Maybelline City Palettes ~ Graffiti Pop ~ swatches and review

Follow my blog with Bloglovin
*pr sample*

I have to say I was looking forward to the new Maybelline City Palettes.
I went yesterday to my local Rite Aid and guess what ?! Yes we finally have the display :)
I also notice few more new launches by Maybelline, that I am thinking of picking it up.

But now I will show you what Influenster send me :)
I got accepted in a Maybelline vox box and I got a Mini City Palette is a shade Graffiti Pop.
Now to be honest, if I would go now to pick few palettes, Graffiti Pop would not be on the list. I am eyeing few other ones, that I would like to try first . But... after swatching it, I fell in love :) I mean that blue and purple are just so pretty! plus palette do contain few natural shades, so I am able to create something wearable on my eyes. I really like the two shades on top of the blue one :) Those are my kind of shades :)

Personally I really like the texture. Soft, creamy and pigmented. Graffiti Pop contains mostly shimmer and satin shades. There is 6 shades in the palettes and it cost $9.99. In my opinion they are better than other maybelline palettes, you know the bigger ones ? I did enjoyed the new 24k gold palette tho, but the others compared to this one were so so. The do retail at the same price but if I had to choose I would definitely purchase the mini'city palettes over the bigger palettes (im sorry but do they have a name? I can't remember).

I do like the palettes and by the looking at them and seeing swatches online, I think they will be fun to play with. And hoarder in me want them and I think will get them soon :) There are 8 in total :)
Available at Ulta, CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens
Price $9.99

*Thanks Influenster and Maybelline for sending me this palettes. Opinion is my own.,

Maybelline SuperStay 24 Lip Color ~ review and swatches

*pr sample*

I got recently chosen for a new voxbox by Influenster. This time I got to try two colors from Maybelline SuperStay 24 liquid lipstick.
I like the lipsticks that I can wear all day with no need to touch up. Maybelline SuperStay gave me just that.

I received two shades:
* Keep up the fames ~ red
* Constant Toast ~ nude.

Both colors are gorgeous :) Personally I find myself reaching more for nude but omg that red have my heart :)

As for the formula , I like it. Red applies much better than nude one. The color is more opaque and creamy and just looks so pretty on my lips. Nude well its more sheer and it sit in my lines on my lips (you know I mean?) it does not apply same as red that for sure. Plus once it dries it gives me glowy metallic sheen to my lips which with my oily skin was no no. I mean don't get me wrong i do like metallic finish but I need to mattify my face better wen I wear one. I think Constant toast look better under a nude lip liner. I tried under In the nude by essence and I really like it. I want to see how it will look under soft berry tho :)

what i am impressed the most is the staying power. They do last very long on my lips. First, when you apply the liquid lipstick on you need to wait for it to dry. It will get all sticky and tacky and just yuck! but wait once its dry go over with the conditioning stick. That conditioning stick/balm locks on moisture and color.  Color stayed on my lips .. lets see ... I applied it around 7:30am and I saw that the color was wearing off from the middle of my lips around 4pm. I say not bad. The formula is so lightweight you cant feel it on the lips :) Plus the stick makes your lips hydrated. I notice drying by the 3:30pm.
I was afraid of removing them tho. When I first swatched them on the back of my hand it was soooo hard and painful to take them off...really! So I was scared that I might be difficult to take tem off the lips as well.  I used first my L'Occitane Immortelle Oil Makeup Remover and after I took my In Vitamin Micellar water and took of any excess that was left. I went off nicely without hurting my lips :)

Maybelline SuperStay 24 is indeed long wearing and smudge proof.  I did notice a tiny transfer on my mug yesterday but clearly it was nothing. I rub my finger on my lips and there was no lipstick on . Weird tho. I didn't notice any cracking or flaking. Over all I am impressed with them :) I might pick one or two more shades :) Coz I wasn't happy wit the nude I got so I might pick another one. There is 30 shades in collection so for sure I will be able to pick something up.
If you are on the budget and you need a long wearing lightweight lipstick try maybelline superstay 24 :) They less than $10 :)

*Thanks for Influenster for sending them over for review. Just wanna state that all thought are my own :)

Milani Cosmetics Everyday Eyes 'Earthly Elements' Eyeshadow palette ~ Swatches + Review

OMG I am so excited to see my favorite drugstore brand Milani Cosmetics came out with a eyeshadow palettes! They just launched recently and there is total of 6 palettes available now.
If you know me , you know my love for Milani Cosmetics. They are by far the best drugstore brand! Their products are amazing, affordable and comes in the prettiest gold packaging ever. I could talk and talk about them, seriously!

I picked only Earthy Elements palette, coz this was the only one left...
It comes in beautiful rectangle gold packaging, with clear lid. Milani name is visible on the lid in gold ink.  Packaging is plastic but very good quality. Doesn't feel cheap. On the back you can see a tutorial on how to use the palettes and which shade is you base etc. Tells you step by step on how to use each color in the palette.  Normally I don't care much for those kind of tutorials. Each palette comes with dual-ended brush. Which is an actual brush and not a sponge one that most of the palettes uses.
I haven't use the brush, so I can really say if it is good or not.

The colors in this palette are gorgeous! Tell me you think so too! Especially that ORANGE! I actually wanted this palette, coz that color stand up and screamed my name form the pics when I first saw it. On the Milani Website this palette is described as "terracotta & earthy" Beautiful warm tones palette.
Eyeshadows are rich and pigmented! they feel soft and they blend really nice!
They are matte and shimmer shades. Shimmers swatches nice but they will create fallouts, especially the first (base) shade. It is just a glitter in my opinion. The other shimmers preform much better. and they are opaque in one swipe.   Mattes are nice, I had to swipe my finger few times so they swatch can be visible. Mattes are not my faves though. I really want to love them but they do take a lot of time to build it up.

Overall I really like this palette and I will be getting rest of the colors. Milani did really good :) I love to see drugstore brands coming out with a high quality palettes. I say go for it! The shadows are amazing and they wear long time over a primer.
Milani also launched few new products that I cant wait to get my hands on! Including new primers, foundation and liquid lipsticks!

I got my palette form CVS $10.99
You can find them at any drugstore that carry MILANI line and they are available on Milani Website for $9.99

8.) Maybelline Color Elixirs ~ I just Love them :) They do feel so good on the lips. Non Sticky and moisturizing. Apply smoothly.  I own around 9 or 10 of them :) some are a bit more opaque then others. They do give a nice gloss and I get around 4h of wear :)
$8.99 Rite Aid.

9.) Wet N Wild Mega Last Lipsticks ~ The best and the cheapest drugstore lipsticks :) Large selection of colors. They are all MATTE and not drying! lasts super long on the lip. 10.) Cover Girl Bombshell Eyeshadow ~ I really like it. Not my favorite primer but still one of the best. I did swathed along Urban Decay primer potion to see if they are dupes ... But they are not. The color is similar , but the UD primer just drys on my hand and I could not take it off. This one came out easily. But I still think its a great shadow base , it did hold my eyeshadow in place for several hours without creasing. $8.99 at Rite Aid

11.) Rimmel Stay Matte Powder ~ the only powder I use .. a lot... I have a oily skin , so I get SHINY a lot :(  this powder helps with the shine. after I use blotting tissues I apply the powder on my face. The only downsize of this product is packaging .... the lid comes off easily. Rimmel I know you can do better then that :)
price around $7

Profusion Feline and Luxy Lips Swatches and Review

First I saw it on Instagram. Few girls were talking about them . Profusion Feline and Luxy Lips liquid lipsticks / glosses. These babies are sooo pigmented and soo cheap!
I found them at dollar bin at Walgreen's. $1 each :)!
I picked 5 shades of Luxy lips and 3 of Feline. That is what was left.
I still really want to get reaming 3 form Feline.

Luxy Lips

As i mention before they were a $1 each. I have 5 shades. I don't know if there is nay more of it or not. They are paraben free. Come in a squeezable tube with slanted applicator. The pigmentation on these is amazing! Very opaque. Vivid color with a matte finish. They have a bubble gum scent :) and I love it :) I like when the glosses taste and then not . People compare them OCC lip tarts. One more thing , the best to apply with a brush. The application is kinda messy. There is no name on this , or I could not find it ?.
Take a look :)

Feline

Also $1 each :) I have only 3 shades of these. I think there is 6 total but I am not sure.
These comes in tubes with the cutest  leopard print caps. Didi you know I love anything Leopard print :) The formula is very similar to Luxy Lips, these are soft and have a mousse-y feeling to it and gives a satin matte finish. each comes with an application. The pigmentation is also amazing! Very opaque and also bubble gum scent :)
Again people compare them to NYX soft matte lip Creams. Each have a adorable cat realted name.
take a look:)

Swatch o Cheshire on my lips :)

Overall I think You should get it :) Great buy :)
