Pixi Beauty Rose Infused Skin Treats Favorites

*pr sample*

I guess Pixi Beauty don't sleep and keeps on working a new skin care for us skin care loving junkies:)
I mean did you see the sneak peek on their new Vitamin C skin care and other goodies line that launched recently? Look below :) I am already adding products to my wish list :)

Also recently, less then two weeks ago a new PR package came :) The rose infused skin care products nicely packed in a gorgeous travel makeup/skin care bag. I died! Really, Pixi is spoiling their bloggers :)  And this one likes to be spoiled :)

Let's start with what catches the eye first. The travel makeup/skin care bag. Isn't it gorgeous! The soft pink color looks so nice with light green and the roses printed all over the bag? Stunning! It is perfect for travels and of course filled with all the essentials I need :) I will definitely bring it with me when I come visit Poland in April :) Ah can't wait! And of course my Mom will get few of my favorite Pixi products :)

So now what products were in the bag and did I tried them before ? Pixi basically sent over the whole Rose Infused line. I did try some products before and some I am eager to try. As I am writing this post the "new new" products landed on bathroom counter and I will be testing them out.
Rose water, rose oils, rose anything is very popular in skin care these days, and it should. Rose water and the oils has many great skin benefits such as anti-inflammatory, it helps minimize redness, soothes the skin irritation and helps with blemishes. Plus keeps the skin moisture and  it is ideal for all skin types, especially acne/ sensitive skin.
The products that came with the bag are:

* Makeup Melting Cleaning Cloths ~ with Chamomile, Grape Seed Oil and Rose. The small pack includes 10 wipes. This is one of the products I have not yet to try. But according to Pixi, it should gently and efficiently remove all traces of makeup. Infused with soothing and hydrating botanical extracts, these wipes will make skin feel clean and balanced after each use.
* Rose Cream Cleanser ~ nourishing cream cleanser with mineral rich mud  cleans skin as it helps strengths and soften it. Enrich with Rose,Avocado, Chamomile and Aloe Vera. I did try this and I do like it. Most importantly my skin likes it. Feel clean and hydrated afterwords. Definitely need to play more with it. ($18 Pixi Website / Target)
* Rose Tonic ~ I do love the Glow Tonic, so when i saw they came out with Rose I wanted to get my hands on it fast. I was lucky to be sent a while ago mini sizes of both glow and rose tonic. I pulled out one right away and I been using it ever since. This rose and elder-flower toner calms redness, soothes irritation and hydrates the skin. Keeps my skin fresh and plump :) Love it. Pixi, I think makes one of the best toners! NOw I need to get my hands on the Retinol one :) ($15-$29; Pixi and Target)

* Rose Caviar Essence ~ I had this one before and still have in my skin care drawer. I remember when I first got it a while back this product excited me the most. Just by looking at it I wanted to put all over my face.  This Caviar Essence contains encapsulated flower oils suspended in the serum that melts into the skin upon application. The Essence should be applied after toning and it has a nice cooling effect on the skin coz of the gel like texture. Just love it ($24' Pixi and Target)
* Rose Flash Balm ~ 3 in 1, oil free quick absorbing formula instantly moisturizes and brightness the skin. Its perfect for tired, lackluster skin. Can be use as a primer and mask as well. I tried this before many times under the makeup and I really enjoyed it. Love how hydrated my skin felt. Definitely one of the best products by Pixi that is worth checking out. ($24; Pixi and Target)
* Rose Ceramide Cream ~ this got me exciting. I believe this is the newest Pixi product, because I have never seen it before. I have not yet to try it but according to Pixi: "this ultra rich moisture cream, infused with rose flower and rosemary oil drenched your skin in deep hydration. Antioxidant rich plant extracts and ceramides help improve skin elasity and lock in intense moisture while helping to protect against environmental aggressors. It quenches thirsty skin leaving  it healthier and more supple and smooth." I am really looking forward to try this :) ($24; Pixi and target)

* Rose Oil Blend ~ This is my favorite oil! Not only my, ask my sister in law how many did she used already :) I always see her repurchase it. And guess who introduce her to it :) You got that right, ME:) It extremely hydrates, restores and provides skin with natural glow. I don't use it every day, but when I do is mostly night time, I add 1-2 drops to my moisturizer and I can head to bed.
* Makeup Fixing Mist ~ I have like three of them lying around somewhere :) I like how good it sets the makeup. I did write a post on Multi Misting a while back (click here). I adore Pixi mists, and most of the time these are the ones I use the most. ($15; Pixi and Target)
* Rose Glow Mist ~ ah it is so nice to try new mists. I been eyeing this one for a while :) It contains 7 flower oils, essential fatty acids and antioxidant so it does have a dual phase effect and needs a good shake before use. The key ingredients are rose oil, argan oil and avocado oil. It smells amazing and makes my skin hydrating , soft and it gives a skin beautiful glow-y effect, with out greasy residue. ($15, Pixi and Target)

Did your try Pixi Skin Care before? What are your favorites?

Pixi Pretties ~ Spring Collection in collaboration with beauty and lifestyle bloggers

*pr sample*

I am So excited about this post :) Pixi Beauty just launched a Spring Collection that was created by beauty and lifestyle bloggers :) Annnnd Pixi just opened up a flagship store in Cali! OMG! first ever Pixi Store! God I wish we get one here in NYC too! Congrats on the store and this beautiful collab Petra!
So like I said the Spring Collection was created in collaboration with popular beauty and lifestyle  bloggers: Caroline Hirons, Judy Travis (itsjudytime), Maryam Maquillage (marymanyc) and Aspyn Ovard.
Each of the ladies sit down with Petra and with her guidance they created their dream products for us :)

A few weeks ago I got this huge PR package with all the new products. I actually screamed when I saw it. Guys it is HUGE! I was so excited to try everything! Guys I knew I will keep the box (duh who would throw it away?!?) so all day Saturday I was cleaning my makeup place. After more less 4h later I got everything organized and the box sits now on my Alex looking all pretty :) I pull out all the products and move them to my vanity drawer so I could use them :)

you can see below before and after on my makeup space :)

So now let me tell you more on each product and each collaboration :)

Let's start with Judy Travis. She is also known as ItsJudyTime on YouTube. I met Judy at NYC Pixi Event October 2016 and she is sooo sweet! I love watching Judy's YT and I was so excited for this collaboration. I have a BH Cosmetics palette that Judy created with BH years ago! Do you guys remember it? So seeing that now she created a new ItEyeTime palette and ItsLipTime palette with Pixi I was thrilled! Each palette comes with 12 shades.
Eye shadow palette have a mixture of mattes and shimmer shades. Its a warm tones hue-ed palette prefect for everyday. Colors feel silky smooth and they blend like a dream. Top two rows are warm , third have the mauve hues and the bottom have a cool-toned darker shades. This palette is just beautiful. Love the eye looks I created with it. Now I don't know how is they staying power without the eye shadow  base LOL. I been using ArtDeco's primer based for a few weeks now and you guys nothing will ever move of your eyelid. This base hold eye shadows the whole day. But maybe I can tell you more of in my ArtDeco post soon :) Just heads up you need that base!
Second palette is a lip palette. Also includes 12 everyday lip and cheek shades. They can me worn by itself or you can mix them up and created your prefect color. I personally will use it as a lip palette only. Again the color section in this palette is just beautiful. We have light neutral shades, we have mauves , reds and darker colors :)

Message From Judy explaining why she created these two palettes : " I travel quite often and typically bring minimal makeup, which is why I love palettes," Travis says. "I like having a variety of colors to choose from without packing so many products in my makeup bag. "

Next we have Aspyn Ovard a lifestyle blogger. Too be honest I have never heard of Aspyn until this collaboration. After that I look more into her presona and learned more about her :)
Aspyn who likes to keep her makeup to minimum  created a trio of face products to add just a bit of flush with out looking overdone.
The Glow-y Powder Highligher & Cheek Powders, come in three shades named after her favorite destinations :
* London Lustre ~ soft icy - golden highlighter
* Santorini Sunrise ~ warm champagne highlight
* Rome Rose ~ shimmery rose-hued blush.
Her collection also includes an eye accents : lower lash mascara and clear brow gel.
I love the formula on the Glow-y Powders. The pigmentation is just right!  They look gorgeous! the blush and the champagne highlight are my favorite!

Message from Aspyn explaining why she created these products: " The products I made are products I would purchase myself," Aspyn tells Allure. "I love beauty and makeup, but I'm not super crazy about trying a lot of new different products, so I chose to create my Eye Accents Kit since I believe both those products are essentials. And then I love a strong pretty highlight and a peachy blush, so I created those as well." But her fave in line? "The Lower Lash Mascara! I use it every day on my upper and lower lashes—the small brush separates my lashes really well. "

Next we have Maryam Maquillage. I did not meet Maryam but I saw her at the NYC Pixi Event. Again I had no idea who she was. I mean I don't have to know all Beauty Bloggers right? After the event I found on IG few beauty bloggers and followed them :) I really like what they do! LOL I could do it faster right hahaha! Anyways .... Maryam also known as maryamnyc, created two sculpting/contouring palettes:
* The Strobe & Bronze Glow & Bronze palette
* The Strobe & Sculpt Highlight & Contour palette
There is also the dual ended brush to go with the palettes :) And the brush is amazing! Both palettes are just as amazing as well. Both come with 6 shades matte and shimmers. They are so pigmented!

Message from Maryam explaining why she created these products : " I really love all three products and cannot live without them because the shades are curated for every occasion in which I want to feel bronzed, glowing, chiseled or all of the above," she says. "We made sure that the powders are packed with pigment, so that all you need is a tiny bit of product for major results "

The last we have Caroline Hirons and the double cleanser! I met Caroline at that Pixi Event :) She is sooooo sweet! Also when Petra came over to us and introduced herself and Caroline she said Caroline is responsible for popularity of Glow Tonic :) She made that stuff popular and now its a cult product for many bloggers and not only.
Caroline created with Pixi Double Cleanse :) Which I was super excited about :)  And GOD I love it. I need a back up of a back up seriously! I heard that all the products are limited edition but I hope and pray for them to be permanent especially the cleanser!
Double Cleanser is paraben free, fragrance free and not tested in animals. It comes with two sides Solid Cleansing Oil and the other side Cleaning Cream.
First I use the Solid Cleaning oil to take off my makeup, and it does it so well! than I follow with the cream. I love it. It feels gentle and it didn't break me up :)

The oil side contains :
* Vitamin E ~ protect and condition
* Cameillia Oil ~ omega rich and nourishes
* Evening Primrose oil ~ heals and moisturizers

The cream side contains:
* Vitamin C ~ promotes collagen and protects
* Peptide Complex ~ Line relaxing and plumping
* Arginnie ~ Improves cell renewal and elasticity.

Message from Caroline explaining why she created double cleans : " I am known for cleansing properly—my first post back in 2010 was on cleansing, and it’s still one of my most popular ones," Hirons tells Allure. "The Double Cleanse can be used three ways: You can either use both steps in the evenings, step one followed by step two, or you can use just step two in the evenings if you aren’t wearing makeup, or you can use step two on its own in the morning. It takes literally two minutes if you’re in a hurry. No excuses! "

All mentioned products are available in Target , Target website and Pixi Store and Website

Pixi Beauty ~ what's new in my makeup bag?

*pr sample*

Hi Loves!

I feel behind with Pixi beauty reviews. Monthly I get their makeup bloggers box and well to be honest I haven't reviewed them monthly. I swear I wanted to but the time was just not enough.
I decided to write a two separate posts one on makeup and one on skin care.
Here are new goodies I got in past months.

Pixi  MatteLustre Lipstick "Raspberry Blush"
Gorgeous bright raspberry red with hot pink undertones. Lipstick is demi matte finish. Wears really comfortably on the lips. This is my third lipstick from the collection :) I actually very like them.
Price: $12
Where to buy: Target, pixibeauty.com

Pixi Lip Contour Liner ~ Invisible Smudge Stopper
Everyone needs one in their collection. I actually never really cared for clear lip liners. No color so whats the point huh?! But OMG you guys! Clear Lip liner are amazing! Pixi's invisible lip liner is moisturizing and acts like a protective barrier that prevents lipstick bleeding. Since its clear goes on perfectly with any color and any lipstick formula. I love also that is a twist up kinda deal, so no sharpening needed! Woohoo!
Prince: $12
Where to buy: Target, pixibeauty.com

Pixi Book of Beauty ~ Minimal Makeup ~ No- Makeup Makeup
When I saw this in the box I screamed! This beauty book is amazing! Especially highlighters!
This is such a perfect little palette. It comes in cardboard book style packaging. The size is perfect a bit bigger then my hand. It contains:
* 2 highlights (which I love) champagne and the white one shows more yellowish :) (top row)
* Peachy-Pink Blush (matte) and soft Bronzer ( 2nd row)
* Duo Eye Shadow ( matte and shimmery)
I actually really like this book and I been using it almost everyday. Light, vanilla matte eye shadow could be more pigmented tho. Other then then that I have no complains.
Price: $24
Where to Buy: Target, pixibeauty.com

Pixi Beauty Blush Duo + Kabuki "Peach Honey"
Comes together with small kabuki brush. beautiful duo that creates a natural flush of color to cheeks.
Pixi's natural mineral powder formula reflects light, applies true to color, is hydrating and feels super lightweight.  Both shades in this duo can be wore alone or layered. Kabuki brush applies products effectively and evenly Blush is pretty peachy nude (shimmery) and the highlight is beige golden ( could be a little bit more pigmented and more shimmery).
Price: $18
Where to Buy: Target, pixibeauty.com

Pixi Tinted Brilliance Balm "Baby Bare"
Pretty peachy pink :) This balm provides hydration, sheer color and a lip stain. Contains Vitamin E and Shea Butter. This your typical lip crayon. Something like the Clinique Chubby sticks.
Color looks really pretty on. It does have a bit of minty scent. Wears of quite fast, but it leaves lips moisturized. I would suggest to exfoliate lips before applying , it tends to find and sit in the lines. Trust me this doesn't look good :( Over all I like it. This comes in prefect when you don't feel like wearing any lipstick or lip gloss.
Price: $14
Where to Buy: Target, pixibeauty.com

Pixi Lash Line Ink ~ Black Silk
woohoo another great eye liner. Liquid eye liner. This one is super easy to use. 12h stay, water proof formula and non feathering. Love the flexible tip. Goes on smooth and dries fast. Color stays dark through out the day.
Price: $14
Where to buy: Target, pixibeauty.com
