do own few VS but I prefer MM better. Plus they are affordable. Just look at the cute set below. Pretty flowery bra cost me only $6.99 and the panties set $8.99. 

Kat Von D Metal Matte Palette ~ swatches

Let me just say Holy Molly you need to get this palette. 

New Kat Von D Metal Matte palette launch for holiday hmm two months ago I believe. 

When I saw it at sephora I swatches few shadows and I was sold. 

I missed out on last year palette so I told myself to get this year one.But then again I heard many mixed reviews so I decided to hold on on ordering and wait till hit sephora store so I can see her in person and decide. It only took 3 shade to swatch to make my decision.

Now lets talk about the packaging first. It is huge! it is like double the size of naked palettes. 

The logo was hand down by Kat as an ambigram. It reads Metal one way and when you flip it it reads Matte. Love this idea. 

The eye shadows are freaking unbelievable. The metallic ones have a famous Metal Crush formula and OMG they are fabulous. I am so happy that they were included in this palette. The matte shades are also wow  fantastic. They all swatch wonderfully. Although I would use primer with all of them ;) I did used it few times already. Just did a quick basic look ;)the metal crush formula is hands down the best one I tried. 

All shades are really pigmented and overall I love this palette :) Well send $60 for sure.  The only problem I have is the storage for this baby LOL. Right now it sitting on my vanity.

Overall the shades are wonderful like I said it before. Some mattes need work and good primer.
This palette is a limited edition so get your hands on it while you can.

Kat Von D ~ Lock It Revolution ~ Concealer and Setting Powder ~ Review

Is it me or Influenster is stepping up their game and their boxes are better and better?

When I saw that they had a Kat Von D Voxbox

I was crying. I really wanted to be a part of it , but I got Marc Jacobs before so I never knew I would not get in. But miracle happen and yes! I got in :) 

I am telling you when you know that you getting something in the mail, the waiting time is soooo long! you know what I mean right? But finally I think week after I got email my box arrived :) Tears of joy and happiness you guys! This box is the best one yet! 

Kat Von D Lock It Revolution Box came with  2 new Lock It Concealer Creme, Translucent Setting Powder and two brushes.

As a big fan of Kat's work and makeup line of course I am beyond happy to add her new products to my collection.

Lets talk about concealer first. 

Being described as a creamy , full coverage product this multi tasking concealer does it all. It said that it does amazing job at covering dark circles and brighten them without appearing too dry and also cover your blemishes without the extra coat that would make your face look cakey.

I got my two in shades : L5 Neutral and L3 warm. Both are my match and both do an amazing job.
They are indeed creamy and do cover blemishes and dark circles. Comes in round tube with doe foot applicator that is shaped like a tear drop. It makes applying concealer easier :) Plus it is really flexible. I use a beauty blender to blend it and works really good. I don't apply too much just few dots under my eyes, bridge of my nose and forehead. I didn't notice any creasing throughout the day. Another great thing is that it comes with over 20 shades, so you can find one matching you.

I set the concealer with a Lock It Translucent Setting Powder, which is by far my favorite product in the collection. So lightweight, non drying and super silky. Perfectly locks makeup and have a blurring properties! Is that a magic or what? Comes in translucent shade that can be use for all skin tones, don't leave any white residue or cast on the face. Blends really nice and like I said lock makeup in place. I am so happy that it stays matte well almost all day. I did get a bit shiny after 7h of being matte :) but that 7h is the longest I went without all that shine coming through. Powder comes in a simple clear jar with Kat's logo embossed on the lid. The sifter holder are in star design , which is so awesome.

I used Lock It Setting Powder Brush with the powder. Made of synthetic fibers the brush is dome shaped with tapered end. The bristles are super soft and I didn't notice any shedding. This brush is perfection when it comes to setting my under eyes. It fits perfect and works amazing.

Then we have a Lock It Edge Concealer Brush. I be honest I didn't use it yet.I was using my beauty blender to blend out the concealer. I have to put this one in rotation as well. This brush like the other one is have a really soft bristles. I heard a lot of gals love this brush, so I dunno what I am waiting for.

Kat Von D x Too Faced Collab

Finally we got our sneak peeks of Kat Von D x Too Faced Collaboration.

As a makeup junkie/makeup hoarder I am really excited! 

We been waiting for months to see what KAt and Jerrod came up with.

 I am definitely saving my $$$ for this! The palette reminds me of the heart pendants, that broke into two halves and you kept one and one you gave to your bff. Do you guys remember those? 

I think Kat and Jerrod did amazing job. Now lets patiently wait for swatches :)

November Favorites 2015

Time for my Beauty Favorites from last month.

Some are new and some my old goodies, that I have in my collection but I didn't reach for often

Also October and November were the busiest months I got a lots of new beauty products to test, for all I will be writing reviews soon. I am really behind on reviews.

I really can’t believe we are already December and soon I will have to think of my yearly faves! But for that we will have to wait. Let’s jump to my November one's first.

NOTE : I have a major problem with my text front. Some post I wrote at my work and send it via email Now I try to make them all same but for some reason I cant. Sorry I know it looks horrible! 

Urban Decay Naked 2 ~ I don't really have to talk much about it. Most of you already have it or lusting for it :) I found few shades in this palette that when I swatched I was like: Wow where you were my whole life. Ever since I got this palette, I have never played much with it until now. This is one of the a MUST HAVE palettes for beauty junkie

Stila In The Light Palette ~ I been lusting over this palette forever. After they discontinue it I was in tears that I didn't get it when i got a chance. Finally last month I fund it at Nordstrom Rack and I didn't think twice. I ran to register :) Beautiful selection on Natural Shades (shimmers and mattes) .

Jeffree Star Cosmetics “Doll Parts" ~ this liquid lipstick is just pain gorgeous. I have no words. Just hoping Jeffree will make it permanent! I am wearing it twice a week. hahah ! For real this is my to go lippie. Its stays put the whole day :) Definitely my favorite.

Kat Von D LOLITA ~ it’s like every time I wear Lolita I get lots of compliments. I really love this shade. It is a matte formula that is great on the lips. I didn't notice much of dryness. There are other lipsticks that are way dryer. It last super long time. I think I will do a separate post on this lipstick in a near future.

Noyah Cosmetics Lip Gloss in Red cardinal ~  at first their packaging is the most beautiful one yet. I already wrote a review on all of my Noyah lip products. I will be posting it soon. Anyways I love this red gloss so much. I was surprised by how long lasting was it. 

L'oreal Lumi Highlighter ~ my newest purchase. I been wanting all the Lumi highlights since the day they came out. Both powdered and liquid. So far I bought only one in ICE and I really been liking it. I know it does have a mixed reviews but it works greet for me. It gives me the perfect glow. Something I been looking for.

Too faced Better then Sex Mascara ~ at first I was not happy with the results of it. But later I grew to like it. The brush is amazing and it gives me beautiful length and volume. Now I have to get a full size coz im running low on my mini one 

Skin Again Youth Serum ~ this is great versatile product. Been loving especially morning. After washing my face. I apply it under my moisturizer. It acts like a primer. Smooths out skin and makes makeup look flawless. No greasy feeling what so ever. I already wrote review on it and it’s waiting to be publish.

It Cosmetics CC + and Bye Bye under Eyes Concealer ~ both I won in a It Cosmetics giveaway. Been really loving both so much in a past month. CC + foundation have a great coverage. Blends easy and makes my face looks good. Love the fresh scent of it. I know some people might not like it, but if you know me, you know I like anything that smells good.. Including my makeup. I have mine in Medium shade and it is a bit to dark. I tone it down with a lighter powder. Also I can mix with a lighter foundation and make it works. No biggie. The concealer is also really good. Now I know the hype on It Cosmetics is real and I slowly becoming a huge fan of it. Concealer reminds me of Amazing Cosmetics Amazing Concealer. It have a full on coverage and it didn't crease at all. Only tiny drop on your fingers and you good to go.

Starbucks Chestnut Praline Latte ~ when Starbucks brings back red cups and praline latte you know its Christmas :) I don't drink often at Starbucks but OMG this latte is a big MUST for Holiday Season :) Have you ever try it ?
