Matte Liquid Lipstick Collection by Alter Ego

This isn't the first time I'm showcasing this brand on my blog. But whats not to love? I really do think that the quality if their products is outstanding! At this point I own all their eye shadow palette ( please come out with more!) and I was only missing lipsticks. They do have lashes but I don't wear those so it was an easy pass. 

So liquid lipsticks :) I got them cheap like seriously cheap! They were buy 1 get 1 free., and each lipstick retails at $6. So if you do the math I paid $18 for 6 lippies and I am so happy :) 

The shades are really up my alley and anyone who like nudes. The packing on these is so nice! I mean even the packing they do so good, so soft :) Even the lipstick component is so high end looking :) I like how is black at the top and then it go to see through so you can clearly see the shade of the lipstick. They all have doe foot applicator. 

I tried them all on my lips and they all applied evenly. There was no patchiness, and when they dried out they wore really comfortably. There is small transfer but they are long lasting.

Katy Perry Katy Kat Matte Lipsticks ~ Swatches + Review

Hi Loves!

I have an exciting post for you today. Any Katy Parry's fan out there? Did you try her new lipstick collection form collab with Cover Girl? 

Don't let the word matte fool you. This lipsticks are far form drying matte formula. They are demi-matte, which means they a more creamier and have sheen to it. Plus they feel hydrating rather then drying. 

There 13 shades in a collection and I hope they will be permanent.   I found 4 shades so far, but I will be hunting down reaming ones. 

Lipsticks comes in a white tube that have a rubbery feel to it. On the lipstick tube you can see  Katy Perry <3 Cover Girl and on other side Katy Kate Matte printed in back. On the bottom there is color and shade name with cutest cat ears printed on top! adorable right? 

I bought my at my local Rite Aid ($7.99 each) on a promo buy 1 get second 59% off. My display was rather small and there were two repeat shades. I try to find all unopened lipsticks, coz you know people like to open every single color and swatch it .. dummies! So anyways I found only 4 that I could take home.

They apply smooth and are vanilla scented. Which I really like.

Hi Beauties!

Today I have Burt's Bees Makeup review :) All the products were send to me by Ricky's Blogger Box.

Now to be honest I never tried any Burt's Bees products. I only hear or saw them at my local drugstores.
When I saw Burt's Bees Lipsticks and BB cream I screamed!

LIPSTICKS ~ There is 14 permanent shades in a line. Made with natural ingredients and the color selection is amazing! They feel really moisturizing, soften and condition lips all day long all because of their natural formula including beeswax, Moringa Oil and raspberry Seed Oil. They have satin finish. The feel like a lip balm and yet you get a full coverage on your lips :) They are creamy and feel lightweight. Perfect for everyday wear. The packaging is super cute ! lightweight and the cap reminds me of a beehive :) each cap shows the lippie color hidden inside :) the only thing is, you need to be careful because lipstick don't hid all the way... some it still out so you need to be careful when pulling and putting the cap back on . Another things is it really gives me hard to twisting up the lipstick... Hope they can improve it .
I got 7 beautiful shade to try and OMG yes Monica love them and now she need to complete collection and get reaming 7. Don't ask I am weird like that I need to have all possible colors they are other wise I cant sleep. I really really been loving them :)

BB Creams ~ I love BB and CC creams! i always use them summer time when I don't' need much and heavy coverage. Burt's Bees BB Cream 9 in 1 multi-tasking formula with Board Spectrum SPF 15 enhances your skin's natural beauty instantly. This unique natural formula moisturizes, firms skin, evens skin tone, reduces appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, conceals, illuminates, perfects skin and makes it look more beautiful. BB cream comes in a squeezable tube. Available in 3 shades Light, Light/Medium, Dark. Really hope that they will come out with bigger color range. I use Light and Light/Medium. I mix both of them to suit my complexion more. It provides light to medium coverage which I like when it comes to BB and CC creams. Feels like a moisturizer when applied. Non greasy. I like to set it with a powder after :) I am really happy that it contains SPF and I am excited to start using it more once weather gets warmer. It makes a perfect pair with my Osmosis Pressed Base :)

Tinted Lip Balms ~ lip balms are such a must have for me. Especially for my daughter, she gets her lips really chapped during winter. I been loving Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balms :) not only they soften and moisturize lips but also give a hint of color :) Love them! especially since I tend to wear super drying lipsticks this is a must have. They do also smell amazing :) I got my in shades : Red Dahlia, Sweet Violet and Zinnia (which my daughter took ).

Wet n Wild Megalast Lipsticks Swatches ~ My Collection

I am big fan of Wet n Wild. They are super affordable drugstore brand here in US. The quality of products really feels like a high end. The eyeshadows, nail polishes and lipsticks.

Their Megalast lipsticks are amazing! If you have them then you know what I am talking about. 

The are pigmented, glide on smooth and all have matte finsih. the best part? They don't feel drying on the lips. With one swipe you get full opacity. Formula is rich and velvety. The last hours on the lips. 

The only downside is the packaging. It can be hella annoying! especially the cap. You have to be really careful while putting it back on. And another thing is that lipstick stick up. You can't twist it don to hide it on the tube :( but for $2 a piece you can't go wrong.

I have in my collection total of almost 30. Some might be repeats. Some are in permanent  line and some are limited edition. I will mark the LE ones.

As for LE (Limited Edition) colors they are very similar to ones in permanent line or the other LE lipsticks that came out before. I have a close dupe post I did a while back when I picked few LE lipsticks form Halloween and Fall Displays 2015. Here is the LINK if you want to check it out.

Overall I will say these are one of the best lipsticks you can fin in a drugstore. They are creamy and pigmented and super cheap!
All the swatches I used only one swipe !!! ONE!!!!
I sill missing few form permanent display. I will have to hunt them down soon :)

Kismet Cosmetics Lipstick Review

Another lipsticks review! Yay! Are you happy? Coz I am to introduce to you a new brand I recently discovered ;)

Kismet Cosmetics is a cosmetic brand based in Louisiana , created by local makeup artist. 

I want to show you two lipsticks form Kismet Velvet Collection : "Naked Gypsy" ( nude) , "Hey Baby" (pink metallic mauve) and one of the new Succulent Collection ~ liquid lipstick "Elope" (nude).

"Naked Gypsy" is a perfect nude. its very sheer. Swatched on my hand you can see the color ( a bit hint of pink), but once I apply on my lips you can see a pretty sheen ;) I really like it. I can be wore over a lip liner or topped with a gloss. Not drying , even thought it says semi-matte on a packaging. 

"Hey Baby" this a gorgeous metallic mauve pink. I don't think I own Lipstick like this. This is my everyday type of lipstick. It is always in my makeup bag. 

Both lipsticks feel smooth and comfortable on the lips. Come in a black tube with Kismet name printed at the bottom. Lid is see-through. The tube is a really good quality! Don't feel cheap or like its about to break. 

"Elope" is one of the shades available in a Succulent Collection. A liquid lipsticks. But not the matte liquid lipsticks like Jeffree Star or Kat Von D. This one is more of a hybrid between gloss and a lipstick.  The color is a mix of brown and pink. Another perfect nude, that I been wearing a lot. The applicator is stiff doe-foot which I like. The color is super opaque. Formula is creamy and feels soft and lightweight on my lips. Also is very long lasting. I didn't have to touch up much. To "kill"the gloss effect I "bite on a tissue" and the i got more wearable shade.

I actually like the Succulent Collection more then Velvet one. Wish I could pick more colors up. Elope is the shade that I wore the most. The second comes Naked Gypsy, my perfect nude.
I am more of a nude lippie girl as you can tell :)

Also I really like the name KISMET. There is this book series I read and the main characters sister name was Kismet. Books are about a young witch Tammy Jo who loves bake. Did I mention she is part fairy? :) If you interested it is a "Southern Witch" series and sorry for spoilers . but Kismet wont make an appearance until book 4 and 5 :(

Hello June. Time passes so fast. I have to say May was a good month. My daughter celebrated her birthday. She is 6 Years old! I got her My Little Pony Ice Cream Cake. She loves Ponies. And I prefer ice Cream cake more then regular one. We did have a fabulous weather. After the cold winter, warm weather was what we need. We did a BBQ for Sophia’s Birthday Party, and I got to tell you I love BBQ-ing.

I juz mamy czerwiec. Czas tak szybko leci... Maj byl bardzo dobrym dla mnie miesiacem. Moja mala Sophia obchodzila juz 6te urodziny. Kupilam jej tort lodowy z My Little Pony, ktore ona poprostu uwielbia. I wogole ja bardziej lubie torty lodowe niz normalne z ciasta. Moze dlatego ze tutaj nie ma takich dobrych jakie sa w Polsce, albo jakie moja babcia robi. A babcia robi bardzo dobre torty. A po tej naszej dlugiej , mrozniej zimie wkoncu sie ocieplilo. Robilismy grilla w Sophi urdzinki i bylo super. Pierwszy raz mielimy malze i byly pychaaaa.

January Haul / Zakupy w Styczniu

I didn't do much crazy shopping last month. I try to stop myself and say 'I don't need this , I don't need this' ... but it didn't help.. Like a mention before I am a MAKEUPHOLIC ... I love MAKEUP and makeup makes me happy. I don't even have to use it , just by looking at it makes me feel better ... hahah Too weird? and I love taking pictures of my makeup. Just look at my Instagram page. 

Compare to other months I didn't spend that much money either. All the makeup I got was really cheap  and that's why I bought 10 lipsticks in 1 DAY ! hahahah yes you heard me 10~

Wydaje sie ze nie kupilam za duzo w ostatnim  miesiacu. Probuje sie powstrzymac od kupwania kolorowki i powtarzam sobie ze tego nie potrzebuje , ale i tak kupie..... No coz ...kocham kosemtyki ,szczegolnie te do makijazu , nawet nie musze ich uzywac , wystarczy ze popatrze na nie i juz mi lepiej hahahah dziwne prawda :) Bardzo lubie fotografowac swoje kosmetyki :) I Instagram to podtwierdza. 

W porownaniu z innymi miesiacami nie kupilam za duzo , i nie wydlalm za duzo kasy tez... Wszystko bylo bardzo tanie , na wyprzedazy , plus jeszcze mialam kupony ze znizkami :) i dlatego w jeden dzien kupilam 10 pomadek :)
