Milani Comestics ~ Must Have Metallics Palette ~ review + swatches

  OMG this little gem is finally mine! Guys I am so happy to finally own it.
I been dying to get my hands on this palette since it came out. But there were always something to do or to buy.
I saw a newly  re-done  Milani display at my local CVS with this beauty included.  And since CVS offered $4 Extrabucks back of any $10 Milani purchase, then why not buy it! So I did. I got pretty palette and ExtraBucks :)

Just s the name suggest this palette is mostly Metallic. It comes in a gold plastic case with clear lid. Just like the other palettes.
 I really am obsessed with all the colors.
The pigmentation is freaking amazing. They are  buttery soft and  well super intense. There is one satin and one matte shade. The black is obviously matte, and the first cream color is satin.
This palette is perfect for all metallic lovers.  That cranberry red was calling my name for a very long time hahah! The min reason why I decided to purchase this beauty.

Overall I am super pleased with this palette. Milani Cosmetics really is steeping their game! Lately they been launching amazing products that call out to every beauty junkie. I myself want to get few more products  The highlighters look amazing, some of the other palettes that come in the golden packaging are on my wish list.   Milani palettes are one of the best at the drugstore. And also they have released recently new bigger palettes, one all matte and the other metallic. They retail for about $20 each and hopefully I can get them soon.

Do you own any of the Milani palettes? Which one is your favorite?

New At The Drugstore ~ Milani Cosmetics Spotlight Face and Eye Strobe Palettes ~ Swatches

Hello Loves, it is finally snowing here in NYC. I wanted snow for Christmas but oh well...
Anyways today i want to show you swatches of new Milani Cosmetics  Products I picked up yesterday.
I went to look for Jordana's Lipsticks for a Friend and I found a display of new Spotlight Strobe Palettes by Milani.
Milani is my favorite drugstore brand. Their products are amazing and always luxurious looking. The gold packaging is everything:) plus the quality of the products is so on point! I could rave about them forever :)  This year Milani is on fire! They launching so many great products that I can't wait to get my hands on, I just need $$$. LOL! But no seriously, all the new stuff is keep showing at my local drugstore and get this the prices are better than on Milani's website (just a thought)
These Spotlight powders retails at $13 at Milani web I got them for $12.

"Spotlight Face and Eye Strobe palette is ultimate multitasking glow powder with universal flattering shades to illuminate face and eye like never before. Light-reflecting powders build and blend effortlessly for an instant glow. Use as a blush, highlight or an eye accent and to spotlight all of your pretty features with beautiful luminosity."

Ah they are so pretty! I just don't want to touch it. The design reminds me of Hourglass eye shadow palettes. The sand dunes design is everything!
Milani Spotlight palette comes with in 3 color selection and each palette have a 3 shades in. Blush, Bronzer, Highlight.

* Sun Light 01 ~ the lightest in the trio comes with white gold highlighter, copper bronzer and coral blush.  Warm toned.

* Candle light 02 ~ medium, comes with pink-pearl highlighter, caramel bronzer and pink blush. Cool toned.

* Golden Light 03 ~ the darkest of all includes all shades of bronze (warm, deep and light).

All three are just stunning!
The packaging is kinda bulky. Its black and square with clear lid.
The products swatched with a finger looks  beautiful. When you use brush and apply to your face it gives you more natural look. It's not crazy pigmented, I know it looks like it might be but it is not.
I over all don't mind it, I like more of natural look and products that wont do me harm hahaha. With more pigmented products I always tend to 'hurt' myself hahah and it so hard to fix.  With these Milani I can work and not be afraid that once I am done I would look like a clown or glitter ball.
I say that if you like super crazy pigmented products these Milani are not for you. If you are like me and like more of natural look and don't mind the lack of pigmentation, they will work for you :)

My Brow Products including Freedom Makeup, IT Cosmetics, Pixi Beauty, Jordana, Catrice and Mirabella

I know I know Brows are so on trend right now and everyone have them on a fleek.  Brows are important, they frame face and they give face expression. I didn't care much for eyebrows years ago. I got into makeup lets say maybe 3-4 years ago and I start paying more attention to my browns 2 years ago. Why so late you ask. Well I didn't like myself with a bold, filled in brows LOL I kinda looked weird. But once I start filling them in everyday I notice that people were telling me that I look great and asked what new did I do? Well brows DUH!
I have few brow products and I want to show you it and tell you more about it too. Are your ready?
also let me put it up at front some  products were sent to me and some I purchased myself :)

Let me start with a product that I am simply obsessed and I am grateful I have such a good friend who got this for me. I am talking about Freedom Makeup EverBrow pomade. I have to day huge thank you to Dorota my UK bestie who got this baby for me. I have to admit I was neglecting this product for so long. To be honest I was scared that this would be to bold for me and I would look weird LOL. But I ended up loving it. A lot f people say this is a great dupe for ABH dip brow pomade. I don't own ABH but If they are dupes then well spend your money on Freedom's Everbrow pomade. My browns never looked better. I am not a pro but this pomade is so easy to use and it will make your brows stand up. So far this is my holy grail product. Gel like formula, color payoff is amazing and t will last the whole day without the budge. This little gem is a must have for sure. I have my in shade Blonde which is cooler ashy blonde and matches me and my brows perfectly. To apply I use Sonia Kashuk angled brush and then spoolie.

Second amazing product is IT Cosmetics Brow Power in Universal shade. Retractable pencil, packaged in a twist up tube. One one side we have our pencil shade and on other we have a spoolie. I think that a brow pencils are the best options for beginners. They are so easy to use. The Universal shade is prefect for every one. Apply lighter, softer strokes for light color payoff (blondes), press harder for darker color payoff (medium brown black hair). The oval tip makes it really easy to fill in your brows. One two three and you out the door.

Another pencil that I have in my brow collection is by Pixi Beauty. Their Endless Brow Gel Pen is really nice as well. I did mention this pencil before in a post so I just send you over there, click here.

Now lets move in to powders. I have three in total but I will talk about two because I can't find my Milani one anywhere.
Let's start with Jordana Brow Powder Duo. This one my very first brow product I purchased. I Have my in shade light and it was using the heck out of it for past two years. and guess what I didn't hit pan yet! Small little grey plastic box comes with two shades (one lighter one darker) and a dual ended mini brush. I lost my brush but to be honest it was not that good. Like I said I like my Sonia Kashuk Angled brush for my gel and powder products. This Jordana brow powder was mu go to for a really long time. I only used the darker shade tho. The lighter was too warm and well it didn't match me at all. What I like the most about it is that it is inexpensive and works really good giving a natural looking brows.

My second brow Kit is one from Catrice. I got it recently and I been living it. Probably more then Jordana one. This one comes with two powders as well. I do find them better then Jordana though. I like to mix both together to get the desire color. The kit also comes with a mini tweezers and dual ended mini brush. They are so adorable bit I never found myself using it. Also the packaging on Catrice kt is much more sturdy then on Jordana's. I like both but If I had to choose I would got with Catrice. Both are super affordable.

My last product is also fairly new to me It is by Mirabella Beauty and their Quick Brow. And it is indeed quick. I have my in shade Light/Medium. I kinda eh on the shade i dunno I don;t see myself with it LOL. Or maybe that's just me. Quick Brow is a powder product that comes in a tube. The brush is rounded and wide, with only one swipe voila! your brows are filled. You really don't need anything else/ That's what I love about it. Easy and fast! Just wish for bigger shade range. Overall I love to apply/mix with other brow products :)

How about you ladies? How many brow products do you own and which are your faves?
By the way I found this awesome article on how to fill your eyebrows. Detailed information and video tutorial on how to fill your brows, Check it out!

starting from top :
* first two are Jordana
* another 2 are Catrice
* Freedom Pomade
*Pixi Endless Penil
* It Cosmetics Pencil
* Mirabella Quick Brow

Milani Cosmetics Everyday Eyes 'Earthly Elements' Eyeshadow palette ~ Swatches + Review

OMG I am so excited to see my favorite drugstore brand Milani Cosmetics came out with a eyeshadow palettes! They just launched recently and there is total of 6 palettes available now.
If you know me , you know my love for Milani Cosmetics. They are by far the best drugstore brand! Their products are amazing, affordable and comes in the prettiest gold packaging ever. I could talk and talk about them, seriously!

I picked only Earthy Elements palette, coz this was the only one left...
It comes in beautiful rectangle gold packaging, with clear lid. Milani name is visible on the lid in gold ink.  Packaging is plastic but very good quality. Doesn't feel cheap. On the back you can see a tutorial on how to use the palettes and which shade is you base etc. Tells you step by step on how to use each color in the palette.  Normally I don't care much for those kind of tutorials. Each palette comes with dual-ended brush. Which is an actual brush and not a sponge one that most of the palettes uses.
I haven't use the brush, so I can really say if it is good or not.

The colors in this palette are gorgeous! Tell me you think so too! Especially that ORANGE! I actually wanted this palette, coz that color stand up and screamed my name form the pics when I first saw it. On the Milani Website this palette is described as "terracotta & earthy" Beautiful warm tones palette.
Eyeshadows are rich and pigmented! they feel soft and they blend really nice!
They are matte and shimmer shades. Shimmers swatches nice but they will create fallouts, especially the first (base) shade. It is just a glitter in my opinion. The other shimmers preform much better. and they are opaque in one swipe.   Mattes are nice, I had to swipe my finger few times so they swatch can be visible. Mattes are not my faves though. I really want to love them but they do take a lot of time to build it up.

Overall I really like this palette and I will be getting rest of the colors. Milani did really good :) I love to see drugstore brands coming out with a high quality palettes. I say go for it! The shadows are amazing and they wear long time over a primer.
Milani also launched few new products that I cant wait to get my hands on! Including new primers, foundation and liquid lipsticks!

I got my palette form CVS $10.99
You can find them at any drugstore that carry MILANI line and they are available on Milani Website for $9.99

What Are Did You Love Last Month?

Milani Cosmetics Constellation Gel Liners Fall 2015

I was lucky enough to find a display at my local Walgreens. Milani came out with similar ones last year too. But unfortunately I bought nothing... I only found empty displays.
 I really wanted it even though they didn't have the best reviews. But come on you just want them in your collection, they are just so pretty too look at it.
So when I saw the new ones I grabbed all three,
The glitter/over-spray is just so beautiful.
I think they might be Limited Edition like the ones form last year.

Here are this year shades:
* 04 Evening Star (silver, blue)
* 05 Celestial (mix of pinks, golds and browns)
* 06 Galaxy  (mix of greens)

Now a moment of truth. I mean if you have the last year ones you know what I am about to say.
Underneath of that gorgeous over spray we get regular liner. That means all that glitter don't run through the entire pot. Sucks...
Evening star is a black liner, Celestial is brown and Galaxy ~ really dark green almost black. I really wont be able to tell the difference between Galaxy and Evening star once the glitter is gone.
I did swatched them on my hand and they did not dry. I heard the same thing happened with the last year ones.
I don't think you really need it. I only got them because of that gorgeous over spray. I wont be using them at all. If you are like me and like to collect makeup, then get it. Other then that don't waste your money. I got them at Walgreen's $6.99 each.
