Bluemercury ~ store opening event in TriBeCa NYC.

Store with a Freedom Tower covered by clouds

Hi Loves!

I am so excited to share this event with you. And let me say this is my very first event that I was invited to. Loved every second of it.
Bluemercury opened up their 10th store in NYC. This time all the way in TriBeCa.
Bluemercury is a chain of a luxury beauty products and spas founded in Georgetown, Washington, DC.  Founded by Marla and Barry Beck. Bluemercury carries makeup, skincare and fragrances from well known brands like Nars, Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier,  Chanel, La Mer, Clinique and their brand M-61 Laboratories and Lune + Aster.  Currently there is over 85 stores across the USA.

Even took place on June 2nd. I went there with my husband's cousin Snow. I always like to have a company whenever I go out :) Snow was kind enough and agreed to go with me.
It was amazing. We got to try some of the products that we didn't even heard of! It was a great playground for beauty bloggers :) And in that playground they spoiled you with wine and cookies :) Yum!  I might have a one glass too much of that wine LOL.But thats ok, right? :)
And also I didn't want to leave empty handed so I bought myself something. Bouncing between Chanel and Bobbi Brown counters I finally decided to grab my very first Chanel Lipstick :)
Actually I really wanted a bronzing and highlight palette form Lune + Aster it is called Moonrise Glow and Contour and it's beyond gorgeous. I was swatching it at the event and OMG is a must.
with all that said here is a highlight of the event. I did post some on my snapchat :) Make sure you follow me (villemo20) so you won't miss anything :)

Store is amazing! Not far from Freedom Tower so if you are visiting or around make sure you check them out! Large selection of products and well organized. People working inside are super friendly and they do know what they do!
Store location: 275 Greenwich Street, NY NY 10007. Open 7 days a week.

ATAL Glacial Clay Gel Mask ~ Review

*pr sample*

Hi Love Bugs!

I love face masks. I love trying them and see what kinda wonders they do to my skin.
Recently I got this awesome Glacial Gel Clay Mask by the brand ATAL.
Today is a third time I used it and I feel like I can give you my thoughts on it.

This mask is great at cleaning common facial issues such as pimples and blackheads. The primary ingredient is superfine colloidal clay collected from the run-off of mountains of British Columbia, Canada. Other ingredients include: aloe vera, green tea, licorice, vitamin B3 and E, marine extract form Pacific Ocean. Natural Skin Care formulation suitable for all skin types.

Mask comes in a very pretty packaging. Good quality package is always important to me. Inside of the box you can find a "scoop" or "spoon, that helps with the mask application.  Once you open the cover you can see your greenish mask. Formula is a bit runny, kinda Jell-O consistency, so be careful or you might spill it. Hold container straight :)   Now another thing you might notice is smell. It is really strong, but I cant guess what is it?! Might be licorice? but I am not sure. After you apply mask the scent goes away or it's just not that noticeable.

Glacial Clay Gel Mask :
* Purify and Detoxify ~ super fine particles maximize pore penetration in easy to apply clay gel. Draws moisture to the skin's surface.
* Treats variety of skin conditions ~ used weekly, mask can produce visible results in improving acne, pimples, blackheads, dry and oily skin.
* this nourishing gel clay mask contains 30 beneficial  minerals combined with micro nutrients form marine phytoplankton.
* Contains natural and organic ingredients.

Benefits:
* Moisturize and hydrates skin
* Deep Cleansing
* Tighten pores and makes them less visible
* Brightens complexion and makes skin looks more even
* Leaves skin feeling fresh.

I really love this stuff! At first once you apply , you might notice a bit of burning. So don''t freak out like me and run to your bathroom to wash it off  LOL! Its supposed to be that way. As longest your skin don't get red you good to go. The burning part is the way the mask works. it opens up your pores to deep clean them.
Like I mention it before the mask is jelly kinda consistency. Too apply it I used the attached "spoon" I scoop some mask on, transfer to my fingers and applied it all over my face.
The burning sensation stopped after few minutes. You keep the mask on for about 15-20 min. Once it dries down you can wash it off with warm water.
Now skin feels amazing! OMG soft, refreshes and clean! I also notice that it reduced the reddens.
I will continue using it because I really like it!
Definitely try it out!
You can purchase it form ATAL Website and Amazon.

Abba " Curl Prep" and Color WOW "Pop and Lock" ~ my solution for curly hair

*pr sample*

Hi Loves!

Summer is almost here and with that my curly hair season is coming back. I like to leave my hair natural during warmer months and use less hot tools.
After washing I usually leave my hair to air dry. My natural hair is wavy/curly. And I be honest I hate it. I hate when they tangle and then I have problem brushing it. But I get lazy too so I just leave them as they are. I have never really used anything to make my hair more curly.

But then I found this product but ABBA Pure Performance Hair Care "Curl Prep" spray  in my Ricky's Blogger box. First off  have never heard of the company. But I love to try products new to me :) Curl Prep Spray uses nature's bounty to create shape and add life to dehydrated, naturally curly hair. lemongrass and orange peel oil works together to create high performing product. All you do is mist it evenly onto damp hair. It made my hair more curly than before! I actually love how they look. Plus they do look healthy and hydrated. The blend of lemongrass and orange creates a nice refreshing scent! Love IT! I use it everyday! After I splash my hair with a bit of water, then I separate them and once they look ready I spry the Curl Prep. My curls and me are ready to go :) Definitely recommend this to all of you with curly hair :)
You can purchase it at Abba website and Ricky's.
Price: $20 , $17.99

Another awesome product  found in Ricky's Box was Color WOW Pop and Lock. At first I was thinking that this will be my least used product. I was looking at the bottle for a qute sometime and trying to figure what to do with it ...  I put it aside and let it wait. Than  while I was cleaning I discovered it all over again and this time I said to myself I need to give it a try :) And OMG I love it! this give such a nice shine to my hair! wow! they don't look greasy or whatsoever. they look glossy and shiny! Especially my curls! works so good on them. Pop and Lock Shellac lock in color and makes it pop! the lightweight glosser helps seals the cuticle to tap color and moisture and lockout the dryness. A UV filter adds an extra layer of anti-fade protection for color that stays true. Pop & Lock creates a crystal clear matrix that dries to a glossy, mirror like shine that give hair wow factor. Can be use on wet or dry hair. So far I been using it on dry.
After I spry with ABBA Curl Prep Spray I go over with Color WOW Pop & Lock.
Love how my curls look healthy and beautiful! definitely my new summer must haves :)
Color WOW can be purchased at their Website and Ricky's.
Price : $18.99

Sinful Colors Kylie ~ Denim & Bling Collection ~ Kameleon and Kurves SWATCHES

HI loves!

I picked 2 more Kylie Polishes from collaboration with Sinful Colors. I will be definitely getting more!~ there is few more shades I like :)
This time I picked up Kameleon and Kurves.
Both are form Denim & Bling Collection.  They can be found at your local Target and Walgreen's. Price $3 each :)

Kamaleon is a duo chrome shade. Gorgeous! If you like duo chromes don't pass this up! As you can see there is a blend of green, gold and some blue. Looks stunning on nails! This will be my go to color for next week. I applied 2 coats on the swatch. they dry fast too :) I still like to use my essence drops on all my polishes. It seals color nicely and cut the drying part too.

Kurves is a textured polish. I don't really like textured but this ones are very comfortable. Its a gorgeous periwinkle blue, if you know me you know I am sucker for periwinkle colors. This one have a silvery glitter in it, just like the Krop Top did. I swatched Krop top here.
 I applied two coats :)

MAC Vibe Tribe ~ what I got form the collection.

Hi Loves,

I been really excited for this collection. Inspired by music festivals (Coachella and Burning Man). Each year Mac Summer collections are stunners! Last year we had Wash and Dry and a year before, my favorite Alluring Aquatic.  Alluring Aquatic is the collection I kinda passed on and I cry every time I think of it. My very first MAC products were form that collection. And since I was just starting my makeup adventure I didn't buy much.... why oh why! I trying to get few prices online but the prices are ridiculous! Starting from that day I made sure I get at least one product form LE collections. Lately I been getting more then and I am so happy about it :)
Anyways back to Vibe Tribe collection. What I like about all LE is the packaging. This year packaging is freaking amazing! Love the tribal design and the pop of colors! Its so summer!
So as much as I love the design I hate the quality of the packaging! MAC what happened? The plastic feels rather cheap, like really really cheap. That's the reason I didn't pick anything else. I really wanted both blushes, but I won't be paying $25 each for a cheap packaging. Sorry MAC packaging quality is really bad! and I am not the only one who thinks that way.
Aside form compacts the lipsticks are great. Packaging is you typical MAC tube and it feels good! So if you want something from this collection go for the lipsticks.

With that said I pick only 3 products.

The star of the show is definitely Gleamtones powder in Dunes at Dusk. Multicolored powder. Combination of 4 shades: pink, champagne gold, peach and rose mauve. This powder highlight is freaking gorgeous! Perfection and to be honest I don't even want to touch it. I swatched all the shades in store and then swirled them together and OMG I was hooked! The only reason I don't want to swatch is that some of my MAC products are collector items. I could get second one but well I don't have extra $$$ to spend and I wish I could though. This little compact is very versatile. You can use all shades together or alone. they can be also used as an eye shadows! Imagine that champagne gold in your inner corners! Perfect!
This highlight is a LE, so get it while you can. I know the packaging sucks but I you need this baby in your collection.

Also I pick two lipsticks:

HOT CHOCOLATE ~ lipsticks that screamed my name from the first time I saw it. It is Limited Edition shade, but re-promote, which mean it did appear in collection before this one. Its gorgeous dirty plum with satin finish. I would say it is a dark nude with berry undertones. It might not be your summer option but it will work great fall/winter time. I am a fan of nudes, and I find this color perfect!

ARROWHEAD ~ Light pinky nude. Matte finish. I pick this one up =, because I like the swatches online. This can look prefect in summer with a nice lip gloss on top or under a colorful lip liner.

So that is my MAC Haul :) I have few more lipsticks to show you I picked up recently. But that will be in the next post.

xoxo  Monica
